Tafel slopes for multistep electrochemical reactions are derived from first principles. The derivation takes place in two stages. First, Dirac’s perturbation theory is used to solve the Schrödinger equation. Second, current–voltage curves are obtained by integrating the single-state results over the full density of states in electrolyte solutions. Thermal equilibrium is assumed throughout. Somewhat surprisingly, it is found that the symmetry factor that appears in the Butler–Volmer equation is different from the symmetry factor that appears in electron transfer theory, and a conversion formula is given. From the Heisenberg uncertainty relation in conjunction with partial transposition, we derive a class of inequalities for detecting entanglements in four-mode states. The sufficient conditions for bipartite entangled states are presented. We also discuss the generalization of the entanglement conditions via the Schrödinger-Robertson indeterminacy relation, which are in general stronger than those based on the Heisenberg uncertainty relation. 相似文献

The main object of this paper is to analyze the recent results obtained on the Neumann realization of the Schrödinger operator in the case of dimension 3 by Lu and Pan. After presenting a short treatment of their spectral analysis of keymodels, we show briefly how to implement the techniques of Helffer-Morame in order to give some localization of the ground state.
