On the Solution of Discontinuous IVPs by Adaptive Runge–Kutta Codes

In this paper an automatic technique for handling discontinuous IVPs when they are solved by means of adaptive Runge–Kutta codes is proposed. This technique detects, accurately locates and passes the discontinuities in the solution of IVPs by using the information generated by the code along the numerical integration together with a continuous interpolant of the discrete solution. A remarkable feature is that it does not require additional information on the location of the discontinuities. Some numerical experiments are presented to illustrate the reliability and efficiency of the proposed algorithms.     

淋洗液发生器离子色谱抑制电导法测定甜味剂

采用淋洗液发生器阴离子交换-抑制电导检测法,同时分离和检测阿思巴甜、甜蜜素、安赛蜜和糖精4种常见的甜味剂.由于采用了淋洗液发生器,使背景电导大大降低,可以实现甜味剂的高灵敏度检测和分离.该方法具有良好的重现性、线性关系和较低的检测限.阿思巴甜、甜蜜素、安赛蜜和糖精的检测限分别是:1.27、0.045、0.033、0.063 mg/L;样品测定的回收率分别为99.7%、102.8%、98.6%、103.5%.     

Morphology and spectral properties of thin films of benzoxazole derivatives of biphenyl

We have studied the spectral properties and morphology of thin films (TVD films) formed by thermal vacuum deposition of 4,4′-bis[(E)-1-(1,3-benzoxazol-2-yl)-2-ethenyl]-1,1′-biphenyl and its substituted derivatives. We have shown that introducing bulky 2,2′-oxyhexyl substituents into the biphenyl units leads to a shift of the fluorescence maximum for the TVD films toward shorter wavelengths, a decrease in their photostability, and aggregation of the films during storage. __________ Translated from Zhurnal Prikladnoi Spektroskopii, Vol. 74, No. 3, pp. 300–303, May–June, 2007.     

紫外可调谐辐射的波长自动跟踪研究

脉冲染料激光器的可见光波段辐射通过共线倍频和非共线混频实现紫外波段的连续可调谐输出.本文报道了一种闭环跟踪方法;在调谐起始波长处,将取样光束在垂直相位匹配方向分割成等光强的两部分,然后在波长调谐时比较和平衡这两部分光强.对该方法在理论上作了分析并在实验中得到成功的验证.获得的自动跟踪效率大于90%.     

A Pseudo-Random Frequency Modulation Continuous Wave Coherent Lidar Using an Optical Field Correlation Detection Method

We propose a new detection method for a pseudo-random frequency modulation continuous wave (RM-CW) coherent lidar. The feature of this method is modulation of local beam with a time delayed pseudo-random sequence. Heterodyne detection and correlation detection between the received beam and the local beam are simultaneously carried out in an optical field. In the RM-CW coherent lidar using the optical field correlation detection method, the received equipment is greatly simplified. We carried out preliminary experiments and demonstrated that the new method is effective for detection of a CW coherent lidar.     

Structural and spectroscopic studies of silylated cyclo- and bicyclosilanes

A number of cyclo-and bicyclosilanes have been prepared and structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography and Raman spectroscopy. 1,1,4,4- and 1,1,3,3-tetrakis(trimethylsilyl)octamethylcyclohexasilanes were found to exhibit unusual twist- and twisted boat-conformations. The UV absorption properties of all compounds were studied and found to show absorption maxima red shifted compared to the parent compound dodecamethylcyclohexasilane. Dedicated to Prof. Mitsuo Kira on the occasion of his reception of the Wacker Silicon Award 2005 and in recongnition of his numerous outstanding achievements in organosilicon chemistry.     

早期火灾图像监测技术的应用与比较

本文对可提供图像信息的火灾物理现象进行了具体分析，讨论了利用摄像技术进行早期火灾探测的可能性、使用条件以及图像监测技术在火灾探测中的地位和作用，进行了若干种图像监测技术的对比实验，得出了相应的结论。     

显微镜产品质量光电检测的研究

显微镜产品质量光电检测的实施是光、机、光电、计算机技术的综合运用。本文是笔者多年来研究成果总结，包括了已研制出的ＸＪ－１型生物显微镜多功能光电质检仪及其改进；对显微镜离焦性能检测的探索，共可实现显微镜产品质量七个考核项目的检测与等级分拣。这些成果给显微镜行业提供了先进的检测工具；同时为发展我国显微镜产品检测技术、提高检测水平起积极的促进作用。     

监测Lévy稳定过程均值变点的平均运行时间估计

平均运行长度(时间)(ARL)是判断一控制图监测变点效果好坏的一个重要工具.本文主要研究Lévy稳定过程的均值变点监测问题.我们给出了三个控制图,即EWMA,GEWMA和GLR的ARL估计,并通过数值模拟比较了4个控制图监测均值变点的效果和差异.     

Infrared detection of a planet next to a bright star

Humans have always dreamt about the possibility of existence of planets in solar systems other than our own. After flying by, dropping probes, and even landing devices on most planets within our own solar system, the search for extra-solar planet is included in every proposal to either build a larger and better earth-, space-, or moon-based telescope, or observatory facility. The preliminary analysis seems to indicate that wavelength band from 25 μm to 30 μm is most promising in solving this problem. A number of IR technological challenges are to be overcome before the actual detection system can even be considered in a detailed design. The significant technical challenges of finding a planet will be described. Then details are given on the feasibility of detecting a planet with an instrument concept designed specifically for this purpose, a space-based, rotating rotationally shearing interferometer.
