The properties of thermoresponsive poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAAm) hydrogel in tetrahydrofuran/H2O mixtures were studied. Scanning electron microscopic (SEM) images demonstrate that the hydrogel changes from homogeneous to heterogeneous microstructure upon the addition of tetrahydrofuran to water. This heterogeneous PNIPAAm hydrogel in the mixture solvent exhibits a very slow response rate at temperatures above its lower critical solution temperature. The decreased response rate is attributed to the formation of special ternary complexes including the polymer and the two solvents in the tetrahydrofuran/H2O mixture. Factors controlling the thermoresponse rate are discussed further and several suggestions are provided for designing and developing fast-response PNIPAAm hydrogels in the future.  相似文献

Peptide metallation with Cu2+ was explored in the negative ESI mode using an ion trap mass spectrometer. Under these conditions, the [(M-3H) + CuII]- species formed were investigated under low-energy collision-induced dissociation conditions. MS2 experiments indicate a very different behavior of CuII metallated complexes compared with [M-H]- species. CuII induces an easy loss of CO2 and specific side-chain cleavages (by radical losses) at the C-terminal residue, as observed previously by prompt 'in source' dissociation experiments. The loss of CO2 yields an unstable carbylide that leads to further dissociations involving the migration of a proton or a hydrogen radical (through the reduction of CuII). Multistage MS3 experiments were carried out to rationalize this behavior. Fragmentation pathways are proposed in order to explain the product ions observed. The side-chain radical loss at the C-terminus was demonstrated to be a consecutive process. Finally, evidence is provided that the specific side-chain cleavages can be used for the differentiation of Leu/Ile and Gln/Lys residues when they are located at the C-terminus. The existence of a zwitterionic form in the case of the anionic YGGFK-CuII complex is proposed.  相似文献

An experimental mixture design was applied to a differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) study performed to evaluate naproxen compatibility in tablet formulations consisting of four classic excipients (sorbitol, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, poly(ethylene glycol) 20000 and Veegum) each in adequate concentration ranges accounting for the relevant values actually used in pharmaceutical formulations. Twenty-seven different tablets were obtained from as many mixtures prepared according to the experimental design plan and analyzed in a random order by DSC. Statistical evaluation of experimental data enabled correlation of both enthalpy and onset temperature variations of drug melting endotherm (selected as responses indicative of the presence of drug-excipient interactions) with the mixture composition. Variance analysis (Anova) confirmed the reliability of the postulated polynomial model in providing adequate prediction of true system behaviour. Whenp-toluidine is added to an aqueous solution of CTAB, a remarkable increase of viscosity is accompanied by a spectacular elasticity. We detected the existence of extremely elongated rod-like micelles in electron micrographs. SAXS measurements indicate a closely packed array of cylindrical rod-like micelles, brought about when solutions flow through a thin capillary. A scattering maximum ofd=160 Å almost corresponds to the distance between the nearest neighbours of the cylindrical rod-like micelles. This value agrees with the diameter measured on electron micrographs. The second broad peak (d=75 Å) is assigned to a subsidiary maximum of the shape function of the cylinder with infinite length.  相似文献

The self-diffusion coefficients of HDO and some surfactants in aqueous mixtures at different concentrations, below the critical micelle concentration, have been determined by means of the NMR, spin-echo pulsed field gradient method. The surfactant solutes chosen were ethylene glycol-pentyl alcohol (diethylene glycolpentylalcohol, ethylene glycol-hexyalcohol, diethylene glycol-hexyl alcohol, triethylene glycol-hexyl alcohol, tetraethylene glycol-hexyl alcohol, pentaethylene glycol-hexyl alcohol). The interactions in solution are studied by analyzing the solute self-diffusion coefficients extrapolated to infinite dilution. These values are compared with those of 1-alkanols. The slope of the self diffusion coefficientsvs. the solute concentration are correlated with the microscopic friction coefficients. A model for interpreting the experimental data is suggested.  相似文献

By the orthogonal design, the optimal formation conditions for the middle-phase microemulsions in the system dioctadecyldimethylammonium chloride (DODMAC)/ sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS)/n-butanol/n-hep-tane/brine were obtained as follows: WDODMAC: WSDS = 1:4-1:5,C π-butanol (%) = 11.0-12.0, andC NaCl (%) = 3.25 Investigations have been made on the effects of the concentrations of NaCl and n-butanol (l.0%-14.0%), the ratios ofWDODMAC: to WSDS, and the kinds of alcohols (n-propanol, n-butanol, and n-pentanol) on the formation, the phase behaviour, the ultralow interfacial tensions, the optimal salinity (S*), and the length of salinity (δS). Some rules and data were worked out about the formation and characteristics of the middle-phase microemulsions. The mi-crostructures of the middle-phase microemulsions were also studied by using FT-IR, ESR, and freeze fracture electron microscopy techniques. The results from the three methods show that the microstructures of the middlephase mi-croemulsions undergo the change from O/W to bicontinuous (B.C.) and to W/O. The distribution rule of the orga-nized molecule assemblies in the middle-phase microemulsions is conducible to constructing the model of microemulsion systems, to recognizing the microstructures of the middle-phase microemulsions, and to setting forth the relationship between the microstructures and macro-properties of rnicroemulsions. Dielectric constant (ε’) and dielectric loss (ε") of n-propyl alcohol (PA), ethylenediamine (EDA) and their binary mixtures, for different mole fractions of ethylenediamine have been experimentally measured at 11.15 GHz microwave frequency. Values of density (ρ), viscosity (η) and square refractive index (n D 2 ) of binary mixtures as well as those of pure liquids are reported. Excess square refractive index, viscosity and activation energy of viscous flow have also been estimated. These parameters have been used to explain the formation of complexes in the system.  相似文献

在室温下,于pH 2.5的Britton-Robinson缓冲溶液中及非离子表面活性剂OP存在下,牛血清白蛋白(BSA)与偶氮胂-DBS的复合物的最大吸收在514 nm波长处,但显色复合物与试剂空白吸光度之差在370 nm处最大,选择在370 nm处测定,反应迅速完成。非离子表面活性剂OP可提高反应灵敏度及复合物稳定性。乙醇可提高体系灵敏度。BSA的质量范围在0~60.0 mg.L-1范围内符合比耳定律,方法表观摩尔吸光率3ε70 nm=8.58×105L.mol-1.cm-1。方法用于测定血清样品中蛋白质的总量,5次测定值的RSD为0.60%,回收率为98.0%。  相似文献

The reaction ofn-hexylamine withO-alkylO-4-nitrophenyl chloromethylphosphonates in toluene solutions of poly(ethylene glycol)-600 monolaurate (PM) has been studied by spectrophotometry. The reverse micelles of the nonionic surfactant increase more than tenfold the observed rate constant of aminolysis. The catalytic activity of the surfactant is practically independent of the alkyl radical length of phosphonate. An increase in the concentration of amine results in a decrease in the catalytic efficiency. The character of the dependence of the rate constant on the concentration of PM is affected by the alkyl chain length of the substrate. Translated fromIzvestiya Akademii Nauk.
