Dynamic stability of carbonyl ylides

The non- and fluorine-substituted singlet carbonyl ylides are studied by using ab initio MCSCF calculations. The thermodynamic stability of the carbonyl ylides and the intramolecular stability to isomerization or fragmentation reaction coordinates is demonstrated in terms of the topological structure of the ab initio potential energy surfaces. The allylic resonance is found to be dynamically unstable, considering out-of-plane vibrational mode. The instability is studied by the symmetries of the low-lying excitations out of the MCSCF wave function.     

高选择性透过二氧化硫气体分离膜的研究 （Ⅳ）不同烃基乙烯基亚砜接枝聚乙烯醇膜的透过性能

研究了不同烃基乙烯基亚砜接枝聚乙烯醇（ＰＶＡ－ＲＶＳＯ，Ｒ＝Ｍｅ，Ｅｔ，ｔ－Ｂｕ，Ｐｈ）膜对纯ＳＯ２、Ｎ２的透过性能以及ＳＯ２／Ｎ２混合气体的分离性能．结果表明上述膜对ＳＯ２具有高的选择性．对不同烃基乙烯基亚砜接枝膜进行了比较．     

Catalytic Asymmetric[2,3]-Sigmatropic Rearrangement of Sulfur Ylides Generated from Carbenoids and Allenic 2-Methylphenyl Sulfide

The first investigation on catalytic asymmetric [2, 3]-sigmatrop-ic rearrangement of sulfur ylides generated from carbenoids andallenic phenyl sulfide was carried out. Up to 55% ee value wasobtained.     

Novel Stereoselective Synthesis of (E)- α，β-Unsaturated Esters by the Tandem Reaction of Deprotonation-Oxidation-Wittig Reaction from Phosphonium and Arsonium Salt

Phosphonium or arsonium salt 1 can undergo the tandem reaction of deprotonation -oxidation-Wittig reaction with alcohol 2 in the presence of sodium hydroxide and manganese dioxide,which affords a general simplified method for the stereoselective synthesis of (E)- α-β-unsaturated esters 3.     

A practical access to novel 2-amino-5-arylidene-1,3-thiazol-4(5H)-ones via sulfur/nitrogen displacement under solvent-free microwave irradiation

A new effective approach to the synthesis of a small library of 2-amino-5-arylidene-1,3-thiazol-4(5H)-ones was reported using solvent-free reaction conditions under microwave irradiation. In the first step, rhodanines were subjected to Knoevenagel condensation with aryl aldimines according to a facile one-pot protocol. Then the (5Z)-5-arylidene rhodanine derivatives were transformed directly into the corresponding 2-amino-1,3-thiazol-4(5H)-ones by sulfur/nitrogen displacement reaction under microwaves with retention of configuration and good overall yields.     

Kinetic modelling of the thermal oxidation of polyisoprene elastomers. Part 2: Effect of sulfur vulcanization on mass changes and thickness distribution of oxidation products during thermal oxidation

Thermal oxidation of sulfur vulcanized polyisoprene samples was studied by gravimetry and IR mapping of carbonyl groups (to determine the oxidized layer thickness (TOL)) at temperatures ranging from 60 to 150 °C in air. Oxidation appears noticeably lower than that for the starting non-vulcanized polyisoprene, revealing a stabilizing effect of sulfur-containing species. After a short period where mass loss presumably due to water evaporation predominates, the sample mass increases until a plateau corresponding to 6.3% (at 60 °C) to 0.5% (at 140 °C) mass gain. Practically no weight gain (∼0.1%) was observed at 150 °C. The mass uptake is due to oxygen grafting to the chains. TOL varies from about 4.6 mm (70 °C) to about 1 mm (150 °C).A kinetic model, derived from a mechanistic scheme of radical chain oxidation including stabilizing events due to hydroperoxide reduction by sulfur-containing groups and taking into account the diffusion-reaction coupling, was established and numerically resolved. The model predictions for mass changes and TOL values are in good agreement with experimental data.     

Comparison of combustion sources for sulfur chemiluminescence detection

Three different types of SCD combustion source have been evaluated for use in the chromatographic analysis of atmospheric sulfur compounds. The conventional FID source and the newer inverted burner source were found to be less sensitive and less stable than the flameless design. Overall, the flameless source was superior for use with HRGC-SCD.     

Group 6-group 10 heterobimetallic complexes with sulfur ligands

Complexes that contain both a group 6 group 10 metal combination and a sulfur bound ligand form a growing set of species. Their chemistry is discussed and reviewed. Ligands that bind to such heterobimetallic molecules most commonly are S^2– and SR^– species. Metal-metal bonded complexes, and compounds where metal-metal interactions are minimal are both discussed. The structural parameters for many of the crystallographically characterized complexes are tabulated.

新型二氧化硫被动采样器的研制

研究了一种新型二氧化硫被动采样器。考察了无纺布、定性滤纸和定量滤纸等吸收剂的载体在相同情况下对二氧化硫和二氧化氮的吸收效果 ,对吸收载体进行了优选。并针对低温地区和高温高湿的气候条件 ,确立了以三乙醇胺(TEA)为吸收主体 ,分别以乙二醇、丙三醇为添加剂的吸收体系。
