Alkaline-earth (Ae) metals have attracted a wealth of interdependent research from synthetic chemists. In Ae-catalyzed organometallic reactions, β-diketiminate is a typical ligand used to stabilize Ae catalysts by forming six-membered rings comprising Ae metals. Herein, studies focusing on the configuration of β-diketiminate-coordinated Ae compounds observed that the CC and CN bonds are homogeneous and unchanged. Furthermore, energetic studies observed that the formation of the Ae-incorporated six-membered rings results in enhanced stability of >20 kcal/mol. The nucleus-independent chemical shifts, anisotropy of the induced current density, and molecular orbital analyses demonstrated the non-aromaticity of the β-diketiminate-coordinated Ae compounds. The improved stability of these compounds can be explained by the delocalization of the π electrons derived from the β-diketiminate moiety.  相似文献

The rawpH-data, obtained from the potentiometric titrations of the titled ligands with NaOH in 75% (v/v) dioxane-water mixture performed at 20, 30 and 40°C at constant ionic strength (=0.1M-NaClO4), have been adequately corrected for dilution, and solvent effects in order to evaluate thermodynamic dissociation constants. Variance of the latter as a function of temperature has also been accounted for. The differing magnitudes of thermodynamic dissociation constants of the titled ligands have been explained on the basis of the non coplanar orientation of the phenyl ring in the ligands and a comparison has been made with those of unsubstituted benzoylacetone, dibenzoylmethane and acetylacetone.Following similar technique, thermodynamic stepwise and overall formation constants of the titled metal-ligand systems have been obtained and the results correlated with ligand basicity inverse metal crystal radii and second potentials of metals. Decrease in the free enthalpy (–G) of complexation reaction has also been evaluated.

Zusammenfassung Aus der potenitometrischen Titration der Titelverbindungen mit NaOH in 75 (v/v) Dioxan—Wasser bei, 20, 30 und 40°C bei konstanter Ionenstärke (=0,1M-NaClO4) wurden die thermodynamischen Dissoziationskonstanten ermittelt. Verdünnungs-, Lösungsmittel-und Temperatureffekte wurden berücksichtigt. Die unterschiedlichen Dissoziationskonstanten werden mit der Nichtplanarität des Phenylrings in den Liganden erklärt. Außerdem wurden die Komplexbildungskonstanten bestimmt; sie sind in die Diskussion miteinbezogen.

Noradrenaline is a catecholamine which has been largely recognised to play a very important role in biological systems. In view of the neurotransmitter's alleged importance, this work aimed at showing the influence of time on its spectral behaviour using different analytical methods and determining its acidity constants through spectrophotometric titration and by the so-called point-by-point analysis, where the samples are freshly prepared for each pH value investigated at the instant required. Because the catecholamines are light-sensitive and likely to react with the oxygen in the surrounding air, both methods used preclude its incidence onto the samples being analysed under the presence of a nitrogen atmosphere maintained over the solutions. The constants obtained through point-by-point analysis were log beta1 = 30.71+/-0.16, log beta2 = 22.00+/-0.15 and log beta3 = 11.69+/-0.16.  相似文献

Summary Several -cyclodextrin (CD)-bonded stationary phases for high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) were prepared, based on silica beads coated with a poly(alkylamine), [poly(ethyleneimine)(PEI)]. In order to obtain stationary phases with a high content of CD and maximum accessibility of the CD cavity, the functionalization was carried out after the coating, using the mono-tosyl derivative of CD as the intermediate. The ability of these supports to separate ortho, meta and para isomers of some disubstituted benzene derivatives was examined. The contribution of the amino groups of the polymer and of the CD cavity to the separation process is discussed. The resolution is mainly based on the difference in the stability of the complexes of the various isomers with CD. The influence of the amount of CD on the height of the theoretical plate is also studied.  相似文献

Summary. The formation equilibria for the binary complexes of CoII, NiII, CuII, ZnII, CdII, MnII, PbII, ThIV, UO2II, and CeIII with tricine and for the ternary complexes involving some -amino acids (glycine, -alanine, proline, serine, asparagine, and aspartic acid) were investigated using pH-metric technique. The formation of binary and ternary complexes was inferred from the pH-metric titration curves. It was deduced that tricine acts as a primary ligand in the ternary complexes involving the monocarboxylic amino acids (glycine, -alanine, proline, serine, and asparagine), whereas it behaves as a secondary ligand in the ternary systems containing the dicarboxylic aspartic acid. The ternary complex formation was found to take place in a stepwise manner. The stability constants of the complexes formed in aqueous solutions were determined potentiometrically under the experimental conditions (t=25°C, I=0.1moldm–3 NaNO3). The order of stability of the ternary complexes in terms of the nature of the amino acids is investigated and discussed. The values of log K for the ternary complexes have been evaluated and discussed. Evaluation of the effects of ionic strength and temperature of the medium on the stability of the ternary system MII-tricine--alanine (MII=CoII, NiII, and CuII) has been studied. The thermodynamic parameters were calculated and discussed.  相似文献

Summary A relative comparison of the binding properties of different drug molecules requires their mutual superposition with respect to various alignment criteria. In order to validate the results of different alignment methods, the crystallographically observed binding geometries of ligands in the pocket of a common protein receptor have been used. The alignment function in the program SEAL that calculates the mutual superposition of molecules has been optimized with respect to these references. Across the reference data set, alignments could be produced that show mean rms deviations of approximately 1 Å compared to the experimental situation. For structures with obvious skeletal similarities a multiple-flexible fit, linking common pharmacophoric groups by virtual springs, has been incorporated into the molecular mechanics program MOMO. In order to combine conformational searching with comparative alignments, the optimized SEAL approach has been applied to sets of conformers generated by MIMUMBA, a program for conformational analysis. Multiple-flexible fits have been calculated for inhibitors of ergosterol biosynthesis. Sets of different thrombin and thermolysin inhibitors have been conformationally analyzed and subsequently aligned by a combined MIMUMBA/SEAL approach. Since for these examples crystallographic data on their mutual alignment are available, an objective assessment of the computed results could be performed. Among the generated conformers, one geometry could be selected for the thrombin and thermolysin inhibitors that approached reasonably well the experimentally observed alignment.  相似文献

The quenching of the fluorescence of three anthropogenic fulvic acids (FA) provoked by Cu(II) (pH 6.0), Fe(III) (pH 4.0) and UO22+ (pH 3.5), was analyzed by a non-linear method and by Stern-Volmer plots. The FA samples were extracted from composted sewage sludges (csFA), composted municipal wastes (mwFA) and composted livestock wastes (lsFA). Synchronous-scan fluorescence (SyF) spectra were collected as a function of metal ion concentration. Spectral data were treated by a self-modeling mixture analysis method (SIMPLISMA) to detect the SyF spectral band with the strongest quenching and to calculate the corresponding quenching profile. The analysis of these profiles by a non-linear method allowed the estimation of conditional stability constants (K) and of the percentage of non-complexing fluorophores. The same quantitative information was obtained by the modified Stern-Volmer equation taking into account the existence of fluorophores that do not participate in the complexation. Good agreement was found between the results of the two procedures. The log K calculated by the non-linear method were (standard deviation in parenthesis): csFA, Cu(II), 4.22 (5); Fe(III), 5.0 (1); UO22+, 5.2 (2); mwFA, Cu(II), 4.21 (3); Fe(III), 5.6 (2); UO22+, 4.7 (3); lsFA, Cu(II), 4.51 (8); Fe(III), 5.5 (2); UO22+, 3.6 (2).  相似文献
