Solid-phase microextraction coupled with high-performance liquid chromatography was successfully applied to the analysis of nine phenylurea herbicides (metoxuron, monuron, chlorotoluron, isoproturon, monolinuron, metobromuron, buturon, linuron, and chlorbromuron). Polydimethylsiloxane-divinylbenzene (PDMS-DVB, 60 microm) and Carbowax-templated resin (CW-TPR, 50 microm) fibers were selected from four commercial fibers for further study because of their better extraction efficiencies. The parameters of the desorption procedure were studied and optimized. The effects of the properties of analytes and fiber coatings, carryover, duration and temperature of absorption, pH, organic solvent and ionic strength of samples were also investigated. External calibration with an aqueous standard can be used for the analysis of environmental samples (lake water) using either PDMS-DVB or CW-TPR fibers. Good precisions (1.0-5.9%) are achieved for this method, and the detection limits are at the level of 0.5-5.1 ng/ml.  相似文献

Summary A small cartridge containing a drying agent is inserted between a solid phase extraction (SPE) column and a gas chromatograph (GC) to enable the introduction of water-free desorption solvent into the GC in on-line liquid chromatography (LC)-type enrichment of trace-level analytes from water samples. Some characteristics of the drying agents, such as their capacity to retain water and their re-usability after heating, have been tested. Possible interactions of the drying agent with the analytes, e.g., irreversible adsorption or catalyzed degradation, have been checked for a wide range of alkanes, alkylbenzenes chlorobenzenes, chlorophenols and phthalate esters. Using the on-line SPE-GC system with flame ionization detection (FID) and spiked samples containing different levels of the test compounds, the repeatability was shown to be satisfactory (6–17%). For 10 mL samples, the detection limits were lower than 0.1 g/L. The on-line SPE-GC-FID system here presented can be used for the repeated analysis of water samples without exchange of the dyring cartridge. The technique is applied to the analysis of tap water.  相似文献

A new method based on hollow fiber-protected liquid-phase microextraction (LPME) was developed for the simultaneous determination of atrazine, desethyl atrazine and desisopropyl atrazine in environmental water samples. In LPME, analytes were extracted into 1-octanol immobilized in the micropores of a poly(vinylidene fluoride) porous hollow fiber membrane, and back extracted into the acceptor (4 M HCl) filled in the lumen of the hollow fiber. After LPME, the analytes trapped in the acceptor were analyzed with high-performance liquid chromatography after neutralization. The effect of extraction factors such as sample pH, acceptor pH, salinity, extraction time, stirring rate, and humic acid were studied. Under the optimized conditions, the limits of detection and relative standard deviations were respectively in the range of 0.5–1.0 μg L−1 and 3.9–4.7% (n = 5). The proposed method was applied to determine atrazine, desethyl atrazine and desisopropyl atrazine in wastewater and groundwater samples. The three analytes were below the limits of detection, but good relative spiked recoveries over 90.1 ± 5.9% at 5 μg L−1 spiked level were obtained.  相似文献

A method based on in-tube solid-phase microextraction and capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE) was proposed for simultaneously determining four amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, 3,4-methylenedioxyamphetamine, and 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine) in urine. A poly(methacrylic acid-ethylene glycol dimethacrylate) monolithic capillary column, which can provide sufficient extraction efficiency, was introduced for the extraction of amphetamines from urine samples. The hydrophobic main chains and acidic pendant groups of the monolithic column make it a superior material for extraction of basic analytes from aqueous matrix. After extraction, the samples were analyzed by CZE. The best separation was achieved using a buffer composed of 0.1 M disodium hydrogen phosphate (adjusted to pH 4.5 with 1 M hydrochloric acid) and 20% methanol v/v, with a temperature and voltage of 25 degrees C and 20 kV, respectively. By applying electrokinetic injection with field-amplified sample stacking, detection limits of 25-34 microg/L were achieved. Excellent method of reproducibility was found over a linear range of 0.1-5 mg/L. Determination of these analytes from abusers' urine sample was also demonstrated.  相似文献

Sixteen compounds containing the bicyclic moiety (3,8,10-trisubstituted 2,9-dioxo-5-thia-1,8-diazabicyclo[4.4.0]decane) were produced via solid-phase synthesis. Differing substitution at the 3- and 10-positions was used. These were analyzed using 2-D NMR techniques (ROESY) to determine the stereoselectivity of ring formation in the core heterocycle. Conformational analysis of the proposed transition state structure using Sybyl 6.8® was used to rationalize the stereochemical outcome of ring formation.  相似文献

The preparation of an array of benzimidazoles and benzothiazoles from polymer-bound esters is described. Polymer-bound esters were treated with 2-aminothiophenols or 1,2-phenylenediamines in the presence of a Lewis acid to afford the corresponding benzothiazole or benzimidazole cleavage products. The reaction of 2-aminophenols with the polymer-bound esters failed to give the desired benzoxazole products using this procedure.  相似文献

A sequence of two known reactions, palladium catalyzed arylboronation of arybromide and subsequent oxidation of arylboronate with oxone, has been carried out to prepare functionalized phenols and pyridin-2(1H)-one which were later loaded on to resin for solid-phase synthesis. Summary A method is reported for the determination of dibutyltin (DBT), diphenyltin (DPhT), tributyltin (TBT), and triphenyltin (TPhT) species at the nanogram per litre concentration level in natural water samples. Analytes were isolated from samples by solid-phase extraction and analysed both off-line and on-line by reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography with post-column derivatization and fluorimetric detection. Several SPE cartridges and eluents were evaluated; C18 enrichment and elution with a mixture of methanol, acetic acid, and water was found most suitable. Preconcentration factors up to 250 can be achieved when a 500-mL sample is processed. Detection limits, recovery rates, and the precision of the whole process have been determined. The method has been applied to the determination of organotin species in spiked natural water samples collected on the NW Mediterranean coast. Recovery rates range from 75 to 110% and detection limits are at the low ng L−1 level (1–3 ng Sn L−1 for DPhT, DBT, and PhT and 40 ng Sn L−1 for TBT when 250 mL spiked sea water is processed.)  相似文献
