An efficient and versatile tandem process of acetalization and cycloisomerization reactions has been developed for the reactions of 1-alkynyl-2-carbonylquinoline substrates. The reaction occurs thanks to Au(I) and Ag(I) catalysis. Silver(I) catalysis has been extensively studied (11 different silver species) on a broad range of quinoline derivatives (variation of alkyne substituent, of carbonyl function and of nucleophiles), leading to a variety of furoquinoline and pyranoquinoline moieties. An insight is given for the presumed mechanism along with DFT-B3 LYP/6-31G** calculations to address the 6-endo and 5-exo regioselectivities observed.  相似文献

A kinetic study was carried out on the acetalization reaction of 1,3-butanediol, as a model compound for poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA), in water, under acidic conditions. Since these equilibrium constants of ketalization reaction of 1,3-butanediol and ethylene glycol are so small, the kinetic parameters were estimated from the hydrolysis reactions of the corresponding ketals. It was made clear that these reactions proceed in the reversible bimolecular reaction, and the heat of reaction and activation energy are nearly equal to that of PVA. The rate constants of hydrolysis reaction (k′s) of model compounds were calculated on the basis of value of acetone ketal, Hammett-Taft's equation log k′s/k′so – 0.54(n – 6) = ρ*σ* was established, and the value of ρ* was obtained (3.60), which coincided with the value of PVA. Therefore, it was made clear that the hydrolysis reactions of acetals and ketals are electrophilic reaction (SE II reaction) and the step of rate determination is the formation of hemiacetal and hemiketal. The rate constants of hydrolysis reaction of 1,3-butanediol acetals and ketals were approximately 10–20 larger, and those of ethylene glycol were approximetly 50–80 larger except for ketals, and those of ethanol were roughly 2000–10,000 larger compared with that of high-molecular weight compound (PVA). It can be well explained that these differences in the rate constant depend on their entropy and the mobility of molecules. © 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Reaction of α,β‐unsaturated ketones with cerium(IV) salts or lanthanide triflates in alcohols gave good yields of the corresponding β‐alkoxy compounds. In the case of 2‐cyclopentenone and 2‐cyclohexenone, the 1,1,3‐trialkoxy acetal derivatives were obtained preferentially accompanied by β‐alkoxyketone, except 2‐cycloheptenone. However, in the reaction of 2‐cycloheptenone with alcohol using cerium(IV) sulfate (CS)‐molecular sieve, 1,1,3‐trialkoxy derivatives were obtained. Also, in the cases of 1‐penten‐3‐one, 4‐hexen‐3‐one and 3‐hepten‐2‐one, 1,1,3‐trialkoxy derivatives were obtained preferentially. Copyright © 2006 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The most crucial and demanding universal issue lies in the enrichment of sustainable drive technology. As traditional resource, petrochemical becomes increasingly scarce in the future; mankind must turn to renewable alternatives to yield liquefied fuels and valuable commodities through sustainable process. It has been reported that furan compounds serve as an excellent platform molecule derived from defatted rice bran. The current work aims at the synthesis of copper ferrite nano catalyst by microwave assisted solution incineration approach. The catalytic properties stood verified by X-ray diffraction, SEM, EDAX and BET techniques. The catalytic performance of the copper ferrite catalyst were reinforced through in-situ microwave assisted acetalization reaction of furfural with discrete solvents like methanol, ethanol, and 1-propanol at optimum reaction conditions for the preparation of wide range of commodity chemicals such as carboxylic acids, alkyl esters, di alkyl acetals, di ketones which are of commercial importance. The comparative study of relative yield of the products with different solvents is reported. The formation of the value-added products were confirmed by GC-MS, FT-IR technique. The catalysts from the reaction mixture are recovered by magnetic field.  相似文献

通过对双齿膦配体的单P原子定向甲基化,合成了两种离子型"叔膦-季鏻鎓Lewis酸"双功能配体L2和L3,该类双功能配体分子结构中既含有与过渡金属配位的叔膦基团,又含有具Lewis酸的季鏻鎓基团.研究结果表明,在合成气的体积比(CO/H2)为4∶1时,双功能配体L2修饰的[Ir(COD)Cl]2催化剂高效催化烯烃的"氢甲酰化-缩醛化"串联反应,1-辛烯的转化率为98%,缩醛的选择性高达86%,其催化活性好于同等条件下的Rh催化剂.双功能配体L2与[Ir(COD)Cl]2原位构建的共催化体系的催化效果远优于Ir(I)配合物和季鏻鎓Lewis酸的物理混合;同时还表现出较好的底物普适性.此外,由于双功能配体L2的高极性,其修饰的Ir催化剂可以顺利实现与正己烷溶液的分离,从而实现催化剂的回收循环使用.  相似文献

The kninetics of acid-catalyzed acetalization and ketalization of poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) were systematically studied in completely homogeneous media with carefully selected solvents. Thus the acetalization reaction was run in water with six aldehydes [R1CHO (R1 = H, CH3, C2H5, n-C3H7, i-C3H7, ClCH2)], whereas the ketalization in dimethylslfoxide with 11 ketones [R2CH3CO (R2 = CH3, C2H5, n-C3H7, i-C3H7, n-C4H9, i-C4H9, tert-C4H9, C6H5CH2, C6H5CH2CH2), cyclopentanone, and cyclohexanone]. The latter was difficult to proceed in aqueous media. Both reactions were reversible and bimolecular and, despite the use of different solvents, gave similar heats of reaction (7.5 kcal/mol) and activation energies (ca. 15 kcal/mol) except for the case of formaldehyde and chloroacetaldehyde; however the equilibrium constants at 25°C showed that the acetalization is thermodynamically much more favored than the ketalization (ca. 5000 vs. 0.01–0.9), probably because of steric hindrance of the ketone substrate. The rate constants of hydrolysis (reverse reactions) for the poly(vinyl acetal) and poly(vinyl ketal) followed the Hammett-Taft equation to give a single p* (=3.60) that is very close to that for the hydrolysis of diethyl acetal and ketal. From these and other data, it was concluded that the polymer hydrolysis, as well as PVA acetalization and ketalization, are all electrophilic reaction where the formation of hemiacetal or hemiketal is the rate-determining step. © 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

Abstract

The disaccharide 2-aminoethyl O-β-D-galactopyranosyl-(1→3)-2-acetamido-2-deoxy-β-D-glucopyranoside was reacted with thiobutyrolactone to give a disaccharide with a thiol group on the aglycone. This disaccharide was reacted with activated Thiopropyl Sepharose, which gave a disaccharide bound to Sepharose via a disulphide bond. Enzymatic fucosylation, using GDP-fucose and partially purified human milk fucosyltransferase, gave a trisaccharide in good yield, which was cleaved from Sepharose by treatment with mercaptoethanol or dithiothreitol.  相似文献

A mesostructured silica/organic composite 1-MS, constructed from a rodlike micelle of amino acid amphiphile 1 that has a condensable head group and that can be used as a template, was found to be able to catalyze the acetalization of cyclohexanone, in ethanol at 25 degrees C (50% in 12 h), whereas no reaction took place with unfunctionalized mesoporous silica. In sharp contrast, hydrolytic removal of the C16 alkyl tail of immobilized 1 resulted in the complete disappearance of the catalytic activity, which suggests the importance of a hydrophobic inner domain for the admission of cyclohexanone. Unsupported peptide amphiphile 2, under identical conditions to those above, was inefficient for acetalization regardless of the absence (2% in 24 h) or presence of mesoporous silica (7% in 24 h). Reference composite 2-MS, which is a noncovalently immobilized peptidic micelle, was virtually inactive (1% in 24 h). These observations indicate the importance of covalent immobilization of the peptidic rod micelle for catalysis. Mesostructured silicate 3-MS hybridized with a nonpeptidic, ammonium ion amphiphile (3) showed a certain catalytic activity, but the yield (12% in 24 h) of the acetal was much lower than that achieved by using 1-MS as the catalyst. Amorphous silica with immobilized 1 on its surface was much less active than 1-MS for acetalization (5% in 24 h).  相似文献
