This paper is concerned with the existence and attractivity of time periodic solutions for one‐dimensional Nicholson's blowflies model with nonlinear diffusion. By constructing some suitable Lyapunov functionals and combining with Leray–Schauder fixed point theorem, we establish the existence of nonnegative time periodic solutions. A simple and rapid method based on micro‐liquid chromatography using a synthetic monolithic capillary column was developed for determination of iohexol in human serums, a marker to evaluate the glomerular filtration rate. A hydrophilic methacrylic acid‐ethylene dimethacrylate monolith provided excellent selectivity and efficiency for iohexol with separation time of 3 min using a mobile phase of 40:60 v/v 50 mM phosphate buffer pH 5/methanol. Four serum protein removal, methods using perchloric acid, 50% acetonitrile, 0.1 M zinc sulfate, and centrifuge membrane filter were examined. The method of zinc sulfate was chosen due to its simplicity, compatibility with the mobile phase system, nontoxicity, and low cost. Interday calibration curves were conducted over iohexol concentrations range of 2–500 mg/L (R2 = 0.9997 ± 0.0001) with detection limit of 0.44 mg/L. Intra‐ and interday precisions for peak area and retention time were less than 2.8 and 1.4%, respectively. The method was successfully applied to serum samples with percent recoveries from 102 to 104. The method was applied to monitor released iohexol from healthy subject. Compared with the commercially available reversed‐phase high‐performance liquid chromatography method, the presented method provided simpler chromatogram, faster separation with higher separation efficiency and much lower sample and solvent consumption. 相似文献

A simple and economical method to isolate whey protein from fresh raw milk is developed by serial defatting, casein eliminating, lactose removing, and separating by gel filtration chromatography. Four major whey components, including immunoglobulin (Ig), bovine serum albumin (BSA), β-lactoglobulin (β-Lg) and -lactalbumin (-Lac), and a non-protein of low molecular mass (1.7 kDa) but strong absorbance at 280 nm, are detected simultaneously. The small non-protein molecule is rich in aromatic amino acids and thiol groups as supported by the structural characterization with near infrared Fourier transform Raman spectroscopy (FT-Raman). FT-Raman results show that the secondary structure of Ig is dominated by anti-parallel β-pleated sheet; BSA is mainly in -helix; both β-form and unordered structure are important in β-Lg; while -Lac is mostly in -helix coupling with random coil. Differences in the Raman profile for each whey component reflect their intrinsic compositional differences and distinct spatial arrangement. The S–S linkages diverging around 510–540 cm−1 indicate that the conformation of disulfide bonds in each whey components is different, which may be responsible for their diversified behaviors in solubility, rheological and functional properties. 相似文献

Hemp cake, a by-product of cold pressing oil from hemp seeds, is a nutritious ingredient that could be used for the production of new or reformulated meat products. The aim of this study was to determine the influence of inclusion of 0.9%, 2.6%, 4.2%, and 7.4% (w/w) hemp cake (Cannabis sativa L.) on the physicochemical and textural properties, oxidation, and sensory acceptance of cooked and vacuum-packed meatballs during refrigerated storage. The addition of 7.4% hemp cake enhanced the amount of dry matter and reduced the content of water. Lightness (L*) and redness (a*) values reduced significantly with higher levels of hemp supplementation. Regardless of the amount of hemp additive, pH, color parameters did not differ significantly during the 12 days of storage. Hemp cake significantly decreased protein and lipid oxidation: the inhibitory effect of adding 7.4% hemp cake on protein carbonyl group formation and TBARS values reached 11.16% and 36.5%, respectively, after 10 days of storage. Sensory analysis revealed that meatballs prepared with 0.9% and 2.6% hemp cake gained higher overall scores. The results indicate that hemp cake, a material considered mainly as waste, may be destined for food purposes and be an alternative ingredient for the production of sustainable meat products. 相似文献

Solid-state fermentation of coconut oil cake has been carried out with Rhizopus oligosporus for the production of phytase. Phytase is used commercially in the animal feed industry to improve animal performance because
there is a substantial and growing interest among swine and poultry producers in the application of phytase to improve the
nutritional quality in animal feeds. Demonstrated benefits include improved feed yield ratios and reduction in the environmental
costs associated with the disposal of animal wastes. We report the production of extracellular phytase by R. oligosporus under solid-state fermentation using coconut oil cake as substrate. Maximal enzyme production (14.29 U/g of dry substrate)
occurred at pH 5.3, 30°C, and 54.5% moisture content after 96 h of incubation. The addition of extra nutrients to the substrate
resulted in inhibition of product formation. The results indicate the scope for production of phytase using coconut oil cake

This work discusses efficient and automated methods for constructing a set of representative resonance structures for arbitrary chemical species, including radicals and biradicals, consisting of the elements H, C, O, N, and S. Determining the representative reactive structures of chemical species is crucial for identification of reactive sites and consequently applying the correct reaction templates to generate the set of important reactions during automated chemical kinetic model generation. We describe a fundamental set of resonance pathway types, accounting for simple resonating structures, as well as global approaches for polycyclic aromatic species. Automatically discovering potential localized structures along with filtration to identify the representative structures was shown to be robust and relatively fast. The algorithms discussed here were recently implemented in the Reaction Mechanism Generator (RMG) software. The final structures proposed by this method were found to be in reasonable agreement with quantum chemical computation results of localized structure contributions to the resonance hybrid. 相似文献
