Numerical solutions of the shallow water equations with discontinuous bed topography

A simple scheme is developed for treatment of vertical bed topography in shallow water flows. The effect of the vertical step on flows is modelled with the shallow water equations including local energy loss terms. The bed elevation is denoted with z_b^‐ for the left and z_b⁺ for the right values at each grid point, hence exactly representing a discontinuity in the bed topography. The surface gradient method (SGM) is generalized to reconstruct water depths at cell interfaces involving a vertical step so that the fluxes at the cell interfaces can accurately be calculated with a Riemann solver. The scheme is verified by predicting a surge crossing a step, a tidal flow over a step and dam‐break flows on wet/dry beds. The results have shown good agreements compared with analytical solutions and available experimental data. The scheme is efficient, robust, and may be used for practical flow calculations. Numerical analysis of the spiral Couette flow of a rarefied gas between coaxial cylinders

An implicit quasi-monotone second-order accurate method is proposed for analyzing the spiral Couette flow of a rarefied gas between coaxial cylinders. The basic advantages of the method over the conventional method of stationry iterations are that the former is conservative with respect to the collision integral, has a simple software implementation for any types of boundary conditions, and applies to a wide range of Knudsen numbers.     

模糊对向传播网络数据融合目标识别方法

重点研究了模糊对向传播网络 (FCPN)模型。针对数据融合和目标识别的特点 ,提出了基于模糊对向传播网络的融合目标识别方法和改进的模糊对向传播网络 (MFCPN)融合结构。利用仿真数据对网络的训练算法和融合结构进行了实验研究。结果表明 ,模糊对向传播网络较误差后向传播网络 (BPN)能够有效地实现融合识别 ;改进的模糊对向传播网络融合结构是可行的。同时还对FCPN和MFCPN应用于前视红外 (FLIR)和可见光摄像机目标跟踪系统进行了应用研究。     

粒子-转子模型和推转壳模型中的能谱统计分析

用粒子–转子模型和推转壳模型研究了6个粒子分别填充在单j壳和双j壳上的混沌行为.分析了单j壳和双j壳情况下能谱的最近邻能级间距分布和谱刚度随自旋及推转频率的变化,结果表明,当组态空间大小不变时,系统在双j壳(g_7/2+d_5/2)情况下比在单j壳(i_13/2)情况下更规则,而当组态空间从单j壳(i_13/2)扩大到双j壳(i_13/2+g_9/2)时,系统的混沌程度变化不大.同时比较了将6个粒子的两体相互作用分别取为δ力和对力时的系统的混沌行为

The Action Functional for Moyal Planes

Modulo some natural generalizations to noncompact spaces, we show in this Letter that Moyal planes are nonunital spectral triples in the sense of Connes. The action functional of these triples is computed, and we obtain the expected result, i.e. the noncommutative Yang–Mills action associated with the Moyal product. In particular, we show that Moyal gauge theory naturally fits into the rigorous framework of noncommutative geometry.
