氮等离子体枪中电子输运行为的蒙特卡罗模拟

采用蒙特卡罗模拟,对氮等离子体枪的两个环形电极间的氮气辉光放电过程中电子的输运过程进行研究.计算在不同平均电场与粒子数密度的比值(E/N)下,电子与氮分子发生不同碰撞的概率、出射电子的平均能量、方向角分布和电子的能量分布.结果表明,电子能量近似服从玻尔兹曼分布.随着E/N的升高,电子平均能量升高,发生激发、离化、电离和离化电离碰撞的概率增大;非均匀分布的电场使分子获得更高的离化率,同时显著增强出射电子的能量.模拟结果为等离子体应用设计提供了参考依据.     

Synthesis of (‐)‐herbertenediol and (aR,aS)‐mastigophorenes A via asymmetric intramolecular heck coupling reaction

Total enantioselective synthesis of the natural (‐)‐Herbertenediol (1) was accomplished in eleven steps with an overall yield of 15% starting from the 2‐methoxy‐4‐methyl‐phenol. The total synthesis features asymmetric intramolecular Heck reaction and Wolff‐Kishner‐Huang reduction. (aR, aS)‐Mastigophorenes A was also synthesized through the oxidative coupling reaction.     

Deconvolution Method for Determination of the Nitrogen Content in Cellulose Carbamates

Cellulose carbamate (CC) is a derivative of cellulose. It can be turned into synthetic fiber in high quality with the existing viscose facilities1. CC was first reported by Hill and Jacobsen2. Fast algorithm for solving the Hankel/Toeplitz Structured Total Least Squares problem

The Structured Total Least Squares (STLS) problem is a natural extension of the Total Least Squares (TLS) problem when constraints on the matrix structure need to be imposed. Similar to the ordinary TLS approach, the STLS approach can be used to determine the parameter vector of a linear model, given some noisy measurements. In many signal processing applications, the imposition of this matrix structure constraint is necessary for obtaining Maximum Likelihood (ML) estimates of the parameter vector. In this paper we consider the Toeplitz (Hankel) STLS problem (i.e., an STLS problem in which the Toeplitz (Hankel) structure needs to be preserved). A fast implementation of an algorithm for solving this frequently occurring STLS problem is proposed. The increased efficiency is obtained by exploiting the low displacement rank of the involved matrices and the sparsity of the associated generators. The fast implementation is compared to two other implementations of algorithms for solving the Toeplitz (Hankel) STLS problem. The comparison is carried out on a recently proposed speech compression scheme. The numerical results confirm the high efficiency of the newly proposed fast implementation: the straightforward implementations have a complexity of O((m+n)³) and O(m³) whereas the proposed implementation has a complexity of O(mn+n²). Total Synthesis of (±)-Isocembrene: A Tactic for Both Diene Construction and Macrocycle Formation

Abstract

The total synthesis of (±)-isocembrene 1, a naturally occurring cembrene diterpenoid, has been achieved via a unified, convergent and highly efficient strategy by imploying an intramolecular Stille sp²–sp² macrocyclization as the key step and it presents an ideal opportunity to extend the effectiveness of the tactic for both 1,3-diene construction and macrocycle formation.     

A Facile Preparation of N2-Arylisocytosines

N²-Arylisocytosines were obtained in good yields varying from 59 to 96% by a simple two-step process starting from 2-thiouracil via readily accessible 2-(methylthio)pyrimidin-4(3H)-one.
