The surface modification of the fullerene‐like hydrogenated carbon (FL‐C:H) film was achieved by bombardment using Ar, H, and N ions, respectively. A systematic comparison of X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and Fourier transformation infrared(FTIR) spectra was made between the FL‐C:H film and ion‐bombarded films. The results show that ion bombardment resulted in the increase of sp3 C content, specially, new C? N bonds were formed for N‐ion‐bombarded film. The contact angle (CA) and friction coefficient of those films were measured. The surface free energy evaluated from the contact angle increased for ion‐bombarded films, and the most obvious increase was obtained for N‐ion‐bombarded film. The friction coefficient decreased for H‐ion‐bombarded film whereas it increased for N‐ion‐bombarded film, and the friction coefficient of Ar‐ion‐bombarded film was close to that of the FL‐C:H film. This study describes a flexible approach that allows us to characterize the long-term stability of antioxidants by using a thermodynamically extended Arrhenius equation. We use retinol, Vitamin A, as a model antioxidant and its degradation behaviors are characterized for both stabilized and non-stabilized systems; in this study, by using a fluid bed technique, we immobilize the retinol in lipid particles, thus increasing its thermal stability in complex formulations, such as aqueous polymer gels and emulsions. Our approach demonstrates that the degradation behaviors of the retinol show a functional relationship with temperature and time, which makes it possible to use the Arrhenius approach. This result allows us to precisely characterize the stability of antioxidants in complex formulations for long time. 相似文献

The Flory Huggins Solvent parameter (χ) previously published for a range of solvents and a cross-linked silicone polymer, have been recalculated using the original swelling data, but including a term representing the loss of configurational entropy consequent on crosslinking. From the Shore hardness of the polymer, the Young’s modulus E was calculated. E = 6(C1 + C2), where C1 and C2 are the parameters from the Mooney Rivlin equation for the elastic deformation of an elastomer. Since C1 is related to Mc, the average molecular weight between crosslinks, revised χ values could be calculated for various values of C2/C1. The main purpose of this paper is to test the model of molecular sorption [Vesely D. Polymer 2001;42:4417-22] for Case II type diffusion by measuring the effect of sorption/swelling and resistance to flow through the swollen region on the mass transport of solvents in glassy amorphous polymer. The system of methanol and polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) has been selected for easy comparison with the existing literature data.The weight loss of penetrant permeating through the polymer has been monitored using a permeability cell placed on a balance (gravimetry). The rate of diffusion and swelling has been measured using light microscopy on samples cut after different elapsed time exposure to the solvent.The contribution of polymer swelling and resistance to flow has been evaluated by comparing the mass transport during diffusion and permeation processes. It is shown that for thin films the thickness independent component of the mass transport process (swelling) makes a significant contribution to the diffusion rate. For thicker samples the thickness dependent component (the resistance to flow through the swollen polymer) dominates both, diffusion and permeation. 相似文献

The green and high-value recycling of shrimp shell and straw remains a worldwide problem. This study aimed to investigate the potential utilization of a fermentation broth (FB) which contains shrimp shell and straw as a new source for preparation of biodegradable films. Aureobasidium pullulans and Photobacterium sp. LYM-1 were used in the fermentation. The cellulase activity was 115.92 U/mL and chitinase activity was 17.89 U/mL in FB. The polysaccharides concentration in FB was 1.05 mg/mL after 7 days of fermentation. An eco-friendly PVA-reinforced FB biodegradable film (FBBF) was successfully prepared and the effect of different plasticizers and surfactants on the mechanical, structural, and impermeability properties of the film was determined. The formation of new bonds between PVA and FB was proved by FTIR spectroscopy. The FBBF containing 0.25 % (w/v) glycerol and 0.01 % (v/v) tween-20 showed better strength properties. Elongation and water-swelling properties were highly improved by adding 0.2 % (m/v) citric acid. According to FE-SEM images, the smooth and tight surface of citric acid added FBBF was observed. Interestingly, the FBBF film showed good heat/moisture capacity, antifungal, and degradation properties. This report reveals a new green, and high-value recycling of straw and shrimp shell by the co-fermentation with A. pullulans and Photobacterium sp. LYM-1. 利用MM-200型摩擦磨损试验机考察了填料含量及载荷对纳米Al2O3填充PTFE复合材料摩擦磨损性能的影响,采用扫描电子显微镜观察分析磨损表面形貌及磨损机理,结果表明,纳米Al2O3可以提高PTFE的耐磨性,但Al2O3会导致严重的塑性变形,并且Al2O3含量越高,塑性变形越严重,当Al2O3的质量分数为10%时,填充PTFE复合材料的磨损最小;随着载荷的增大,填充PTFE的磨损增加,填充PTFE 相似文献
