A numerical study on the dynamic response of a mechanical system composed of two coaxial cylinders in relative rotation and unilateral contact with Coulomb friction is presented. This discussion complements the semi-analytical results on stick–slip waves given in Moirot, Nguyen, C. R. Acad. Sci. Paris Sér. IIb 328 (2000) 663–669, by some numerical simulations on the dynamic transition of the system from a given initial state to a surface wave. The case of stick–slip–separation waves is considered. We propose a way for determining the generalized coefficients of rigidity – some of which are membrane/bending coupling coefficients – which appear in the deformation energy of the Koiter model of thin shells. This is concerned with a heterogeneous material in the thickness direction. A new program to compute these coefficients is implemented in the finite element code Modulef, in order to simulate problems of thin multilayered shells with linearly elastic anisotropic layers. A method improving the evaluation of the stress intensity factor by hybridization of two weight functions is presented and applied to embedded elliptical cracks under various loadings. The hybridization consists in using one or the other function in the zone of the crack where it is the most efficient. The delimitation of the two zones is achieved after optimizing the axes ratio and the curvature radius of the crack. During this optimization we seek to reduce the effects of the singularities present in the weight functions as well as to take better into account the influence of the ellipse curvature. 本文介绍了床面固体颗粒随水流绕过圆柱体时,将在圆柱周围的床面上形成一个无粒子运动区的试验现象。水槽试验结果表明,当固体颗粒的粒径减小时,无粒子区的范围将增大;无粒子区的范围随圆柱直径的增大而增大;水流条件的变化直接影响着床面固体颗粒的运动情况,同无粒子区的形成、消失及范围大小有密切的关系。根据试验资料,结合量纲分析,建立了无粒子区的无量纲经验关系式  相似文献

The field equations governing the propagation of waves in an incompressible liquid-saturated porous medium are investigated and a general solution is presented. It has been revealed that coupled longitudinal and transverse waves propagate in the porous medium. The propagation of transverse waves in the fluid phase is completely due to the interaction between the solid and fluid phases. The dispersion relationship and attenuation features are discussed. Unlike other investigations, all explicit forms of the arguments are derived. The reflection of the plane harmonic waves at the plane, traction-free boundary, which shows the influence of the dissipation on the velocity, and the attenuation coefficients of the reflected waves is studied. It is of interest that pore pressure is produced in the process of reflection, even in the case of the incidence of transverse waves.  相似文献

In this Note we present a justification of the kinematic assumptions for thin-walled rods with shallow profile. These assumptions are fundamental to writing the one-dimensional equilibrium equations for such structures. The obtained kinematics are different from the Vlassov case, which is only valid for strongly curved profiles. They are also different from the that classically used in shell theory. After recalling the constitutive equations of finite strain poroelasticity formulated at the macroscopic level, we adopt a microscopic point of view which consists of describing the fluid-saturated porous medium at a space scale on which the fluid and solid phases are geometrically distinct. The constitutive equations of poroelasticity are recovered from the analysis conducted on a representative elementary volume of porous material open to fluid mass exchange. The procedure relies upon the solution of a boundary value problem defined on the solid domain of the representative volume undergoing large elastic strains. The macroscopic potential, computed as the integral of the free energy density over the solid domain, is shown to depend on the macroscopic deformation gradient and the porous space volume as relevant variables. The corresponding stress-type variables obtained through the differentiation of this potential turn out to be the macroscopic Boussinesq stress tensor and the pore pressure. Furthermore, such a procedure makes it possible to establish the necessary and sufficient conditions to ensure the validity of an ‘effective stress’ formulation of the constitutive equations of finite strain poroelasticity. Such conditions are notably satisfied in the important case of an incompressible solid matrix.  相似文献

The non-singular and bounded terms for stresses near the crack tip were investigated. The crack problem in a transversely isotropic piezoelectric solid for the plane problem was dealt with. The principle of superposition and the Plemelj formulation were introduced. The non-singular terms are given by solving Rieman-Hilbert problem.
