X-ray crystallographic analysis and density functional B3LYP/6-31G(d) calculation confirm that dimeric water is embedded within a hydrophobic cavity of tetra-(p-tert-butyl)thiacalix[4]arene and stabilized by hydrogen bondings of aromatic π?H2O(1) and methyl?H2O(2) in the dimeric water inclusion complex with binding energies of 1.4 and 0.9 kcal mol−1 respectively, and by hydrogen bonding formed between H2O(2) and four phenolic OH groups from an adjacent tetra-(p-tert-butyl)thiacalix[4]arene, with binding energy of 3.8-4.2 kcal mol−1. 相似文献

C60-linked calix[5]arenes were synthesized and their intramolecular binding properties were investigated. The self-inclusion ratio of the C60 moiety was determined by using UV-vis spectroscopy, and the ratio depends on chain length, temperature, and solvent. Raman spectroscopy and Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) studies were performed on a series of V2O5/TiO2 catalysts prepared by a modified sol-gel method in order to identify the vanadium species. Two species of surface vanadium were identified by Raman measurements, monomeric vanadyls and polymeric vanadates. Monomeric vanadyls are characterized by a narrow Raman band at 1030 cm–1 and polymeric vanadates by two broad bands in the region from 900 to 960 cm–1 and 770 to 850 cm–1. The Raman spectra do not exhibit characteristic peaks of crystalline V2O5. These results are in agreement with those of X-ray Diffractometry (XRD) and Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) previously reported (C.B. Rodella et al., J. Sol-Gel Sci. Techn., submitted). At least three families of V4+ ions were identified by EPR investigations. The analysis of the EPR spectra suggests that isolated V4+ ions are located in sites with octahedral symmetry substituting for Ti4+ ions in the rutile structure. Magnetically interacting V4+ ions are also present as pairs or clusters giving rise to a broad and structureless EPR line. At higher concentration of V2O5, a partial oxidation of V4+ to V5+ is apparent from the EPR results. 相似文献

The synergistic solvent extraction of five selected lanthanoid ions (La3+, Nd3+, Eu3+, Ho3+ and Lu3+) with a 4-benzoyl-3-methyl-1-phenyl-5-pyrazolone(HP) and the 5,11,17,23-tert-butyl-25,26,27,28-tetrakis(dimethylphosphinoylmethoxy)calix[4]arene, (S) in CHCl3 has been studied. It was found that in presence of this phosphorus-containing calix[4]arene the lanthanoids have been extracted
as LnP3 · S. On the basis of the experimental data, the values of the equilibrium constants have been calculated. The influence of
the synergistic agent on the extraction process has been discussed. A synergistic effect of almost three orders of magnitude
occurs in the extraction of Ln(III) with mixture of HP and S. The values of the separation factors (S.F.) between the adjacent
elements have been evaluated.
On the basis of the IR and NMR spectra the stoichiometry and the structure of the solid complexes of Eu(III) with HP and Eu(III)

Recent studies of the perturbation-dependent basis sets have indicated the possibility of a significant reduction of the size
of the usual CGTO sets without considerable loss of accuracy in calculations of molecular electric properties. The resulting
(ZPolX) basis sets have been developed for several atoms of the first and second row of the Periodic Table. The same method
of the ZPolX basis set generation is extended for the first-row transition metals and the corresponding contracted ZPolX basis
sets of the size [6s5p3d1f] are determined for both nonrelativistic and scalar relativistic calculations. The performance
of the ZPolX basis sets is verified in calculations on the first-row transition metal oxides at the level of the ROHF, ROHF/CASPT2,

New Oxides with the “Butterfly-Motive”: Rb6[Fe2O5] and K6[Fe2O5] Rb6[Fe2O5] and K6[Fe2O5] were obtained for the first time by annealing intimate mixtures of “Rb6CdO4” with CdO (molar ratio 1 : 1.1) and KO0.48 with CdO (molar ratio 5.9 : 1) respectively in closed Fe-cylinders. Determination and refinement of the crystalstructure confirms the space group C2/m (four-circle-diffractometer data). Rb6[Fe2O5]: Ag Kα , 720 out of 1220 Io(hkl), R = 9.68%, Rw = 6.09%; a = 718.9pm, b = 1183.1 pm, c = 695.4pm, β = 95.05°, Z = 2; K6[Fe2O5]: MoKα , 1214 Out of 12141o(hkl), R = 3.20070, Rw = 2.48%, a = 691.21 pm, b = 1142.78pm, c = 665.50pm, β = 93.82°, Z = 2. The binuclear unit [O2FeOFeO2]6? already known to be planar with oxoferrates(II) now was observed to be angular here and closely related to Na6[Be2O5]. 相似文献

A new chemosensor with a phenanthroimidazole subunit based upon calix[4]arene-diamide has been synthesized, and its Mg2+-selective fluoroionophoric properties were investigated in an aqueous DMSO solution. The compound exhibited a pronounced Mg2+-selective fluoroionophoric behavior over other physiologically relevant metal ions. Eight novel calix[6]arene-based biomimetic ligands for transition metal ions have been synthesized. They display a non-symmetrical N3, N4 or N3ArO binding core that mimics enzyme active sites presenting histidine and tyrosine residues. The key step for their synthesis is the mono-alkylation at the small rim of the C3v symmetrical trimethyl ether derivative of tBu-calix[6]arene with N-Boc-2-chloroethylamine to yield a novel calix[6]arene synthon. Its combined O-alkylation with a chloromethyl aromatic amine and N-deprotection or alkylation or reductive alkylation with a salicylaldehyde derivative yielded the calix[6]arene-based ligands with mixed N/O donors. 相似文献
