A number of recently discovered nucleophilic boron compounds, such as boryl anions and borylenes, are breaking the rules regarding boron and boron‐containing compounds and their reputation as Lewis acids/electrophiles. In a similar fashion, the B?H bonding pair electrons in boranes also show nucleophilicity which is ascribed to the lower electronegativity of boron relative to that of hydrogen. However, this nucleophilicity of the B?H bond has received far less attention. Explorations of the nucleophilicity of the B?H bonding pair electrons have led to the formation of B?H?B bonded units and B?H???H?Y dihydrogen bonds, based on which new chemistry has been uncovered, including the elucidation of the mechanism of formation of aminodiborane (ADB), the diammoniate of diborane (DADB), and lithium or sodium salts of octahydrotriborates (B3H8?), as well as the development of more convenient and straightforward synthetic routes to these reagents. Moreover, the recognition of the nucleophilic properties of the B?H bonding pair electrons will also help to more deeply understand the different mechanisms operating in hydroboration reactions. 相似文献

The transfer hydrogenation of N‐heterocyclic carbene (NHC)‐supported diborenes with dimethylamine borane proceeds with high selectivity for the trans‐1,2‐dihydrodiboranes. DFT calculations, supported by kinetic studies and deuteration experiments, suggest a stepwise proton‐first‐hydride‐second reaction mechanism via an intermediate μ‐hydrodiboronium dimethylaminoborate ion pair. 相似文献

Heteroaryl boronic acids and esters are extremely important and valuable intermediates because of their wide application in the synthesis of marketed drugs and bioactive compounds. Over the last couple of decades, the construction of highly important heteroaryl carbon-boron bonds has created huge attention. The transition-metal-free protocols are more green, less sensitive to air and moisture, and also economically advantageous over the transition-metal-based protocols. The transition-metal-free C−H borylation of heteroarenes and C−X (X=halogen) borylation of heteroaryl halides represents an excellent approach for their synthesis. Also, various cyclization and alkyne activation protocols have been recently established for their synthesis. The goal of this review article is to summarize the existing literature and the current state of the art for transition-metal-free synthesis of heteroaryl boronic acid and esters. 相似文献

Building upon our earlier results on the synthesis of electron‐precise transition‐metal–boron complexes, we continue to investigate the reactivity of pentaborane(9) and tetraborane(10) analogues of ruthenium and rhodium towards thiazolyl and oxazolyl ligands. Thus, mild thermolysis of nido‐[(Cp*RuH)2B3H7] ( 1 ) with 2‐mercaptobenzothiazole (2‐mbtz) and 2‐mercaptobenzoxazole (2‐mboz) led to the isolation of Cp*‐based (Cp*=η5‐C5Me5) borate complexes 5 a , b [Cp*RuBH3L] ( 5 a : L=C7H4NS2; 5 b : L=C7H4NOS)) and agostic complexes 7 a , b [Cp*RuBH2(L)2], ( 7 a : L=C7H4NS2; 7 b : L=C7H4NOS). In a similar fashion, a rhodium analogue of pentaborane(9), nido‐[(Cp*Rh)2B3H7] ( 2 ) yielded rhodaboratrane [Cp*RhBH(L)2], 10 (L=C7H4NS2). Interestingly, when the reaction was performed with an excess of 2‐mbtz, it led to the formation of the first structurally characterized N,S‐heterocyclic rhodium‐carbene complex [(Cp*Rh)(L2)(1‐benzothiazol‐2‐ylidene)] ( 11 ) (L=C7H4NS2). Furthermore, to evaluate the scope of this new route, we extended this chemistry towards the diruthenium analogue of tetraborane(10), arachno‐[(Cp*RuCO)2B2H6] ( 3 ), in which the metal center possesses different ancillary ligands. 相似文献

The aim of this study was to investigate the water vapor adsorption behavior and mechanical properties of poly (lactic acid) (PLA)/zeolite (5, 10, or 15 phr) composites prepared with triethyl citrate (TEC; 20 phr) via a melting process. TEC was used to improve the flexibility of the PLA and the dispersibility of the zeolite in TEC-zeolite suspensions that were ultra-sonicated. It was found that zeolite was uniformly dispersed in the PLA matrix, and the interfacial adhesion between the PLA matrix and zeolite was enhanced by TEC. In addition, the tensile strengths and Young's modulus of the composites improved with increasing zeolite content. The PLA/zeolite composites prepared with TEC had increased water vapor permeability and contact angles compared to neat PLA and standard PLA/zeolite due to the presence of TEC. In particular, TEC accelerated the hydrolysis of the PLA surface in a high humidity environment, resulting in an improvement in water vapor sorption capacity. At the same zeolite content of 15 phr, the equilibrium moisture content (EMC) values of PLA/zeolite films prepared with TEC increased by up to 39.25 mg/g whereas those prepared without TEC only increased by up to 24.33 mg/g. The results suggest the possibility of applying PLA/zeolite films prepared with TEC as a flexible active packaging material. 相似文献

Herein, we establish the preparation, characterization, and reactivity of a new diphosphine ligand, 1,2-bis(di(3-dicyclohexylboraneyl)propylphosphino)ethane (P2BCy4), a scaffold that contains four pendant boranes. An entryway into the coordination chemistry of P2BCy4 is established by using nickel, providing the octaboraneyl complex [Ni(P2BCy4)2]—this species contains a boron-rich secondary coordination sphere that reacts readily with Lewis bases. In the case of 4,4′-bipyridine, an air-sensitive coordination polymer is obtained. Characterization of this material by solid-state NMR and EPR spectroscopy reveals the presence of a charge-transfer polymer, which forms as a function of intramolecular Ni→4,4′-bpy electron transfer (ET), providing an array of oxidized nickel sites and reduced 4,4′-bpy radical anion sites. Notably, the related intermolecular reaction between the model fragments [Ni(dnppe)2] (dnppe=1,2-bis(di-n-propylphosphino)ethane) and a bis(boraneyl)-protected 4,4′-bpy, provides no ET. Overall, the P2BCy4 fragment provides a unique opportunity for Lewis base activation, in one case allowing for the facile construction of monomers for incorporation into redox-active macromolecules. 相似文献

A novel chiral ammonia borane was designed and developed through the dehydrogenation of ammonia borane with a chiral phosphoric acid, which was highly effective for the asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of imines and β‐enamino esters to afford high levels of reactivities and enantioselectivities. Significantly, this chiral ammonia borane can be continuously regenerated during the transfer hydrogenation with the assistance of water and ammonia borane, which made it possible to obtain satisfactory results using only 0.1 mol % of the chiral phosphoric acid. B(C6F5)3 and P(MeNCH2CH2)3N form a classical Lewis adduct, (C6F5)3BP(MeNCH2CH2)3N. Although (C6F5)3BP(MeNCH2CH2)3N does not exhibit spectroscopic evidence of dissociation into its constituent acid and base, products of frustrated Lewis pair (FLP) addition reactions are seen with PhNCO, PhCH2N3, PhNSO, and CO2. Computational studies show that thermal access to the dissociated acid and base permits FLP reactivity to proceed. These results demonstrate that FLP reactivity extends across the entire continuum of equilibria governing Lewis acid‐base adducts. 相似文献
