Thermal decomposition of struvite

Struvite (NH₄MgPO₄·6H₂O) is a mineral often found in urinary tracts and kidneys. Thermal decomposition using slow low heating shows that the 'kidney' stone can be decomposed at temperatures below 40°C. At this temperature both ammonia and water are evolved. If more rapid heating is employed the decomposition occurs at around 80°C. The implication of this work rests with the use of low slow heat for the decomposition of the kidney stones. This revised version was published online in July 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.     

SYNTHESIS OF THE NOVEL CHIRAL POLYMERS WITH MULTIDENTATE LIGAND AND RESOLUTION OF DL-AMINO ACIDS

A new way for synthesizing styrenic type of chiral resins grafting to multidentate ligand has been found. The synthetic scheme is proved to be practical by means of elemental anaysis, IR spectra and metal adsorbility. The resolving power of the new chiral ligand resins coordinated with copper (Ⅱ) as stationary phases has been discussed based on HPLC, and some points of view about the compositions of mobil phase and mechanism of resolution are presented.     

Resolution of enantiomers by HPLC on cellulose derivatives

Summary Various polysaccharide derivatives, particularly cellulose derivatives, were synthesized and used as chiral stationary phases for optical resolution by HPLC after being adsorbed on macroporous silica gel. Cellulose triacetate (CTA-II), which was synthesized under homogeneous conditions, showed a chiral recognition ability for many racemates. Other cellulose derivatives such as cellulose tribenzoate (OB), cellulose-trisphenylcarbamate (OC), cellulose tribenzyl ether (OE), and cellulose tricinnamate (OK) also showed unique chiral recognition. Among other polysaccharide derivatives, curdlan triacetate was also exhibited an effective chiral recognition. Multivariate resolution of NMR labile signals by means of hard- and soft-modelling methods

One of the difficulties frequently encountered when studying acid–base equilibria with NMR spectroscopy is the labile behaviour of the measured signal, which hinders the application of bilinear multivariate data analysis methods. In this work, a mathematical transformation is proposed for the conversion of NMR labile signals to inert signals, which make possible the application of multivariate data analysis methods, based on bilinear data models. The procedure has been applied to the analysis of NMR data corresponding to the acid–base equilibria of nucleotides dCMP and dGMP. Both hard-modelling (EQUISPEC) and soft-modelling (MCR-ALS) approaches have been applied for the analysis and resolution of transformed bilinear NMR data matrices.     

LC-MS法分析鸡肝中的玉米赤霉醇

玉米赤霉醇(Zeranol)是一种非甾体类激素,具有促进家畜蛋白质合成和增重的作用。由于其在动物组织中残留,目前在欧盟被禁用。2002年4月我国农业部第193号公告和2002年11月农业部、国家药品监督管理局第227号公告中规定禁止使用玉米赤霉醇,但由于玉米赤霉醇作为畜禽增重剂效果好、经济回报高,仍有一些不法饲养业主受利益驱使而违法使用。为保证动物源性食品安全,维护人民身体健康,必须建立一种适用、可行、规范的残留检测方法以适应当前加入WTO的形势需要。本实验建立了高效液相色谱-质谱联用法(LC-MS)测定鸡肝中玉米赤霉醇,旨在为政府监控禽类产品中的玉米赤霉醇提供准确可靠的检测方法。     

TiZSM—48型分子筛的快速合成及性能

在Na_2O-1.6-C_6H_(14)N_2-SiO_2-TiO_2-H_2O体系中首次用快速动态法和静态法合成了TiZSM-48型分子筛,考察了两种合成方法的晶化动力学。利用XRD、IR、XPS、SEM、DRS、TG-DTA等测试手段对TiZSM-48型分子筛进行了表征,结果表明,Ti进入了分子筛骨架,动态法合成比静态法合成快得多,且样品的晶粒较小。热分析表明,两种方法合成的样品热稳定性均较好。     

Synthesis of stereocontrolled α,α-difluoro-β-hydroxycarbonyl materials

Synthesis and synthetic utilities of stereocontrolled α,α-difluoro-β-hydroxy-γ,δ-unsaturated carbonyl compounds via enzymatic resolution with lipase PS (Pseudomonas cepacia, Amano Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd.) or lipase MY (Candida rugosa, Meito Sangyo Co. Ltd.) were described, and then the absolute configuration of obtained chiral materials was determined by the modified Mosher's method.
