Arithmetic Hodge Structure and Nonvanishing of the Cycle Class of 0-Cycles

We construct 0-cycles on a self-product of a curve whose cycle classes are linearly independent in the extension group of arithmetic Hodge structure. This is an extended version of Theorem 4.5 of Asakura's contribution to CMR Lecture Notes Ser. 24 ((2000), pp. 133–154).

A rigid graph for every set

负电子亲和势GaAs光电阴极中的三光子激发和发射的理论研究

将三阶微扰理论应用于单晶GaAs半导体,结合与实际相接近的能带结构,得到了GaAs中三光子吸收系数的解析式表达式,在考虑了激发电子的逃逸过程的情况下,进而推导了负电子亲和势GaAs光电阴极中三光子光电发射的发射系数的解析表达式.两表达式得到的理论数值分别与用ns量级脉宽、2.06μm波长的激光测得的GaAs中三光子吸收系数和GaAs(Cs,O)光电阴极中三光子发射系数的实验值相比较,吻合较好.     

Some Recent Progress and Applications in Graph Minor Theory

In the core of the seminal Graph Minor Theory of Robertson and Seymour lies a powerful theorem capturing the ``rough' structure of graphs excluding a fixed minor. This result was used to prove Wagner's Conjecture that finite graphs are well-quasi-ordered under the graph minor relation. Recently, a number of beautiful results that use this structural result have appeared. Some of these along with some other recent advances on graph minors are surveyed. On the local structure of doubly laced crystals

Let g be a Lie algebra all of whose regular subalgebras of rank 2 are type A₁×A₁, A₂, or C₂, and let B be a crystal graph corresponding to a representation of g. We explicitly describe the local structure of B, confirming a conjecture of Stembridge.     

Pauli-Fierz Hamiltonians defined as quadratic forms

We study Pauli-Fierz Hamiltonians-self-adjoint operators describing a small quantum system interacting with a bosonic field. Using quadratic form techniques, we extend the results of Dereziński-Gérard and Gérard about the self-adjointness, the location of the essential spectrum and the existence of a ground state to a large class of Pauli-Fierz Hamiltonians.     

[VS_4Cu_6(Py)_8I_3]的合成和晶体结构

在(NH4)3VS4/CuI/Py反应体系中合成了新化合物 [VS4Cu6(Py)8I3]并测定其晶体结构。该化合物(C40H40N8Cu6I3S4V)属正交晶系, 空间群为Fdd2, 晶胞参数为: a = 29.924(6), b = 13.475(3), c = 25.853(5) , V = 10425(4) ?, Dc = 2.006 g/cm3, Mr = 1573.92, Z = 8, (MoK) = 4.546 mm-1, F(000) = 6048。结构由直接法解出, 用全矩阵最小二乘法修正, 最终偏离因子R = 0.023, wR = 0.069。簇合物分子是由6个带端基配体的Cu沿着四面体单元VS4的6条SS边配位而成, 6个Cu排列成了1个八面体, V基本位于八面体的中心, 整个分子具有C2对称性。
