Several aryl substituted ketones, cyclic ketones, 1,3-diketones and a β-ketoamide were halogenated with N-halosuccinimides under solvent-free reaction conditions (SFRC) at various temperatures (20-80 °C), whereas less enolized ketones required the presence of an acid catalyst (p-toluenesulfonic acid, PTSA). Bromination of substituted acetophenones obeys first order kinetics v=kBr[ketone] and the following correlation with the keto-enol equilibrium constant: log kBr=0.3pKE+C1, less enolized substrates being more reactive; the moderate positive charge developed in the rate determining step was confirmed by the Hammett correlation (ρ=−0.5). On the other hand, in cyclic ketones an opposite relation was observed: log kBr=−0.6pKE+C2, indicating higher reactivity of substrates with higher enolization constant (KE). The important role of the nature of the solvent (MeCN, MeOH) in preorganization of the ketone-NBS-PTSA mixture prior to SFRC bromination was found.  相似文献

Various C-aryl and C-alkyl-nitrones were synthesized within 0.5–2 h via condensation of an equimolar amount of aldehydes and N-substituted-hydroxylamines under solvent-free conditions in a ball-mill apparatus. Reactions can be performed without the need of excluding air and moisture and yields the expected products with no need for further purification. The study has been complemented by Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) and solid-state 13C MAS nuclear magnetic resonance experiments. We have also studied the temperature profile during the reaction. A comparative study with the corresponding solvent-free microwave activated reaction showed the superiority of the ball-milling method; 31 examples are described, including the synthesis of the anti-aging agent C-phenyl-N-tert-butyl nitrone (PBN) and one of its analogues C-2-pyridyl-N-tert-butylnitrone (2-PyBN).  相似文献

Potassium phthalimide was found to be a highly effective and easily accessible organocatalyst for the cyanosilylation of various carbonyl compounds under extremely mild conditions. The corresponding cyanohydrin trimethylsilyl ethers were obtained in high to quantitative yields in solvent-free conditions at room temperature using 2.5 mol% catalyst loading.  相似文献

A mild and efficient method has been developed for the preparation of amidoalkyl naphthols from condensation of aldehydes with amides or urea and 2-naphthol in the presence of a catalytic amount of Brønsted acidic ionic liquid ([TEBSA][HSO4]) under thermal solvent-free conditions. A facile procedure for the synthesis.of quinoxalines is being reported starting from benzil and 1,2-diaminobenzene. Thereactions were carried out catalyst-free, solvent-free and under microwave irradiation conditions in high yield (84-98%) with short time (3-6 rain) and environmental benign, as well as convenient operation. The structures of all the compounds have been confirmed on the basis of their IR, 1H NMR, and/or 13C NMR, mass spectral data.  相似文献

An efficient, rapid and green synthesis of α,α′-bis(substituted-benzylidene)cycloalkanones and their xanthene derivatives is reported under solvent-free conditions using nano titania-supported sulfonic acid (n-TSA) as a reusable catalyst. This method offers many advantages, such as environmental friendliness reaction conditions, simplicity, short reaction times, easy work-up, reusability of catalyst, and high yields of products.
