Thermochemical Investigations of the Systems Ti/Ni and Ti/Co By treatment of solid Ni or Co with a H2/TiCl4-gas mixture at sufficient high temperature (T ≥ 900°C) the intermetallic phases TiNi3 and TiCo3, resp., are formed. The conversion grade depends on the H2/TiCl4-ratio. From the experimentally determined conversion grades and the known thermodynamic data of all other species existing in equilibrium the free enthalpies and the heats of formation of TiN3 and TiCo3 have been calculated (TiNi3: ΔH(298) = ?133.3 ± 6 kJ/mol; TiCo3: ΔH(298) = ?104.7 ± 6 kJ/mol). 相似文献

Mixed cobalt(II) complexes with the monodentate ligands: 2-hydroxybenzoic acid deprotonated (sal–, the salicylate ion) and water, have been investigated. The combined results of the spectrophotometric and conductance measurements, as well as known the X-ray structure for solids, were used to determine the structure of the studied complexes in solution. The electronic absorption spectra in aqueous acid (0.01M HClO4), ethylene glycol (glycol), formamide (FM), N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF), and dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) solutions have been recorded. The d-d electronic spectra have been treated by the crystal-field model (CFM) and angular overlap model (AOM). Low-symmetry splittings of the broad asymmetric bands in the experimental spectra (solutions at room temperature) were found by Gaussian analysis. The effect of the and bonding of the monodentate ligands (with oxygen-donor ligators) on the central metal ion was described in the ligand–field framework. The kinetics of oxidation of ascorbic acid in the presence of cobalt octa-4,5-carboxyphthalocyanine sodium salt (Teraphthal) was studied. A kinetic equation was obtained and a scheme of the process was proposed. According to the scheme, the first stage is the formation of a complex of the catalyst with dioxygen, and the limiting stage is the reaction of dioxygen with the ascorbate monoanion. The influence of the pH of the medium and the presence of a transport protein (albumin) on the state and catalytic activity of Teraphthal was studied. The activity coefficients of Co(en)3Cl3 and K2SO4 were measured by means of a cell with ion-exchange liquid membranes following the method described in paper I. The results prove that this method is even more valuable with multicharged salts than with 1-1 electrolytes. The values obtained are precise and reliable down to dilution limits never before accessible, e.g., 4×10–5 mol-kg–1 in Co(en)3Cl3. High dilution levels are of particular importance when dealing with highly charged electrolytes since the trend at higher concentrations often leads to errors both in extrapolation to infinite dilution and in the absolute activity coefficients. As an application, the activity coefficients of [Co(en)3]2(SO4)3-suspected to be wrongly evaluated in past literature-were measured, and their values at low concentrations were actually lower than those quoted before. 相似文献
