We have studied the hybridization of target DNA in solution with probe DNA on magnetic beads immobilized on the channel sidewalls in a magnetic bead separator. The hybridization is carried out under a liquid flow and is diffusion limited. Two systems are compared: one with a straight microfluidic channel and one with an integrated staggered herringbone mixer. Fluorescence microscopy studies show that the hybridization is much more efficient in the system with the integrated mixer. The results, which are discussed in terms of a simple model, are relevant for any diffusion-limited reaction taking place on the surface in a microfluidic system. 相似文献

含铬耐火材料中的SiO2,Al2O3,Fe2O3,TiO2,CaO,MgO和Cr2O3等直接影响着产品质量,属于需控制成分。文章用市售耐火材料标准品和基准试剂配制出适当含量范围且有一定梯度的系列标准样,以四硼酸锂-偏硼酸锂(质量比67∶33)作熔剂、熔样过程中添加碘化铵固体脱模剂的方法制备样品玻璃熔片,通过X射线荧光光谱法(XRF)测定元素的荧光强度,并以理论α系数基体校正法消除吸收与增强效应,从而得到测量上述组分的定量校正曲线。该方法应用于耐火材料标准品的测定,所得结果与标准值吻合。应用于实际样品的测定并和化学法比较,结果准确,精密度好,操作简单、快速,具有良好的实用性。 相似文献

The association of ascorbic acid (H2A, AA) with α-tocopherol (α-T) enhances the antioxidant capability of the two vitamins in a microemulsion formed by water, pentanol and sodium dodecyl sulphate. The comparison of vitamin C oxidation kinetics in the presence and absence of α-T in the system shows that there are no tangible differences in the time of the ascorbic acid decomposition. The main effect is the enhancement of the H2A oxidation with increased pentanol concentration in the system. Ascorbic anion interacts with surfactant association structures, changing W/O microemulsion towards O/W system. The polar part of H2A is exposed to aqueous solution and subjected to oxidation. For the vitamin C to vitamin E weight ratio equal 0.13, ascorbic acid stimulates α-T decomposition as long, as it does in the non-oxidised form. When not all amounts of both vitamins are decomposed their activity is similar to each other in the anionic surfactant system. It means they are both good antioxidants in W/O microemulsions. After some time, when vitamin C is completely decomposed, all these micellar systems become more stable with regard to vitamin E. Novel magnetic molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) beads using ractopamine as template for use in extraction was developed by microwave heating initiated suspension polymerization. Microwave heating, as an alternative heating source, significantly accelerate the polymerization process. By incorporating magnetic iron oxide, superparamagnetic composite MIP beads with average diameter of 80 μm were obtained. The imprinted beads were then characterized by scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and vibrating sample magnetometer. Highly cross-linked porous surface and good magnetic property were observed. The adsorption isotherm modeling was performed by fitting the data to Freundlich isotherm model. The binding sites measured were 3.24 μmol g−1 and 1.17 μmol g−1 for the magnetic MIP beads and the corresponding non-imprinted magnetic beads, respectively. Cross-selectivity experiments showed the recognition ability of the magnetic MIP beads to analytes is relative to degree of molecular analogy to the template. Finally, this magnetic MIP bead was successfully used for enrichment of ractopamine, isoxsuprine and fenoterol from ultrasonically extracted solution of pork and pig liver followed by high performance chromatography with fluorescence detection. The proposed method presented good linearity and the detection limits was 0.52-1.04 ng mL−1.The recoveries were from 82.0% to 90.0% and from 80.4% to 86.8% for the spiked pork and pig liver, respectively, with the RSDs of 5.8-10.0%. Combination of the specific adsorption property of the MIP material and the magnetic separation provided a powerful analytical tool of simplicity, flexibility, and selectivity. 相似文献
