Thermo gravimetric analysis of ammonium-p-tert-butylcalix[6]arene salts were carried out to determine the stoichiometry of the inclusion compounds and the temperature of leaving of the ammonium cation, as amine, from the solid phase by a reverse proton transfer reaction to calixarene. The chain length of the amine molecules and their relative basicity order are the main factors which determine the decomplexation temperatures for the ammonium salts of piperidinium, diethylammonium, ethylenediammonium, morpholinium, s-butylammonium, butylammonium, hexylammonium and triethylammonium salts of p-tert-butylcalix[6]arene anion. The solid state structure of bis-diethylammonium-p-tert-butylcalix[6]arene dianion is reported. The calix moiety adopts a 1,2,3 alternate conformation, with one ammonium as exo-calix and other as endo-calix, with an intricate array of hydrogen bonds between phenol, phenolate and ammonium cations.  相似文献

N-Octadecyl-N′-maleoyl-L-phenylalanine(ODMA-L-Phe)was synthesized through the condensation,deprotection and acid- ylation reaction of BOC-L-phenylalauine,octadecylamine and maleic anhydride,ODMA-L-Phe can self-assemble in some organic solvents and turned them into thermally reversible physical supramolecular organogels.The morphology of ODMA-L-Phe aggregates was characterized by polarized optical microscopy(POM)and field emission scanning electron microscope(FE-SEM). The aggregates of ODMA-L-Phe were needle-like fibrils with diameters of approximately 100-200 nm.The mechanism of ODMA- L-Phe serf-assembly in organic solvents was investigated using ~1H NMR and circular dichroism(CD).The results indicated that hydrogen bonding was one of the main driving forces for the self-assembly of ODMA-L-Phe.  相似文献

This work presents the synthesis of novel unsymmetrical bolaamphiphiles bearing a sugar residue and a cationic glycine betaine moiety connected to both ends of a C22 or C32 oligomethylene bridging chain possessing or not a diacetylenic unit. Preliminary transmission electron microscopy (TEM) studies revealed the polymorphism of these bola lipids with regard to their self-assembled morphologies in water depending on the presence or not of the diacetylenic functionality and on alkyl chain length.  相似文献

The reaction of ZnII nitrate with maleic acid (H2mal) / fumaric acid (H2fum) and 4,4′‐dipyridyl disulfide (4‐pds) resulted under same conditions in two distinct interpenetrated compounds, namely [Zn(4‐dps)2(H2O)2]·2Hmal ( 1 ) and [Zn(4‐dps)(fum)] ( 2 ). In 1 , Hmal anion adopts bridging mode based on hydrogen bonding, affording a 2‐fold parallel interpenetrated 3D→3D α‐Po net hydrogen‐bonded framework, in which 1D double‐stranded chains are formed, and then extended to a 3D supramolecular architecture combining second‐sphere hydrogen‐bonded interactions. For 2 , fum dianion takes on bis‐dentate bridging coordination fashion, furnishing a 2‐fold interpenetrated 2D→2D (4,4) layered coordination network, in which the tetrahedral ZnII atoms are interlinked by 4‐dps and fum. Additionally, the compound 2 shows strong fluorescence in the solid state at room temperature.  相似文献

A series of new porphyrin derivatives possessing the side arms of alkyl-substituted thiophene oligomer were synthesized. The effects of solvent polarity on the formation of supramolecular assembly have been studied by UV-vis absorption, fluorescence emission, and TEM measurement. The linear-shape porphyrin derivatives bearing two thiophene pentamers at meso-position showed the significant spectral changes in both blue-shift and band broadening of Soret bands which indicate the formation of a relatively larger porphyrin H-aggregate that occurred in nonpolar solvent such as n-hexane.  相似文献

A microphase‐separated, amphiphilic graft copolymer consisting of a poly (vinyl chloride) (PVC) backbone and poly(oxyethylene methacrylate) (POEM) side chains, (PVC‐g‐POEM at 62:38 wt %) was synthesized via atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP). Nuclear magnetic resonance (1H NMR), FTIR spectroscopy, and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) clearly revealed that the “grafting from” method using ATRP was successful and that the graft copolymer molecularly self‐assembled into discrete nanophase domains of continuous PVC and isolated POEM regions. The self‐assembled graft copolymer film was used to template the growth of silver nanoparticles in solid state by introducing a AgCF3SO3 precursor and a UV irradiation process. The in situ formation of silver nanoparticles in the graft copolymer template film was confirmed by TEM, UV–visible spectroscopy, and wide angle X‐ray scattering. FTIR spectroscopy and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy also demonstrated the selective incorporation and in situ formation of silver nanoparticles within the hydrophilic POEM domains, presumably due to strong interactions between the silver and the ether oxygen in POEM. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Single-molecule force spectroscopy, as implemented in an atomic force microscope, provides a rarely used method by which to monitor dynamic processes that occur near surfaces. Here, a methodology is presented and characterized that facilitates the study of polymer bridging across nanometer-sized gaps. The model system employed is that of DNA-based reversible polymers, and an automated procedure is introduced that allows the AFM tip–surface contact point to be automatically determined, and the distance d between opposing surfaces to be actively controlled. Using this methodology, the importance of several experimental parameters was systematically studied, e.g. the frequency of repeated tip/surface contacts, the area of the substrate surface sampled by the AFM, and the use of multiple AFM tips and substrates. Experiments revealed the surfaces to be robust throughout pulling experiments, so that multiple touches and pulls could be carried out on a single spot with no measurable affect on the results. Differences in observed bridging probabilities were observed, both on different spots on the same surface and, more dramatically, from one day to another. Data normalization via a reference measurement allows data from multiple days to be directly compared.  相似文献

A series of CoII, NiII, and CuII complexes with trans-1-(2-pyridyl)-2-(4-pyridyl)ethylene (bpe) and various polycarboxyl co-ligands have been prepared under general condition and characterized by IR, elemental analysis, and TG-DTA techniques. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction indicates that these complexes display multifarious binuclear, 1-D, and 2-D coordination motifs in virtue of the bridging polycarboxyl building blocks, in which the bpe ligand uniformly adopts the unidentate coordination by using its 4-pyridyl group. Remarkably, higher-dimensional extended networks are further formed with the aid of additional secondary interactions based on bpe (such as H-bonding and ππ stacking). These results demonstrate that bpe is a reliable bifunctional tecton to construct diverse supramolecular architectures via synergistic effect of multiple intermolecular interactions.  相似文献

Polymeric melaminium sulfate [(LH2)2(SO4)2]n has been synthesized by reaction of melamine L with sulfuric acid in aqueous solution. The compound was characterized by elemental analysis, 1H NMR, ESI MS and a single crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis. The architecture of the assembly formed is based on hydrogen bonded dimers of diprotonated melaminium cations (LH2)2+ which are linked by a hydrogen bonded network with sulfate ions forming 2D sheets. A 3D polymeric structure results from the presence of mutual hydrogen bonds between sulfate ions and melaminium cations in different sheets. Significant π‐π stacking is also present between the aromatic cations in this supramolecular arrangement.  相似文献

Perfluorocarbons (PFCs) are emerging as a new type of liquid phase in which molecular recognition processes can effectively take place. The combination of perfluorocarbons (PFCs) and noncovalent associations, mostly hydrogen bonds, ion pairing, halogen bonds or coordination bonds, has already been successfully exploited for applications in organic synthesis (catalyst recycling, by-product removal), electrochemical sensing, selective extraction/titration processes or to prepare gels. Due to the extreme solvophobic effect in PFCs, the least polar existing fluids, noncovalent associations tend to be enhanced. For instance, quantitative data on the increase in association strength occurring in PFCs have recently been reported for ion-pairing interactions or encapsulation processes. Moreover, several examples show that confining a receptor in a fluorous phase leads to recognition processes with improved selectivity.  相似文献
