A simplified integral equation for adsorption of gas mixtures on heterogeneous surfaces

Summary The multiple integral representing the overall isotherm for adsorption of gas mixtures on heterogeneous surfaces is transformed to a single integral, which is promising for predicting the mixed-gas adsorption by means of single-gas adsorption parameters. This transformation is possible when the adsorption energies of components for various adsorption sites show a certain type of correlation.

Eine vereinfachte Integralgleichung für die Adsorption von Gasmischungen auf heterogenen Oberflächen

Zusammenfassung Das multiple Integral, das die Adsorption von Gasmischungen auf heterogenen Oberflächen darstellt, wurde zu einem einfachen Integral transformiert, das zur Voraussage der Adsorption von Gasgemischen mittels der Einzelgas-Adsorptionsparameter geeignet sein sollte. Diese Transformation ist dann möglich, wenn die Adsorptionsenergien der Komponenten einem bestimmten Korrelationstyp angehören.

     

Calorimetric investigation of the adsorption of binary vapour mixtures of tetrahydropyrrol with methanol and cyclopentane on the homogeneous surface

Adsorption isotherms and differential heats of adsorption of tetrahydropyrrol (THP) and cyclopentane CP), as well as THP and methanol mixtures (mole ratio 1∶1, 1∶2 and 1∶4) on the graphitized carbon black Sterling MT surface were determined. The influence of dilution of [THP] on its ability to undergo homomolecular association was tested. Even 1∶4 dilution of THP does not prevent is association. Methanol strongly interacts with THP in the mixed adsorbed layer forming heteromolecular associates.     

铟(Ⅲ)-7-(1-苯偶氮)-8-羟基喹啉-5-磺酸钠的配位吸附波及其应用

在ｐＨ４．５的 ０．０１５ ｍｏｌ／Ｌ ＨＡｃ－ＮａＡｃ介质中，Ｉｎ铟（Ⅲ）－７－（１－苯偶氮）－８－羟基喹啉－５－磺酸钠（ＢＱ）在滴汞电极上于－０．６６５－０．７０ Ｖ（ｖｓ．ＳＣＥ）电位处得到络合物的吸附还原波，其一阶导数峰电流Ｉ＇ｐ与Ｉｎ（Ⅲ）浓度在４．０× １０~（－８）～３．５ × １０~（－６）ｍｏｌ／Ｌ范围内呈良好的线性关系，检测限为１．６ × １０~（－８）ｍｏｌ／Ｌ Ｉｎ（Ⅲ）．应用该法测定了铅粉和氢氧化铝样品中的微量铟，结果令人满意。对电极反应机理进行了探讨。     

6-氨基青霉烷酸在弱碱性阴离子树脂IRA67上的吸附研究

用静态法研究了6-氨基青霉烷酸在弱碱性阴离子交换树脂IRA67上的吸附行为．在溶液pH为8．0，6-APA起始浓度介子3.00mg／m1-20．00mg／ml条件下，测定了25℃时IRA67树脂的静态交换动力学曲线、吸附等温线，并求得了IRA67树脂的平衡速率常数及吸附等温线方程．分别用Langmuir型和Frendlich型方程对IRA67树脂吸附等温线进行线性回归拟合，结果表明，6-APA在IRA67树脂上的吸附更符合Langmuir型吸附．     

Synthesis and Adsorption Property of Two Polymeric Adsorbents with Pendent Ether Bonds

Two polymeric adsorbents, poly(methyl p-vinylbenzvl ether) and oolv(ohenvl p-vinylbenzyl ether), were synthesized from chloromethylated polystyrene, Their adsorptionproperty for phenol in hexane solution was investigated. The results showed that the twoadsorbents adsorb phenol from hexane solution through hydrogen-bonding and π-π stacking interaction.     

Adsorption of Pd, Ni, and Cu ions on anode-oxidized carbon fiber materials

The anodic oxidation of the carbon felt Carbonetcalon results in the formation of surface defects which serve as centers of strong adsorption of Pd^II, Ni^II, and Cu^II ions. The electrochemical reduction of adsorbed ions makes it possible to obtain metallic catalysts, which undergo multiple redox cycles without loss of metal. The catalysts are characterized by high dispersity of the reduced phase, high adsorption capacity with respect to hydrogen, and 100% selectivity in hydrogenation of acetophenone. Determining moisture absorption/desorption properties of commercial membranes by thermogravimetry (TG)

A series of different commercial membranes were characterized by their moisture absorption and desorption properties under controlled humidity and temperature conditions. This work was made possible by combining the features of a constant humidity conditioning chamber with those of a thermogravimetric (TG) apparatus. These two modules were interconnected by tubing, rotameters, an atmosphere-recycling microbellows pump and switching valves. Under programmed heating and isothermal conditions reproducible data were obtained in terms of weight-gain or weight-lossvs. time and pore size. Evaluation of the resulting TG curves allowed us to report reasonable differences in the materials, some of which had been previously surface-modified by the manufacturer.     

丙烯酸Fe3+型树脂在非水介质中对鞣酸的配位吸附及洗脱性能

将Fe3 载于丙烯酸树脂上,制备了在非水介质中对鞣酸具有良好吸附性能的配位吸附树脂.在甲醇中,树脂对鞣酸的吸附符合Langmuir单分子层吸附模型,静态饱和吸附量为34mg/g,吸附为粒扩散控制过程.动态吸附中,树脂对鞣酸的泄漏吸附量为25mg/g,饱和吸附量32mg/g.采用5%的甲胺乙醇溶液作洗脱剂,洗脱率95%.树脂在吸附及洗脱过程中未见Fe3 脱落.     

CuO/γ-Al2O3单分散催化剂的XAFS研究

采用XAFS方法研究浸渍法制备并于低温焙烧的CuO/γ-Al2O3催化剂的局域结构.对于CuO负载量小于单层分散阈值的CuO/γ-Al2O3(0.4mmol/100m2),结果表明,CuO物种是以层状分散的孤立原子簇存在于γ-Al2O3载体表面,其第一近邻Cu-O配位环境的结构与晶态CuO的相似,键长和配位数分别为0.195nm和4.对于CuO负载量等于单层分散阈值的CuO/γ-Al2O3(0.8mmol/100m2),已有少量的CuO纳米颗粒生成.对于CuO负载量大于单层分散阈值的CuO/γ-Al2O3(1.2mmol/100m2),其结构与多晶CuO的相近.基于CuO在γ-Al2O3载体上的三种不同分散状态的结构特点,我们提出了CuO/γ-Al2O3催化剂的结构模型.     

Gas chromatography of halogenated adamantanes

The main thermodynamic characteristics of the adsorption of haloadamantanes on graphitized thermal carbon black were determined by experimental measurements and by calculations in terms of molecular-statistic theory of adsorption. Using experimental data, the Kovac retention indices were calculated and the optimum conditions for gas-chromatographic separation of haloadamantanes on stationary phases with different polarity were elucidated. The influence of the cage effect in the adamantane unit on the chromatographic properties of haloadamantanes was established.
