A Strong Maximum Principle for parabolic equations with the p-Laplacian

We prove the Strong Maximum Principle (SMP) under suitable assumptions for a class of quasilinear parabolic problems with the p  -Laplacian, p>1$p>1$, on bounded cylindrical domains of R^N+1${\mathbb{R}}^{N+1}$,

_∂tu−_Δpu−λ|u|^p−2u≥0,${\partial }_{t}u-{\mathrm{\Delta }}_{p}u-\lambda {|u|}^{p-2}u\ge 0,$

with nonnegative initial–boundary conditions and λ≤0$\lambda \le 0$, and we give some counterexamples to the SMP if some of our assumptions are violated. We show that the Hopf Maximum Principle holds for 1<p<2$1<p<2$, and give a counterexample to it for p>2$p>2$. Also the Weak Maximum Principle for λ≤_λ1$\lambda \le {\lambda }_1$ is established.

On the Uniqueness Theorem for Generalized Solutions of Initial-Boundary Problems for the Marguerre—Vlasov Vibrations of Shallow Shells with Clamped Boundary Conditions

The uniqueness theorem for generalized solutions of initial-boundary problems for the Marguerre—Vlasov vibrations of shallow shells with clamped boundary conditions is proved. A unique method developed by the author, based upon a nonstandard treatment of smoothing operators, is applied instead of using an enclosure theorem at the critical values of indices. Local convergence results of Gauss-Newton's like method in weak conditions

In this paper, we study the convergence of Gauss-Newton's like method for nonlinear least squares problems. Under the hypothesis that derivative satisfies some kind of weak Lipschitz condition, we obtain the sharp estimates of the radii of convergence ball of Gauss-Newton's like method and the uniqueness ball of the solution.     

四阶差分方程在多点边值条件下解的存在性

运用Schauder不动点定理,考察了边值问题Δ4u(k-1)=g(k,u(k-1),u(k),u(k 1),u(k 2)),k∈Z(1,N)u(0)=A,u(N 1)=B,u(N 2)=C,u(N 3)=D解的存在性.     

涉及小函数的亚纯函数

是否可以将第二基本定理的一般形式中常数替换为小函数,这一直是人们试图解决的重大问题.该文研究了涉及小函数的第二基本定理的推广问题, 并利用主要结果得到了几个惟一性定理, 改进了张庆德, Toda N和姚卫红等人的有关定理.

利用以极大函数表示的有关Sobolev函数的逐点不等式来构造全局的Lipschitz型检验函数,得到了,在一定条件下,拟线性椭圆方程-div A(x,u,Du)=f(x)在grand Sobolev空间W_0~(θ,p)(Ω)中的很弱解是唯一的．
