Fast Fourier Continuous Cyclic Voltammetry at Gold Ultramicroelectrode in Flowing Solution for Determination of Ultra Trace Amounts of Penicillin G

In this work, for the first time a fast continuous cyclic voltammetry was used as a highly sensitive detection method for Penicillin G in a flow‐injection system. A special computer‐based numerical calculation method (using Fast Fourier Transformation) is introduced here for enhancing the analyte signal and noise reduction. During the measurements, the potential waveform (consists of potential steps for cleaning, stripping and potential ramp) was continuously applied on an Au disk microelectrode (with a radius 12.5 μm in radius). The stripping time was less than 200 ms. Effects of rest potential, sweep rate, and delay time on the sensitivity of the method were investigated. The limit of detection of the method was 1.0 × 10^?11 M. The detection limit of the method is 660 times lower than the most sensitive reported method. The relative standard deviation of the method at 1.0×10^?7 M of Penicillin G was 2.7% for 10 runs.     

Radiation induced decomposition of halogenated organic compounds in water

Decomposition by ionizing radiations of p-chlorophenol and tetrachloroethylene in synthetic water samples at about 2 mg Cl L⁻¹, has been studied on laboratory-scale experiments. Bicarbonate/carbonate and nitrate ions, at two concentration levels (20 and 200 mg HCO₃⁻¹ and 1 and 50 mg NO₃⁻L⁻) were added to synthetic samples in order to evaluate their influence on decomposition yield. At 5 kGy γ dose level, a quantitative degradation of p-chlorophenol is obtained whereas only qualitative consideration can be drawn on tetracholoroethylene. Comparative study with respect to degradation of p-cholophenol solutions (about 2 mg Cl L⁻¹) by γ-rays and electron beam irradiation treatment at 0.5 kGy dose level, are in progress; preliminary results indicate that irradiation with γ-rays seems to be more efficient in terms of removal efficiency respect to electron beams source.     

Recent studies on phosphorus-bridging carbonyl derivatives: organophosphorus analogs of aldehydes and ketones

Reactions of disodium tetracarbonylferrate, Na₂Fe(CO)₄, with sterically hindered dialkylaminodichlorophosphines, R₂NPCl₂ (R₂N=diisopropylamino, dicyclohexylamino, and 2,2, 6, 6-tetramethylpiperidino) in diethyl ether lead to the air-stable phosphorus-bridging carbonyl derivatives (R₂NP)₂COFe₂(CO)₆ as the major products. The phosphorus-bridging carbonyl group in (i-Pr₂NP)₂COFe₂(CO)₆ has been found to undergo the following types of reactions: 1)Reduction, 2)Acylation, 3)Extrusion of the carbonyl group. Ansa macrolides as molecular workbenches for stereoselective additions to achiral (E) olefins

Highly stereocontrolled additions to achiral acyclic (E) olefins are achieved via incorporation into an ansa macrolide with a non-racemic stilbene diol (molecular workbench approach).     

氯化π-单取代环戊二烯基镍(Ⅱ)的双齿膦配合物合成和催化

合成了化学式为[(η~5一RC_5H_4)NiPh_2P(CH_2).PPh_2]Cl的六个配合物(式中R=Me,Et;n=2(dppe ).n=3(dppp),n=4(dppb).并用IR和~1H NMR对其进行了表征.考察并讨论了它们对苯基溴化镁与氯化苄和反式-均二氯乙烯交叉偶联反应的催化活性.
