Rectifying effect of heterojunction fabricated in freestanding thin film of polyaniline containing azobenzene side-chain 下载免费PDF全文
An innovative heterojunction is fabricated between two sides of a
freestanding thin film of HCl-doped polyaniline (PANI) derivative
containing azobenzene side-chain, which is synthesized through an
N-alkyl-substituted reaction. Of the film, the side with being
irradiated by UV light during preparation is represented as `A
side'; the other side without being irradiated is represented as
`N side'. The electrical properties of the heterojunction are
measured and the rectifying effect is observed in the
{current--voltage} characteristic curves with the values of
rectifying ratio (γ) being 20 at ±0.06 V at T= 77K
and 4 at ±0.02V at T=300 K separately. 相似文献

Dielectric measurements on a sample consisting of banana-shaped molecules were carried out in a frequency range between 0.1 Hz and 10 MHz. The sample exhibited B2 and B4 phases. As usual, two ranges of relaxation were detected in the B2 phase, the fast reorientation about the long axes of the molecules and a slow collective process. In the B4 phase, only one dielectric active process at low frequencies was found; this does not differ from the low frequency relaxation of the B2 modification. This relaxation is probably related to the dynamics of superstructures. Crystallization could be observed after keeping the sample for a longer time at higher temperature. Thus, it was possible to differentiate clearly between the crystalline and the B4 phases. AFM investigations prove the existence of focal-conic domains and periodic superstructures in the B4 phase; then do not appear in the crystalline state. Photo-alignment efficiency of polyimide containing azobenzene in the backbone structure (Azo-PI) is significantly enhanced by exposing the precursor (polyamic acid: Azo-PAA) film to alkyl-amine vapor prior to photo-alignment. In this study, we have investigated the relationships between the alkyl-amine vapor treatment time, the swelling ratio of Azo-PAA films, and the photo-induced in-plane anisotropy. We found that: the Azo-PAA film swells on exposure to alkyl-amine vapor, and the swelling finally saturates; and the photo-induced in-plane anisotropy is correlated very closely with the swelling ratio. Monosaccharides are added to the hydrophilic face of a self‐assembled asymmetric FeII metallohelix, using CuAAC chemistry. The sixteen resulting architectures are water‐stable and optically pure, and exhibit improved antiproliferative selectivity against colon cancer cells (HCT116 p53+/+) with respect to the non‐cancerous ARPE‐19 cell line. While the most selective compound is a glucose‐appended enantiomer, its cellular entry is not mainly glucose transporter‐mediated. Glucose conjugation nevertheless increases nuclear delivery ca 2.5‐fold, and a non‐destructive interaction with DNA is indicated. Addition of the glucose units affects the binding orientation of the metallohelix to naked DNA, but does not substantially alter the overall affinity. In a mouse model, the glucose conjugated compound was far better tolerated, and tumour growth delays for the parent compound (2.6 d) were improved to 4.3 d; performance as good as cisplatin but with the advantage of no weight loss in the subjects. 相似文献

We here report glycosyl sulfoxides appended with an aryl iodide moiety as readily available, air and moisture stable precursors to glycosyl radicals. These glycosyl sulfoxides could be converted to glycosyl radicals by way of a rapid and efficient intramolecular radical substitution event. The use of this type of precursors enabled the synthesis of various complex C‐linked glycoconjugates under mild conditions. This reaction could be performed in aqueous media and is amenable to the synthesis of glycopeptidomimetics and carbohydrate‐DNA conjugates. 相似文献

Shape‐memory polymers (SMPs) are an intriguing class of smart materials possessing reversible shape change and recovery capabilities. Effective routes to shape‐memory porous films (SMPFs) are few and limited in scope owing to the difficulty in manipulating the shape change of pores by conventional methods. Herein we report an unconventional strategy for crafting light‐driven SMPFs by judiciously constructing highly ordered porous films via a facile “breath figure” approach, followed by sequential vapor crosslinking and nondestructive directional light manipulation. Micropores can thus be transformed into other shapes including rectangle, rhombus and size‐reduced micropores at room temperature. The transformed micropores can be reverted to their original shapes by either thermal annealing or UV irradiation. As such, this strategy expands the rich diversity of SMPs accessible. 相似文献

The first example of a smart crystalline material, the 2:1 cocrystal of probenecid and 4,4′‐azopyridine, which responds reversibly to multiple external stimuli (heat, UV light, and mechanical pressure) by twisting, bending, and elastic deformation without fracture is reported. This material is also able to self‐heal on heating and cooling, thereby overcoming the main setbacks of molecular crystals for future applications as crystal actuators. The photo‐ and thermomechanical effects and self‐healing capabilities of the material are rooted in reversible trans–cis isomerization of the azopyridine unit and crystal‐to‐crystal phase transition. Fairly isotropic intermolecular interactions and interlocked crisscrossed molecular packing secure high elasticity of the crystals. 相似文献

Liquid crystals are widely employed as stimuli‐responsive materials. Liquid crystallinity can be retained in polymeric form. Photoinduced mechanical effects in liquid crystalline polymer networks and elastomers have been a topic of considerable recent research. This review details the historical underpinnings and recent advances in the synthesis and the corresponding photomechanical response of these materials.
