Improvements in the Multiplex Sample NMR method are investigated to explore its capabilities of analyzing multiple samples simultaneously. Issues of quantitation and resolution in the multiple-coil probe are examined in one- and two-dimensional experiments. Improvements in quantitation are shown to result from the use of reference deconvolution for one-dimensional experiments, while the use of two-dimensional methods has much improved resolution and shows the potential for significantly increased parallelism. A multiplicative scheme is shown to be an easily implemented, effective method for generating individual sub-spectra from individual samples.  相似文献

Molecular inclusion of guest molecules within CDs is known to alter guest molecule spectrophotometric absorptivity, making their determination, based on spectrophotometric data, inaccurate. Therefore specific analytical methods capable of quantifying the drugs as free molecules must be developed and validated. SPE was selected to simplify sample and avoid more time‐consuming alternatives. A new solid phase was synthesized and characterized by infrared spectrometry, differential scanning calorimetry and elemental analysis. The competitive complexation of adamantane groups immobilized on the silica substrate facilitates drug:CD complex dissociation and elimination of CD from samples. The drug molecules, now free from CD, can be easily analysed by an already available HPLC method. This new SPE loading material was employed in the determination of ketoprofen in its CD complex as a representative example of the utility of this novel material. The calculated analytical errors were reduced from a maximum of 20.79% (without SPE) to a minimum of 3.99%.  相似文献

The effect of the solute sample size on the measurement of temperature-programmed retention indices (ITP) has been studied on glass capillary columns with different stationary phases, film thicknesses, and temperature programs. The sample capacity of a solute is little affected by the parameters of temperature program, i. e. initial temperature and heating rate. However, it has been found that in a temperature programmed run, allowable sample sizes for high ITP values are lower than for low ITP values. About 10 ng of each compound is recommended as the sample size for accurate measurement of ITP values on commonly used capillary columns.  相似文献

Typically, ionic species in thermotropic liquid crystals are nearly fully ionised. Therefore, the concentration of mobile ions practically does not depend on the temperature. Interestingly, the same liquid crystals doped with nanoparticles exhibit totally different behaviour. The concentration of mobile ions become temperature dependent. This paper reports the effects of the temperature on the concentration of ions in liquid crystal nanocolloids. Liquid crystals doped with both 100% pure and contaminated nanoparticles are considered. Regardless the ionic purity of nanodopants, the concentration of mobile ions in liquid crystal nanocolloids increases towards the saturation as their temperature goes up. The magnitude of this saturation level equals the initial concentration of ions in liquid crystals doped with 100% pure nanoparticles. The temperature induced release of ions by contaminated nanoparticles in liquid crystals increases the above-mentioned saturation level. While the dispersion of 100% pure nanoparticles in liquid crystals leads to the temperature-dependent purification only, the use of contaminated nanoparticles results in the temperature-driven switching between the purification and contamination regimes enabling thermal control of ions.  相似文献

本文在简要介绍固定活塞式薄壁取土器取土技术基础上,详尽分析了在连云港、赤湾港和广深路所进行的软粘土取土技术对比试验结果。试验结果表明,土样扰动对于室内所测定的力学性指标影响极大,但对物理性指标影响不大。研究结果还有力地证明,只要操作正确,采用薄壁取土器能取得高质量土样,而采用敞口式厚壁取土器取出的土样扰动较大。  相似文献

Very different filtration and preservation procedures may be found in the literature on the study of the rainwater dissolved organic fraction. Thus, the influence of sample filtration and preservation procedures on the fluorescence of rainwater dissolved organic matter (DOM) was studied in this work. Rainwater was filtered through different filters (quartz 0.22 μm or PVDF 0.45 μm) and excitation (λem = 415 nm) and synchronous (Δλ = 70 nm) fluorescence spectra were obtained at the same day of collection, or after preservation by refrigeration (1-7 days) or by freezing (1-4 weeks). The excitation-emission matrix (EEM) spectra of rainwater showed six types of fluorescent bands: two corresponding to humic-like bands, and four resembling proteins. Then, the excitation and synchronous spectra were chosen in order to monitor changes in the humic-like and protein-like bands, respectively. The filtration procedures adopted in this work did not affect the fluorescence properties of the rainwater samples. However, these properties were differently preserved by refrigeration or freezing: after refrigeration, filtered rainwater maintained the original fluorescent properties for at least 4 days, while after freezing fluorescent properties were not always preserved since it occurred a decrease of protein-like fluorescence intensity.  相似文献

This paper reports on investigations into interferences with the measurements of nanomolar nitrate + nitrite and soluble reactive phosphate (SRP) in oceanic surface seawater using a segmented continuous flow autoanalyser (SCFA) interfaced with a liquid-waveguide capillary flow-cell (LWCC). The interferences of silicate and arsenate with the analysis of SRP, the effect of sample filtration on the measurement of nanomolar nitrate + nitrite and SRP concentrations, and the stability of samples during storage are described.The investigation into the effect of arsenate (concentrations up to 100 nM) on phosphate analysis (concentrations up to 50 nM) indicated that the arsenate interference scaled linearly with phosphate concentrations, resulting in an overestimation of SRP concentrations of 4.6 ± 1.4% for an assumed arsenate concentration of 20 nM. The effect of added Si(OH)4 was to increase SRP signals by up to 36 ± 19 nM (at 100 μM Si(OH)4). However, at silicate concentrations below 1.5 μM, which are typically observed in oligotrophic surface ocean waters, the effect of silicate on the phosphate analysis was much smaller (≤0.78 ± 0.15 nM change in SRP). Since arsenate and silicate interferences vary between analytical approaches used for nanomolar SRP analysis, it is important that the interferences are systematically assessed in any newly developed analytical system.Filtration of surface seawater samples resulted in a decrease in concentration of 1.7-2.7 nM (±0.5 nM) SRP, and a small decrease in nitrate concentrations which was within the precision of the method (±0.6 nM). A stability study indicated that storage of very low concentration nutrient samples in the dark at 4 °C for less than 24 h resulted in no statistically significant changes in nutrient concentrations. Freezing unfiltered surface seawater samples from an oligotrophic ocean region resulted in a small but significant increase in the SRP concentration from 12.0 ± 1.3 nM (n = 3) to 14.7 ± 0.6 nM (n = 3) (Student's t-test; p = 0.021). The corresponding change in nitrate concentration was not significant (Student's t-test; p > 0.05).  相似文献
