Phase transition properties of a spin-1 Blume-Emery-Griffiths model (BEGM) with random transverse crystal field is studied by the effective field theory for a simple cubic lattice. In T−Dx space, we obtain the phase diagrams with the ratio α between the biquadratic interaction and the exchange interaction as well as a tunable parameter l of the transverse crystal field. The tricritical point (TCP) appears at α<0, which undergoes a crossover from positive to negative direction of the transverse crystal field when l<0. The TCP cannot be observed for α>0. The maximum critical temperature increases with the increase of α. The position of the peak value tends to the drift of negative or positive direction for a different magnitude or an imperfect (±) transverse crystal field distribution. In T−α space, the range of ordered phase is magnified when the ratio is changed from α<0 to α>0. The random transverse crystal field obviously affects the TCP. 相似文献

An image encryption is discussed based on the random phase encoding method in gyrator domains. An iterative structure of image encryption is designed for introducing more random phases to encrypt image. These random phase functions are generated by a two-dimensional chaotic mapping with the help of computer. The random phases are utilized for increasing the security of this encryption algorithm. In the chaotic mapping relation, the initial value and expression can serve as the key of algorithm. The mapping relation is considered secretly for storage and transmission in practical application in comparison to traditional algorithms. The angle parameter of gyrator transform is an additional key. Some numerical simulations have been given to validate the performance of the encryption scheme. 相似文献

We present a detail study of the effect of excess metal atoms on the magnetic properties of Cu1+xCr2+yTe4 at 2-400 K. With the increase in x=0-1 and y<0.3, these compounds retain metallic behavior, while ferromagnetic ordering temperature reduces from 325 to 160 K. Our low field susceptibility χac measurements reveal a second transition on cooling below the ferromagnetic ordering; the transition at around 160-180 K intensifies with the excess amount of copper and chromium atoms. The value of spontaneous magnetization at 2 K remains between 2.6 and 2.9μB across all the compositions and it reduces with temperature as M(T)∼A0T3/2+A1T5/2, as expected for the excitation of Bloch's spin waves in a model of the Heisenberg ferromagnet. Our terminal composition Cu1.9Cr2.25Te4 showed only second transition at 160 K with short range magnetic order much above the transition temperature and in the absence of the specific heat jump at this temperature. The magnetic properties are explained as a result of random magnetic anisotropy in the excess-metal compositions induced by the interstitial atomic defects in their parent spinel structure. The large stuffing of cations has been made possible in the telluride compounds because of the large size of tellurium and also by the covalent bonding that stabilizes the defect structure. 相似文献

In this Letter we compare the characteristics of two types of the intermittent behavior (type-I intermittency in the presence of noise and eyelet intermittency taking place in the vicinity of the chaotic phase synchronization boundary) supposed hitherto to be different phenomena. We show that these effects are the same type of dynamics observed under different conditions. The correctness of our conclusion is confirmed by the consideration of different sample systems, such as quadratic map, Van der Pol oscillator and Rössler system. Consideration of the problem concerning the upper boundary of the intermittent behavior also confirms the validity of the statement on the equivalence of type-I intermittency in the presence of noise and eyelet intermittency observed in the onset of phase synchronization. 相似文献

The one-cut case of the Hermitian random matrix model in the large N limit is considered. Its singular sector in the space of coupling constants is analyzed from the point of view of the hodograph equations of the underlying dispersionless Toda hierarchy. A deep connection with the singular sector of the hodograph equations of the 1-layer Benney (classical long wave equation) hierarchy is stablished. To minimize traffic congestion, understanding how traffic dynamics depend on network structure is necessary. Many real-world complex systems can be described as multilayer structures. In this paper, we introduce the idea of layers to establish a traffic model of two-layer complex networks. By comparing different two-layer complex networks based on random and scale-free networks, we find that the physical layer is much more important to the network capacity of two-layer complex networks than the logical layer. Two-layer complex networks with a homogeneous physical topology are found to be more tolerant to congestion. Moreover, simulation results show that the heterogeneity of logical and physical topologies makes the packet-delivery process of two-layer networks more efficient in the free-flow state, without the occurrence of traffic congestion. 相似文献

Over recent years there has been an accumulation of evidence that many animal behaviours are characterised by common scale-invariant patterns of switching between two contrasting activities over a period of time. This is evidenced in mammalian wake-sleep patterns, in the intermittent stop-start locomotion of Drosophila fruit flies, and in the Lévy walk movement patterns of a diverse range of animals in which straight-line movements are punctuated by occasional turns. Here it is shown that these dynamics can be modelled by a stochastic variant of Barabási’s model [A.-L. Barabási, The origin of bursts and heavy tails in human dynamics, Nature 435 (2005) 207-211] for bursts and heavy tails in human dynamics. The new model captures a tension between two competing and conflicting activities. The durations of one type of activity are distributed according to an inverse-square power-law, mirroring the ubiquity of inverse-square power-law scaling seen in empirical data. The durations of the second type of activity follow exponential distributions with characteristic timescales that depend on species and metabolic rates. This again is a common feature of animal behaviour. Bursty human dynamics, on the other hand, are characterised by power-law distributions with scaling exponents close to −1 and −3/2. 相似文献
