Synthesis of unsaturated polyesters using adipic acid, ethylene glycol, and fumaric acid in the absence and presence of a foreign acid (phosphoric acid) as catalyst was carried out by a two-stage method under constant reaction temperatures of 160–180°C and at different ratios of diol to diacid. The experimental data fit the Chen–Wu rate equations for self-catalyzed and acid-catalyzed reactions. The reaction rate constants and activation energies for both systems were calculated. The rate constants of fumaric acid–ethylene glycol systems were found to be nearly constant and had negligible variations with increasing chain length of polymer. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

It was shown by31P and13C NMR spectroscopy that methyl(3-carboxy-3-oxopropyl)phosphinic acid (4-methylhydroxyphosphinyl-2-oxobutyric acid) (1) and the amide (2) of the latter exist in keto forms in non-aqueous solutions. In aqueous solutions an equilibrium between the keto,gem-diol, and enol forms has been observed. The proportions of the diol and enol forms increase as the acidity of the media increases. Water present in undiluted acetic acid can be monitored in situ with Pt and Au microelectrodes using differential pulse and square‐wave voltammetries. Both reduction and oxidation peaks can be obtained. The best quantitative analytical results were obtained for the anodic peak, the Pt microelectrode, and differential pulse voltammetry. The anodic water peak is located at +1.55 V vs. the quasi reference Pt electrode. The voltammetric peak obtained at Pt electrode is apparently not a diffusional one, however, the calibration plot obtained by employing this peak is linear over a wide concentration range, up to 4 mol dm?3. The detection limit has been estimated as 2.3 mM or 0.0043 v/v%. The developed method may be particularly useful, since the Karl Fischer method can not be used to determine water in glacial acetic acid due to the estrification reaction of acetic acid with methanol. A voltammetric wave of undiluted acetic acid could not be obtained in the positive and negative ranges of potential.  相似文献

Ethnopharmacological relevanceMetabolic syndrome is closely related to the intestinal microbiota and disturbances in the host metabolome. Hyperuricemia (HUA), a manifestation of metabolic syndrome, can induce various cardiovascular diseases and gout, seriously affecting a patient’s quality of life. Astragalus membranaceus has a long history as a commonly used traditional Chinese medicine to treat kidney disease in China and East Asia.Materials and methodsWe compared the therapeutic effect of benzbromarone and two different doses Astragalus membranaceus ultrafine powder (AMUP) in rats with HUA. Ultra-performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometer was used to analyze the AMUP metabolism in the plasma, urine, and feces. Further, 16S ribosome RNA sequencing and feces metabolomic were performed to capture the variation of the gut microbiota and metabolites changes before and after drug administration.ResultsAMUP had a notable impact on reducing blood uric acid levels while protecting the liver and kidney. Drug metabolism analysis demonstrated that effective constituent flavonoids are distributed in the blood, whereas saponins remain in the intestine. Gut microbiota analysis showed that low-dose AMUP ameliorated HUA-induced gut dysbiosis by reducing the abundance of harmful bacteria and increasing that of some beneficial bacteria with anti-inflammatory properties, such as Clostridia, Lachnospiraceae, and Muribaculaceae. In addition, HUA-induced changes in metabolite contents in bile acid and adrenal hormone biosynthesis pathways were restored after treatment with AMUP.ConclusionLow-dose AMUP exerts remarkable therapeutic effects on HUA by regulating the gut microbiome and mediating gut metabolism pathways associated with uric acid excretion.  相似文献

Hydroxylamine was found to be a mild reagent for conversion of arylboronic acids and their pinacolyl boronate esters into phenols. The reaction of Ru3(CO)12 with but-2-yn-1,4-diol (HOCH2CCCH2OH, BUD) in CH3OH/KOH followed by acidification with HCl leads to four products, one of which has been identified as the title complex (μ-Cl)Ru3(CO)934-H2CCC(H)CH2]. This is an open cluster containing a bridging Cl atom on the open side and a C4H5 moiety bound to all the metals. The structure of the complex has been determined by X-ray analysis.The thermal reaction of Ru3(CO)12 with BUD has been revisited for a comparison with the results in alkaline solution. The main product is the allylic derivative HRu3(CO)9[HCCHCCHO].  相似文献
