Ionic liquids (ILs) containing the tris(pentafluoroethyl)trifluorophosphate anion [FAP] have attracted increased attention due to their unique properties including ultrahigh hydrophobicity, hydrolytic stability, and wide electrochemical window. In this study, the solvation parameter model is used via gas chromatography to characterize the solvation interactions of seven ILs containing amino, ester, and hydroxyl functional groups appended to the cation and paired with [FAP], as well as three ILs containing the bis[(trifluoromethyl)sulfonyl]imide anion [NTf2]. The role of the functional groups, nature of the counter anion, and cation type on the system constants were evaluated. ILs containing [FAP] possessed lower hydrogen bond basicity than NTf2-based ILs having the same cationic component; in the case of hydroxyl-functionalized cations, the presence of [FAP] led to an enhancement of the hydrogen bond acidity, relative to the NTf2-analogs. The system constants support the argument that [FAP] weakly coordinates the cation and any appended functional groups, promoting properties of the cation which might be masked by stronger interactions with other anion systems. The chromatographic performance of the IL stationary phases was evaluated by examining the retention behavior and separation selectivity for chosen analytes. The results from this work can be used as a guide for choosing FAP-based ILs capable of exhibiting desired solvation properties while retaining important physical properties including high thermal stability and high hydrophobicity. Comprehensive two-dimensional liquid chromatography (LC×LC) has received a great deal of attention during the past few years because of its extraordinary resolving power. The biggest advantage of this technique is that very high peak capacities can be generated in a relatively short time. Numerous approaches to maximize the peak capacity in LC×LC have been employed. In this work we investigate the impact of the first dimension mobile phase on selectivity. LC×LC has several potential advantages over one-dimensional LC (1DLC) in that unconventional solvents, at least in reversed-phase LC, can be used. For example, solvents which strongly adsorb in the UV in the first dimension are not problematic in LC×LC. This so because the UV detector is placed after the second dimensional column, as pulses of the first dimension eluent arrive at the second dimensional column, they elute well before the solutes of interest and therefore do not interfere at all with detection of solute peaks. So far, the most widely used solvents in reversed-phase 1DLC are methanol and acetonitrile. However, the "UV advantage" of 2DLC allows us to employ UV active solvents, such as acetone. We compare their differential selectivities to that of acetonitrile for the separation of 23 indole acetic acids of interest in plant biology. We also apply them to the separation of a maize seed extract, a very complex sample. In both sample sets, mobile phase composition can be an important parameter to increase the orthogonality of the two dimensions and thus, to increase the effective peak capacity of LC×LC.  相似文献

采用不同还原剂(甲醛、甲酸、硼氢化钾和氢气),或于还原Pt(IV)过程中引入少量Pt/AC(AC:活性炭)催化剂“催化”氢气分子,制备了Pt/AC催化剂。其催化氢化硝基苯制对氢基酚的反应结果表明,制备催化剂时所用的还原剂对催化剂的活性影响很大,但对反应选择性影响较小。用甲醛、甲酸和硼氢化钾还原制成的催化剂的活性皆较高;以氢气还原制得的催化剂活性较差;采用“催化”氢气还原法,可大大提高Pt/AC催化剂的活性,与传统甲醛还原法相比,甲酸和“催化”氢气还原制备Pt/AC催化剂的方法较简便、有效。  相似文献

The selective oxidation of aromatic and aliphatic organosulfides with H2O2/H2O catalyzed by metal free ammonium salts has been explored. Reactions were performed using 2.5–5 mol % of catalyst loadings, isolating the corresponding sulfoxides in good to excellent yields (75–93%) and high selectivity.  相似文献

Capture of CO2 from flue gases produced by the combustion of fossil fuels and biomass in air is referred to as post-combustion capture. Chemisorbent processes are considered to be the most feasible method and are already at an advanced stage of development, but gas separation membranes are attracting more and more attention as a possible alternative. This paper describes a detailed parametric study of mass and energy balances for a simulated single membrane process. Typical operating conditions (CO2 concentration in the flue gas, pressure and temperature, etc.) together with the influence of the membrane quality (permeability, selectivity) and membrane area on membrane performance (CO2 separation degree and CO2 purity) are simulated over a wide range of parameters.  相似文献

Polar groups in the skeletons of conjugated microporous polymers (CMPs) play an important role in determining their porosity and gas sorption performance. Understanding the effect of the polar group on the properties of CMPs is essential for further advances in this field. To address this fundamental issue, we used benzene, the simplest aromatic system, as a monomer for the construction of two novel CMPs with multi-carboxylic acid groups in their skeletons (CMP-COOH@1 and CMP-COOH@2). We then explored the profound effect the amount of free carboxylic acid in each polymer had on their porosity, isosteric heat, gas adsorption, and gas selectivity. CMP-COOH@1 and CMP-COOH@2 showed Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) surface areas of 835 and 765 m2·g-1, respectively, displaying high potential for carbon dioxide storage applications. CMP-COOH@1 and CMP-COOH@2 exhibited CO2 capture capabilities of 2.17 and 2.63 mmol·g-1 (at 273 K and 1.05 × 105 Pa), respectively, which were higher than those of their counterpart polymers, CMP-1 and CMP-2, which showed CO2 capture capabilities of 1.66 and 2.28 mmol·g-1, respectively. Our results revealed that increasing the number of carboxylic acid groups in polymers could improve their adsorption capacity and selectivity.  相似文献

Morpholine amides are cheap and safe alternative to Weinreb amides as acylating agents of organometallic species. Herein, the in-situ lithiation/borylation of 18 ortho- meta- and para-substituted morpholine benzamides has been investigated. 10 of the 18 substrates provided the desired boronic esters as the major isomer (>90% regioselectivity) in crude isolated yields ranging from 68 to 93%. The synthetic usability of such building blocks was subsequently illustrated via the synthesis of a kinase inhibitor.  相似文献

The time-resolved ion-induced voltages obtained from multiphoton ionization (MPI) in gases were applied, for the first time, together with time-resolved laser-induced fluorescence (TR-LIF) for fast detection of organic compounds in ambient air. The target compounds were polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and nitroaromatics. The concepts of the proposed method are presented and examined. It is shown that the MPI signals allow for estimation of the molecular weight, while the fluorescence data supply additional quantitative and qualitative information. A 3D data presentation is suggested for obtaining selectivity. The proposed dimensions are the MPI-based mass estimation, the maximum LIF wavelength and the measured fluorescence lifetime. Since all required data are acquired simultaneously and since the setup can be continuously operated, this analytical concept is suggested for on-line applications. The common air components are not ionized at the selected wavelengths and only the organic pollutants are detected under these conditions. Moreover, it is shown that the resonant MPI mode provides a certain level of selectivity. Therefore, this setup may become the basis of an air sniffer.  相似文献
