The adsorption of atomic S on the Fe(1 1 0) surface is examined using density functional theory (DFT). Three different adsorption sites are considered, including the atop, hollow and bridge sites and the S is adsorbed at a quarter monolayer coverage in a p(2 × 2) arrangement. The hollow site is found to be the most stable, followed by the bridge and atop sites. At all three sites, S adsorption results in relatively minor surface reconstruction, with the most significant being that for the hollow site, with lateral displacements of 0.09 Å. Comparisons between S-adsorbed and pure Fe surfaces revealed reductions in the magnetic moments of surface-layer Fe atoms in the vicinity of the S. At the hollow site, the presence of S causes an increase in the surface Fe d-orbital density of states between 4 and 5 eV. However, S adsorption has no significant effect on the structure and magnetic properties of the lower substrate layers.  相似文献

In this paper, a practical structured light-based system for fast object modeling and reconstruction is reported. The system consists of an off-the-shelf digital projector, a video camera and a turntable. The system calibration is implemented accurately and automatically by taking a single image of an illuminated calibration template. The multiple color light stripes emitted by the projector adopt only three colors and the color can be modified easily according to the surface texture of the object. This makes the system widely applicable in many situations, and the assumption about color neutrality, which is a limitation to other similar systems, can be largely relaxed. The registration and merging algorithm is greatly simplified by employing a turntable. The validity and high accuracy of the method are demonstrated by extensive real experiments.  相似文献

This case report describes a one-stage technique for long-term voice restoration and laryngeal reconstruction in the treatment of Teflon (Dupont, Wilmington, Delaware) granuloma. A patient who presented with severe dysphonia underwent resection of a Teflon granuloma via a lateral laryngotomy. A pedicled strap muscle flap was used to reconstruct the paraglottic space. The muscle flap was positioned through the lateral laryngotomy with direct endoscopic visualization of the endolarynx to ensure correct vertical positioning and medialization of the vocal fold. The muscle flap was secured in this position with suture fixation. The trapdoor piece of cartilage that was elevated to create the window in the lateral thyroid lamina was repositioned over the pedicled muscle flap and reinforced with a titanium miniplate, which was secured to the remaining thyroid cartilage. The patient had excellent voice results and has not required revision or augmentation. Reinforcement of the lateral thyroid lamina using titanium miniplate fixation helps to stabilize the muscle pedicle flap and the position of the vocal fold, in this case resulting in good long-term voice results after a single-stage reconstruction.  相似文献

精确测量束团的发射度和横向相空间, 在高亮度电子束的产生和应用中具有重要意义. 传统测量方法在测量发射度时需要对束团在相空间内分布进行初始假设, 且只能给出相椭圆的twiss参数;基于CT(computerized tomography)算法的束团横向相空间测量方法无需先验假设, 能给出粒子在相空间内的真实分布, 测量结果更为精确. 介绍了基于CT算法的束团横向相空间测量的原理和初步实验结果, 并与四极透镜扫描法测量的结果进行了比较.  相似文献

在热动力学研究中,大多数实验是在热导式热量计中进行的。由于量热系统的热惯性,记录得到的热谱会出现“失真”,为了正确方便地分析被研究过程的动力学性质,必须对所得热谱进行改造或重建。本文系统地提出了一种新的重建法,即热谱重建法。实验结果表明,该法可广泛应用于热动力学研究。  相似文献

Heating (100) silicon at high temperature (say, higher than 850 °C) in H2, cooling to 670–700 °C in the same ambient, and quenching to room temperature in N2 results in environmentally robust, terraced 1 × 1 (100) SiH2. Evidence for this conclusion is based on angle‐resolved x‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy, infrared absorption spectroscopy in the attenuated total reflection mode, thermal programmed desorption, and reflection high‐energy electron diffraction.  With the resolution becoming sufficient to reveal individual atoms, HREM is now entering the stage where it can compete with X-ray methods to quantitatively determine atomic structures of materials without much prior knowledge, but with the advantage of being applicable to aperiodic objects such as crystal defects. In our view the future electron microscope will be characterised by a large versatility in experimental settings under computer control such as the illumination conditions (TEM-STEM), CBED, detecting conditions (diffraction, image, ptychography) and many other tunable parameters such as focus (g), voltage, spherical aberration (C s ), beam tilt, etc. Since modern detectors can detect single electrons, also the counting statistics is known. The only limiting factor in the experiment will be the total number of electrons that interact with the object during the experiment due to the limitations in the exposure time or in the object damage. However, instrumental potentialities will never be exploited fully if not guided by an experimental strategy. Here intuitive guidelines can be very deceptive. For instance an image made with the best electron microscope (C s  = 0) at the best focus (g = 0) from the best object (phase object) would show no contrast at all. Hence, questions such as what is the best C s , focus, object thickness, etc. can only be answered properly if done using a method of experiment design.  相似文献

In this paper, the authors propose a novel smoothing descent type algorithm with extrapolation for solving a class of constrained nonsmooth and nonconvex problems,where the nonconvex term is possibly nonsmooth. Their algorithm adopts the proximal gradient algorithm with extrapolation and a safe-guarding policy to minimize the smoothed objective function for better practical and theoretical performance. Moreover, the algorithm uses a easily checking rule to update the smoothing parameter to ensure that any accumulation point of the generated sequence is an (affine-scaled) Clarke stationary point of the original nonsmooth and nonconvex problem. Their experimental results indicate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.  相似文献

This article studies a posteriori error analysis of fully discrete finite element approximations for semilinear parabolic optimal control problems. Based on elliptic reconstruction approach introduced earlier by Makridakis and Nochetto [25], a residual based a posteriori error estimators for the state, co-state and control variables are derived. The space discretization of the state and co-state variables is done by using the piecewise linear and continuous finite elements, whereas the piecewise constant functions are employed for the control variable. The temporal discretization is based on the backward Euler method. We derive a posteriori error estimates for the state, co-state and control variables in the $L^\infty(0,T;L^2(\Omega))$-norm. Finally, a numerical experiment is performed to illustrate the performance of the derived estimators.  相似文献
