We study the ground state properties of a one-dimensional Ising chain with a nearest-neighbor ferromagnetic interactionJ 1, and akth neighboranti-ferromagnetic interactionJ k . WhenJ k/J1=–1/k, there exists a highly degenerate ground state with a residual entropy per spin. For the finite chain with free boundary conditions, we calculate the degeneracy of this state exactly, and find that it is proportional to the (N+k–1)th term in a generalized Fibonacci sequence defined by,F N (k) =F N–1 (k) +F N–k (k) . In addition, we show that this one-dimensional model is closely related to the following problems: (a) a fully frustrated two-dimensional Ising system with a periodic arrangement of nearest-neighbor ferro- and antiferromagnetic bonds, (b) close-packing of dimers on a ladder, a 2× strip of the square lattice, and (c) directed self-avoiding walks on finite lattice strips.Work partially supported by grants from AFOSR and ARO.  相似文献

Abstract

Eight surface snow samples taken during the 1987/88, 1988/89 and 1990/91 Italian Antarctic Expeditions and six samples collected at different depths from two dissimilar sites during the 1990/91 Expedition, were analyzed for the non-chlorinated organic content using the GC capillary columns technique and GC-MS. Several biogenic and anthropogenic classes of organic compounds were identified and quantitatively determined. The data obtained give a more complete picture of the pollution level in Antarctica.  相似文献

Abstract

Organic compounds extractable with n-hexane were identified and quantitatively determined in pack, surface and deep snow samples taken at different depths and collected at several altitudes above sea level from Antarctica during the 1993/94 Italian expedition. The comparison between the composition of organic compounds in snow and the ones in pack and sea-water samples pointed out that the three matrices substantially contain the same biogenic and anthropogenic organic compounds. The contribution of marine aerosol to organic content in the snow is confirmed by the enrichment ratios calculated for the more representative classes of identified compounds (n-alkanes, phthalates and low molecular weight alkylbenzenes). The changes in the composition of organic compounds in snow as the altitude increases seem to depend on the dimensional spectrum of the aerosol. Thus, smallest particles, richest in surfactant material, reach the highest altitudes.  相似文献

Abstract

A new synthetic route for the photocleavable molecular tag for laser desorption ionization mass spectrometry (LDI-MS) was achieved using the Fries reaction of 2,6-dimethylphenyl ester as its key reaction. Zirconium chloride was used as uniquely efficient adjuvant to promote the reaction. The molecular tag was obtained in five steps without chromatographic purification.

The chromatographic hydrophobicity index (CHI) is an HPLC‐based parameter that provides reliable guidance in optimization of pharmacological efficiency and adsorption, distribution, metabolism and exertion (ADME) profile of drug candidates. In the present work, classical and three‐dimensional quantitative structure–property relationship (QSPR) models were developed for prediction of CHI values of some 4‐hydroxycoumarin analogs on immobilized artificial membrane column. Comparative molecular field analysis (CoMFA) and comparative molecular similarity indices analysis (CoMSIA) as 3D–QSPR methods were performed to gain insight into the key structural factors affecting on the chromatographic hydrophobicity of interested chemicals. The calculated parameters of Q 2, R 2 and standard error were 0.545, 0.996 and 0.773 for CoMFA model and 0.815, 0.986 and 1.44 for CoMSIA model, respectively. The contour maps for steric fields of the CoMFA model illustrate that the hydrophobicity of chemicals will be higher when the positions of R6, R7 and R8 in the 4‐hydroxycuomarin ring are substituted by alkyl groups. Moreover, by the analysis of the plots of electrostatic fields, it was concluded that the CHI value greatly increases if one hydrogen on coumarin ring is substituted by the F, Cl, Br, OH or OCH3 group.  相似文献

顶空气相色谱法测定瑞替加滨原料药中残留溶剂   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
建立了测定瑞替加滨原料药中残留溶剂乙醇、正己烷、四氢呋喃、三乙胺的顶空气相色谱方法。采用氢火焰离子化检测器,以N,N-二甲基甲酰胺为样品溶剂,通过对色谱条件优化,建立了以DB-624为分析柱、110℃为平衡温度、15 min为平衡时间的残留溶剂测定方法。经方法学验证,上述4种溶剂的方法检出限依次为0.007 5%、0.000 48%、0.002 4%、0.01%;峰面积的相对标准偏差均小于2.1%;平均回收率为100%~102%;4种溶剂的线性系数均大于0.995。结果表明,该方法的检测灵敏度高、精密度好、准确度高、线性关系良好,能够满足对瑞替加滨质量的控制要求。将该方法应用于3批瑞替加滨原料药的残留溶剂检测,均只检出乙醇和正己烷,且乙醇和正己烷的最高残留量分别为0.149%和0.022%,均未超出限量规定。  相似文献

Micellization parameters, critical micelle concentration (cmc), degree of counterion dissociation (α), aggregation number (n), critical packing parameter, and hydrophobic core volume of Dodecylpyridinium chloride (DPC) micelles were determined in presence of varying concentrations of sodium chloride (NaCl), sodium acetate (SAc), sodium propionate (SPr), ethylammonium chloride (EACl), diethylammonium chloride (DEACl), tetraethylammonium chloride (TEACl), and propylammonium chloride (PACl) through conductometric investigations at 298.15 K. The resulting data suggests that both counter and coions affect the cmc values‐cmc depressing tendency of the salts varies in order PACl≈NaCl>EACl>DEACl>TEACl>SPr>SAc, while the degree of counterion dissociation is dependent on the nature and concentration range of the added salt. Increasing salt concentration increases the relative hydrophobic volume of the micelles and coion has not much effect on aggregation number.  相似文献

A fast and sensitive chemiluminescent enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay method to measure pathogenic bacteria, Escherichia coli O157:H7, on immuno-chromatographic membrane was studied. Non-specific binding of proteins on membrane strip was controlled to attain the best performance of immunosensor by optimising the composition of a running buffer. The specificity of the proposed immunostrip was confirmed by conducting experiments for four different micro-organisms. A chemiluminescent signal could be successfully generated from a proposed immunostrip sensing system, and a significant change in the chemiluminescent light intensity with the concentration of target microbes was obtained. E. coli O157:H7 could be quantitatively measured in the range of 1.1?×?103?–1.1?×?107 CFU (colony forming units) mL?1 within 16?min by using the developed chemiluminescent immunostrip.  相似文献
