A novel 3-nitrobenzeneboronic acid is found to catalyse efficiently the acetylation of a wide range of alcohols as well as phenols with acetic anhydride in good to excellent yields at room temperature under solvent-free conditions. The reactions are clean and the catalyst is mild such that highly sensitive functional groups including oximes are stable to the reaction conditions.  相似文献

The synthesis of primary carbamates from structurally diverse compounds containing a hydroxyl group has been performed in high yields and purity, and without any epimerization under solvent-free conditions using HClO4-SiO2 as a mild, convenient, and effective reagent. An attempt has been made to prepare terephthalic acid(TPA) by solvent-free oxidation of p-xylene(PX) with air over tetra(pchlorophenylporphinato) manganese chloride(T(p-Cl)PPMnCl) and cobalt acetate.The co-catalysis between T(p-Cl)PPMnCl and Co(OAc)2 has been discovered under solvent-free conditions.TPA yield could be increased significantly when T(p-Cl)PPMnCl and Co(OAc)2 were used together.The addition of T(p-Cl)PPMnCl into the reaction mixture over Co(OAc)2 significantly accelerated the rate-determining step of the oxidation process of PX to TPA.The effect of temperature on reaction was also investigated.  相似文献

Vanadyl acetylacetonate,VO(acac)2,has been found to be very effective catalyst for synthesis of a variety of benzimidazoles under solvent-free condition.The methodology involves the exposure of a mixture of o-phenylenediamine and a selected aromatic carboxylic acid/aldehyde to microwave radiation without the use of any solvent or supporting agents.The benzimidazoles were obtained in quick time with high yields.  相似文献

Iron zirconium phosphate (ZPFe) nanoparticles were found to function as an efficient catalyst for the acetylation of a wide range of alcohols and phenols using acetic anhydride, generating good to excellent yields under solvent‐free conditions. The steric and electronic properties of various sub‐strates had a significant influence on the reaction conditions required to achieve the acetylation. The catalyst used in the current study was characterized by inductively coupled plasma‐optical emission spectrometry, X‐ray diffraction, N2 adsorption‐desorption, scanning electron microscopy, and transmission electron microscopy. These analyses revealed that the interlayer distance in the catalyst increased from 7.5 to 9.3 ? when Fe3+was intercalated between the layers, whereas the crystallinity of the material was reduced. This nanocatalyst could also be recovered and reused at least six times without any discernible decrease in its catalytic activity. This new method for the acetylation of alcohols and phenols has several important advantages, including mild and environ‐mentally friendly reaction conditions, as well as good to excellent yields and a facile work‐up.  相似文献

Various heterogeneous catalysts (Lewis acid) have been prepared and screened for the synthesis of Betti bases in an attempt to reduce the environmental hazards associated with the conventional homogeneous Lewis acid system. And we found especially Cu(OTf)2·SiO2 catalyzes the three-component coupling of aldehyde, 2-naphthol, and alicyclic amine to generate Betti base with high efficiency under neat conditions without additional co-catalyst or additive in air. The reaction is not sensitive to water and occurs smoothly in water as well.  相似文献

The solvent-free reaction of ferrocenecarboxaldehyde and diaminoalkanes under solvent-free conditions gave bisferrocenylimines (L) in excellent yields. Cationic rhodium(I) complexes with the formulation [Rh(COD)(L)]ClO4 were prepared by the reaction of [Rh(COD)Cl]2 with the bisferrocenylimines in the presence of silver perchlorate. The compounds were characterised by NMR, IR, MS and elemental analysis. The X-ray crystal structures of two rhodium(I) complexes are also reported.  相似文献
