A Scanning Electron Microscopy study of water in soil

Cold stage Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) with a rapid cooling technique makes it possible to investigate the water phase within unsaturated porous media. It is thought that this technique preserves the main features of the micromorphology of the water menisci as it exists in the liquid phase in soils. Saddle-shaped elements, as well as pendular rings of water, were observed with concave and convex curvatures of the water-air interface. The hydraulic conductivity of an unsaturated soil may be inferred from SEM photographs. Observations of isolated water menisci indicate the existence of an immobile water domain. The surface geometry of the water menisci was analyzed quantitatively and surface tension and capillary pressure were determined.     

Flaked capillary columns with crown ether complexes for gas-liquid chromatography

Flaked capillary columns with an OV-101/CE-Na{in3}PO{in4} hydrophobic-hydrophilic sorbent have been suggested. This sorbent provides for the analysis of polar and nonpolar substances, including amines and aminoalcohols, in aqueous and organic solvents. The efficiency of new columns was demonstrated for the analysis of 25 organic substances of various classes.Translated fromIzvestiya Akademii Nauk. Problem of the free oscillations of a capillary bridge

The free oscillations of a capillary bridge whose equilibrium shape is determined by the surface tension forces and the static gravity field are investigated. The values of 25 “lower” levels of the spectrum of natural oscillations of the capillary bridge are found for various control parameters in accordance with the experimental conditions.     

Theoretical Description of the Third Order Parametric Wave Mixing in a Gas-Filled Capillary of Femto-Second Laser Pulse

The theoretical signal-pressure curves are calculated from approximate analytical solutions of the coupledequations describing the third order parametric wave mixing in a gas-filled capillary of femto-second laser pulses. Thecomparison with the corresponding experimental curves suggests that the following three factors exert important influ-ences on the degree of fitting between the theoretical and experimental results: the walk-off, the phase modulation, andthe third order harmonic of idler pulse.     

苯磺酰苯胺类药物理化性能的研究

利用高效液相色谱和分光光度法，研究了新合成的5个苯磺酰苯胺类化合物的酸离解常数和脂溶性，结果表明，他们具有较弱的酸性和合适的脂溶性。预计会有较好的抗肝片吸虫活性。     

The dynamics of a two-component fluid in the presence of capillary forces

In the present paper we study the qualitative behavior ast→∞ of the solution of the Cauchy problem for a system of equations describing a dynamics of a two-component viscous fluid. The model under consideration takes into account the mutual diffusion of the fluid components as well as their capillary interaction. We describe the ω-limit set of trajectories of the dynamical system generated by the problem. It is proved that the stationary solution of the problem, is a homogeneous stationary distribution of one of the components, is asymptotically stable. Any other stationary solution is not asymptotically stable and is even unstable if there are no close stationary solutions corresponding to a smaller energy level. HPLC法测定阿奇霉素葡萄糖注射液中阿奇霉素的含量

利用高效液相色谱法，以VP-ODS型色谱柱，乙腈-异丙醇-水-氨水（60：25：15：0.1)为流动相，于210nm波长处测定了阿奇霉素葡萄糖注射液中阿奇霉素葡萄糖注射液中阿奇霉素的含量。阿奇霉素的浓度在0.75-1.75mg/mL线性关系良好，线性方程的A=881910.4c-16208.2，相关系数r=0.9999。阿奇霉素的平均回收率为99.59%，测定结果的相对标准偏差为1.31%。     

Gamma radiation effects on an amine antioxidant added in an ethylene-propylene copolymer

The aim of this work was to compare the gamma radiation induced effects on samples of an ethylene-propylene copolymer antioxidant free with samples loaded with an antioxidant characterised by the presence of an -NH functional group. The employed techniques were Electron Spin Resonance spectroscopy (ESR) and High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). Stable radicals R---NO° due to the interaction of free radicals produced in the irradiated polymer with the antioxidant have been observed by ESR at room temperature. The time evolution of the ESR signals following the irradiation was examined at different doses. The amount of antioxidant not involved in the oxidation reactions has been determined using HPLC.     

On the reliability of unsaturated hydraulic conductivity calculated from the moisture retention curve

In comparison with direct measurements of unsaturated hydraulic conductivity, the methods of calculations from the moisture retention curve are attractive for their fast and simple use and low cost. These are the main reasons for their increasing use, mainly in spatial variability studies. On the other hand, it is known that their applicability is limited. The possibility of the use of the retention curve to indirectly determine hydraulic conductivities is analyzed as follows. The theoretical derivation of the relationK(h) – (h) is briefly discussed with regards to potential sources of inaccuracy. The sensitivity of the algorithm forK(h) calculation is studied as a response to possible inaccuracies in the retention curve determination. Conclusions about the usability of calculated hydraulic conductivities are drawn.

改进了洛伐他汀的分析方法，以甲醇：水＝80：20为流动相，采用紫外检测器检测，使用C4色谱柱定性、定量分析了洛伐他汀及洛伐他汀羟基酸，并得出了相关方程．实验证明，采用新的色谱条件可在有效地分析洛伐他汀及其开环酸的基础上，节约分析成本．
