L~p INEQUALITIES AND ADMISSIBLE OPERATOR FOR POLYNOMIALS

Let p(z) be a polynomial of degree at most n. In this paper we obtain some new results about the dependence of p(Rz)-βp(rz) + α (R+1/r+1)n-|β | p(rz) s on p(z) s for every α, β∈ C with |α|≤ 1, |β | ≤ 1, R > r 1, and s > 0. Our results not only generalize some well known inequalities, but also are variety of interesting results deduced from them by a fairly uniform procedure.     

Herbarumin Ⅲ的立体选择性全合成

Traveling waves for a reaction–diffusion–advection predator–prey model

In this paper we study a reaction–diffusion–advection predator–prey model in a river. The existence of predator-invasion traveling wave solutions and prey-spread traveling wave solutions in the upstream and downstream directions is established and the corresponding minimal wave speeds are obtained. While some crucial improvements in theoretical methods have been established, the proofs of the existence and nonexistence of such traveling waves are based on Schauder’s fixed-point theorem, LaSalle’s invariance principle and Laplace transform. Based on theoretical results, we investigate the effect of the hydrological and biological factors on minimal wave speeds and hence on the spread of the prey and the invasion of the predator in the river. The linear determinacy of the predator–prey Lotka–Volterra system is compared with nonlinear determinacy of the competitive Lotka–Volterra system to investigate the mechanics of linear and nonlinear determinacy.

An improved method for the analysis of major antioxidants of Hibiscus esculentus Linn

Major antioxidants of aqueous ethanol extract from Lady's Finger (Hibiscus esculentus Linn) were systematically investigated in this study. Firstly, high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) was applied to identify antioxidant peaks in a sample by spiking the sample extract with 2,2'-azino-bis-(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) (ABTS) free radical, which was prepared from manganese dioxide and ABTS. Secondly, in order to identify the elution period of major antioxidant peaks, the antioxidant capacities of different fractions from solid-phase extraction (SPE) were measured, and the chromatograms of fractions were also recorded. Lastly, multiple mass spectrometry (MS(n)) was used to elucidate the possible chemical structures of antioxidants, and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) was further applied for structure confirmation. The major antioxidant compounds in lady's finger were identified to be quercetin derivatives and (-)-epigallocatechin using HPLC-MS and HPLC-MS(n) (n = 2-4) techniques. It was found that about 70% of total antioxidant activity was contributed by four quercetin derivatives. The structures of major antioxidants, which were isolated by semi-preparative RP-HPLC with two tandem C18 columns, were further confirmed using UV-vis absorption spectroscopy and 13C NMR spectra. Quercetin 3-O-xylosyl (1' --> 2') glucoside, quercetin 3-O-glucosyl (1' --> 6') glucoside, quercetin 3-O-glucoside and quercetin 3-O-(6'-O-malonyl)-glucoside were first identified and characterized as major antioxidants in lady's finger.     

On intensities of perturbed random measures on Hausdorff spaces

Abstract

This article studies classes of random measures on topological spaces perturbed by stochastic processes (a.k.a. modulated random measures). We render a rigorous construction of the stochastic integral of functions of two variables and showed that such an integral is a random measure. We establish a new Campbell-type formula that, along with a rigorous construction of modulation, leads to the intensity of a modulated random measure. Mathematical formalism of integral-driven random measures and their stochastic intensities find numerous applications in stochastic models, physics, astrophysics, and finance that we discuss throughout the article.     

芴2,7位取代的9,9’-二芳基螺芴类化合物的合成及性能

设计并合成了一系列以三苯胺为核,芴衍生物为外围基团的有机蓝光小分子,该合成通过Suzuki反应在9-芳基芴的2位和(或)7位引入相同或不同取代基作为模块,并利用Friedel-Crafts反应将4-甲基三苯胺与这一系列模块结合.用NMR,MS和元素分析进行结构表征.荧光测试结果表明该类化合物溶液的荧光发射波长范围在442～466 nm之间,属蓝光发射.电化学测试显示该类材料的HOMO能级位于-5.15～-5.19 eV之间.差示扫描量热仪与热重分析得出化合物的玻璃化转变温度在166℃以上,热分解温度高于398℃,表明该类材料具有良好的热稳定性.     

浅谈高等教育心理学在大学物理实验教学中的应用——在牛顿环实验中的尝试

随着现代教育的发展,关注大学生的学习心理研究,提高全体学生的学习效率和效果,教育心理学逐步走入课堂,越来越被教育工作者所重视。许多教师广泛采用教育心理学的原理和理论结构来指导自己的教学实践,并且取得了令人满意的成效。本文采用理论联系实际的方法,对高等教育心理学在牛顿环实验教学中的应用进行了有益探索。
