along the trigonal axis there is no birefringence. The frequency cutoff of SPW

The pure rotational spectrum of chlorine nitrate in its v6 = 1 excited vibrational state has been studied. A total of 2901 lines, with Ka extending to 33 in the 35Cl isotopologue and 30 in the 37Cl isotopologue, respectively, have been recorded and assigned. We have studied the conditions resulting in maximum lowering of the excitation threshold for pulsed stimulated Raman (SRS)
lasers. It has been shown theoretically that in order to achieve the lowest possible values of laser radiation pulse energy
needed to excite lasing in SRS lasers, we need high reflection of the cavity mirrors and low losses at the wavelength of the
1st Stokes component, high reflection of the output mirror at the wavelength of the pump radiation, and also matching of the
confocal parameters for the exciting laser radiation and the cavity with each other and with the length of the Raman-active
medium. The experimentally achieved excitation threshold for an SRS laser based on a barium nitrate crystal was 6 μJ, which
quantitatively corresponds well to the calculation results. Lasing of up to five Stokes components simultaneously occurred.
The efficiency for conversion of the laser radiation to one component was as high as 39%.

In this paper, the effect of bismuth doping on the structural, morphological, optical and electrical properties of Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) films has been investigated. The undoped and bismuth doped CZTS films (0, 0.5, 1, 1.5 and 2 mol%) were deposited on glass substrates by solution based method. The XRD result shows a significant improvement in the crystallinity of the films with increase in bismuth concentration. The Raman spectra of the films show the dominant peak at 334 cm–1 corresponding to A1 vibrational mode of CZTS kesterite phase. The FESEM micrographs of the films show an enhancement in the grain size and densification with the addition of bismuth ion concentration. The optical bandgap of the films was found to vary (1.59–1.40 eV) with the doping of bismuth ions. The I –V characteristics indicate twofold increment in the photoconductivity for the bismuth doped CZTS films under 100 mW/cm2 illumination suggesting their potential application in photovoltaic devices. Ammonium nitrate (AN) has received attraction globally not only as a nitrogenous fertilizer but also as an oxidizer in gas generators and propellants. Nowadays, great attention is being focused on the development of composite solid propellants with green oxidizers in realizing eco–friendly combustion products. The ammonium perchlorate (AP), which is the work horse oxidizer in composite propellant, needs replacement due to its environmental and human health issues. In this context, AN is regarded as an alternative to AP because of its easy availability and environmentally friendly chlorine free combustion products. However, AN has its own inherent drawbacks such as hygroscopicity, room temperature phase transition, and low burning rate. Recently, several studies have been focused on its phase stabilization and burning rate modification so as to develop solid propellants with improved properties. The knowledge of thermal characteristics of AN is a crucial factor for its applications in propellants and gas generators. This article details the different aspects of polymorphism, phase stabilization, thermal decomposition, hygroscopicity, specific impulse, and burn rate modification of AN and also addresses ways to overcome the inherent weakness of AN as a propellant oxidizer in formulating an effective propellant composition. 相似文献

Nitrate is a key component of synthetic fertilizers that can be beneficial to crop production in agro-ecosystems, but can also cause damage to natural ecosystems if it is exported in large amounts. Stable isotopes, both oxygen and nitrogen, have been used to trace the sources and fate of nitrate in various ecosystems. However, the oxygen isotope composition of synthetic and organic nitrates is poorly constrained. Here, we present a study on the N and O isotope composition of nitrate-based fertilizers. The δ15N values of synthetic and natural nitrates were 0?±?2?‰ similar to the air N2 from which they are derived. The δ18O values of synthetic nitrates were 23?±?3?‰, similar to air O2, and natural nitrate fertilizer δ18O values (55?±?5?‰) were similar to those observed in atmospheric nitrate. The Δ17O values of synthetic fertilizer nitrate were approximately zero following a mass-dependent isotope relationship, while natural nitrate fertilizers had Δ17O values of 18?±?2?‰ similar to nitrate produced photochemically in the atmosphere. These narrow ranges of values can be used to assess the amount of nitrate arising from fertilizers in mixed systems where more than one nitrate source exists (soil, rivers, and lakes) using simple isotope mixing models. 相似文献
