A novel optimized chelating hydrogel was synthesized via graft copolymerization of acrylamide and 2‐hydroxyethyl methacrylate (as two‐dentate chelating co‐monomer) onto salep (a multicomponent polysaccharide obtained from dried tubers of certain natural terrestrial orchids) using N,N′‐methylenebisacrylamide as a crosslinker and ammonium persulfate as an initiator. Reaction parameters (N,N′‐methylenebisacrylamide and ammonium persulfate amounts as well as acrylamide/2‐hydroxyethyl methacrylate weight ratio) affecting the water absorption of the chelating hydrogel were optimized using a systematic method to achieve a hydrogel with high swelling capacity as possible. Heavy metal ion adsorption capacity of the optimized hydrogel for metal ions [Cu (II), Pb (II), Cd (II), and Cr (III)] were investigated in aqueous media containing different concentrations of these ions (5–50 ppm). The results showed that the hydrogel have great potential for heavy metal removal from aqueous solutions. The hydrogel formation was confirmed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and surface morphology study of the hydrogel was performed by scanning electron microscope. The chelating agent EDTA is widely used, and as a result is showing up widely in the aquatic environment. Here we describe a preconcentration procedure for measuring EDTA concentration in sea water samples by HPLC. The procedure consists of forming an Fe(III) complex followed by solid-phase extraction using an activated carbon cartridge. After the preconcentration, EDTA was quantified by HPLC with ultraviolet detection (260 nm). The enrichment permitted the determination of EDTA at concentrations as low as 1 nM. Good recoveries were obtained for both brackish and full-strength sea water with high repeatability (RSD < 6%). The method was applied to sea water samples taken from near the mouth of the Oyabe River in Japan.  相似文献

Abstract

By the combined use of a decomposition vessel, chelating resin, and atomic absorption spectrometry, a simple method for the determination of copper in silicate rocks was devised. A sample was digested overnight at room temperature with small amounts of hydrofluoric acid and aqua regia in the Teflon vessel having a sealing stopper. In the presence of citrate, only the supernatant of the digested sample solution was passed through a small column of the chelating resin, Dowex A-1, at pH 4. After elution with nitric acid, copper was determined by ordinary atomic absorption spectrometry. The recovery, reproducibility, and accuracy of the method were quite satisfactory. The analytical results obtained for the standard rocks agreed well with reported results.  相似文献

 An ICP-OES method using a new poly (acrylphenylamidrazone-phenylhydrazide-acylphenylhydrazine) chelating fiber to preconcentrate and separate trace In(III), Zr(IV), Tl(I), V(V), Ga(III) and Ti(IV) ions from solution samples has been established. The new chelating fiber was synthesized using polyacrylonitrile fiber as a starting material and the structure of the chelating fiber was determined by FT infrared spectrometry. The acidity, adsorption rate, re-use, capacity and interference on the adsorption of ions on the chelating fiber as well as the conditions of desorption of these ions from the chelating fiber were investigated by means of inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES). The results show that the relative standard deviations for the determination of 10 ng/ml In, Tl, Ga and 1 ng/ml Zr, V, Ti were lower than 2.5%. The results obtained for these ions in real solution samples by this method were basically in agreement with the given values with average errors of less than 4%. Received November 29, 2000. 本文采用流动注射在线阳离子螯合树脂双柱预富集 火焰原子吸收法 ,测定了痕量的铜、铅、镉和锰 ,灵敏度分别提高 33、5 0、37和 2 9倍 ,分析速度为 6 0次·h-1;对于 0 0 5 μg·mL-1Cu2 +、0 2 5 μg·mL-1Pb2 +、0 0 2 5 μg·mL-1Cd2 +和 0 0 5 μg·mL-1Mn2 +溶液 ,测定的相对标准偏差分别为 2 2 1%、3 2 4%、1 93%和3 6 6 % (n =11) ;对标准物质 (人发、小麦及猪肝 )进行了测定 ,结果与标准值相符。此法应用于饮用水和环境水样中铜、铅、镉和锰的测定 ,获得了满意的结果。  相似文献

将新型螯合树脂(XAD-H2Dz)应用于微柱现场在线采样(MFS)新技术中,实现了海水样中痕量Cd的在线原位预富集和实验室中流动注射-火焰原子吸收(FI-FAAS)系统的联机测定。采样体积为5 mL和50 mL时,检出限(3σ)分别为68和6.7 ng/L;相对标准偏差(n=7)分别为2.0%和2.6%。对国家海水微量元素标准物质GBW(E)080040和实际样品(大连老虎滩区域海水以及连云港黄海水域)中镉进行分析,均获得了满意的结果。  相似文献

以元素单质Pb片,Te粉,Se粉为原料,乙二胺为螯合剂,采用元素溶剂热反应合成出不同形貌的PbE(E=Te,Se)微晶.对所得反应物进行了X射线衍射分析,透射电镜(TEM)与扫描电镜(SEM)的分析,光致荧光光谱的表征.分析了反应条件对合成PbE(E=Te,Se)微晶的影响,讨论了其反应过程及机理.结果表明当反应温度为180℃时,反应12h可获得高度结晶的树枝状PbTe微晶以及立方状PbSe微晶.  相似文献
