Carbonyldinitrosyltris(fluorosulfato)tungstate(II) and ‐molybdate‐(II) anions, [fac‐M(CO)(NO)2(SO3F)3]? (M=W, Mo), which are novel weakly coordinating anions that contain a metal carbonyl/nitrosyl moiety, have been generated in fluorosulfonic acid and completely characterized by multinuclear NMR, IR, and Raman spectroscopy as well as ESI mass spectrometry. ESI MS measurements performed for the first time on a superacidic solution system unambiguously reveal the formation of the monoanionic, mononuclear W and Mo complexes formulated as [M(CO)(NO)2(SO3F)3]? (M=W, Mo). Multinuclear NMR spectroscopic studies at natural abundance and 13C and 15N enrichment clearly indicate the presence of one CO ligand, two equivalent NO ligands, and two types of nonequivalent SO3F? groups in a 2:1 ratio. The IR and Raman spectra reveal that the two equivalent NO ligands have a cis conformation, thus indicating a fac structure. Density functional calculations at the B3LYP level of theory predict that these anions have a singlet ground state (1A′) with a Cs symmetry along with C–O and N–O vibrational frequencies that are in agreement with the experimental observations. Mulliken population analysis shows that the monovalent negative charge is dispersed on the bulky sphere, the surface of which is covered by all the negatively charged O and F atoms with charge densities much lower than SO3F?, suggesting that [fac‐M(CO)(NO)2(SO3F)3]? (M=W, Mo) are weakly nucleophilic and poorly coordinating anions.  相似文献

2,3,6,7-Tetrahydro-as-indacene-1,8-dione 4 was prepared in 4 steps starting from 2-methyl-furan by modification of a literature procedure. Appliance of Noyori’s asymmetric transfer hydrogenation, resulted in (1S,8S)-1,2,3,6,7,8-hexahydro-as-indacene-1,8-diol 5 in high yield (81%) and excellent enantioselectivity (>99% ee) or (8S)-8-hydroxy-3,6,7,8-tetrahydro-2H-as-indacen-1-one 6 in moderate yield (58%) and equally high enantioselectivity (98.5% ee), depending on the conditions. The asymmetric reduction was expected to yield the (S)-alcohols using the (S,S)-Ts-DPEN ligand, which was confirmed by the appliance of the exciton chirality method on the corresponding bis(p-dimethylamino)benzoate 7.  相似文献

It has been proven qualitatively by a number of authors using variable temperature NMR experiments that most metal carbonyl complexes are nonrigid. A quantitative determination of the ligand exchange frequency ve is often achieved by a line shape analysis or by measurement of the transverse relaxation time T2 using the Carr-Purcell method. In the case of a “very fast” exchange, however, both methods prove unsuccessful. It is shown in this study that a simultaneous fit of IR or Raman spectra on the one hand and NMR spectra on the other can make possible the determination of ve for the “very fast” exchange and can also facilitate the determination of ve in “slow” and “medium” exchange cases considerably. The ligand exchange frequency thus found for Fe(CO)5, 1.1 × 1010s?1, is unexpectedly high; comparison with variable temperature measurements on solid Fe(CO)5, yields similar energy barriers. A mechanism of exchange closely related to the “Berry mechanism” is proposed. Finally the consequences of this surprisingly large ligand exchange rate are discussed with respect to IR band assignments for molecular “fragments” M(CO)x (where x=coordination number, and M is a transition metal, typically lanthanoid or actinoid).  相似文献

A hydrothermal reaction of a mixture of ZnCO3, phosphoric acid, 1, 10‐phenanthroline in H2O gave rise to large plates of a new zinc phosphate, [(C12H8N2Zn)2(HPO4)(H2PO4)2], I . The structure consists of ZnO3N2 distorted trigonal‐bipyramidal and PO4 tetrahedral units linked through their vertices to give rise to a zero‐dimensional molecular solid (monomer). The structure of the monomer appears to be similar to the secondary building unit (SBU) 4 = 1, commonly found in many fibrous zeolites. To our knowledge, this is the first time this building unit has been isolated. The structure, with a unique composition, is stabilized by hydrogen bond interactions between the terminal —OH groups forms a one‐dimensional molecular wire and also by strong π…π interactions between the 1, 10‐phenanthroline units. Photoluminescence studies show that there is a ligand‐to‐metal charge transfer (LMCT). Binuclear RhIII and RuII complexes of the [M1-CN-M2]+BF 4 (M1 and/or M2 are (5-Cp)(3-C3H5)Rh and (6-C6H6)(3-C3H5)Ru) type, heteronuclear organometallic compound (5-Cp)(3-C3H5)RhCNPd(3-C3H5)Cl, and mononuclear RhIII and RuII complexes [(3-C3H5)LM(MeCN)]+ BF4 (M = Rh, L = 5-Cp; M = Ru, L = 6-C6H6) were synthesized. An electrochemical study of these compounds in solutions demonstrates that the bond between the bridged CN ligand and the metal atoms is rather strong, and there is no dissociation into mononuclear fragments in solutions. The kinetics of the reaction of [(5-Cp)(3-C3H5)Rh(MeCN)]+ BF4 with halide ions was studied by electrochemical methods. Among the bisphosphine ligands, we have previously developed Cn-TunePhos (n = 1-6) as a family of ligands with tunable bite angles. The increase in spacer -CH2- groups in this family of ligands causes changes in ligand dihedral angle, which in turn causes P-Pd-P bite angle variation. Pd-catalyzed asymmetric alkylations and cycloadditions have been tested with Cn-TunePhos ligands. This study aims at a possible correlation between ligand bite angles with enantioselectivity of the Pd-catalyzed asymmetric products.  相似文献

The interactions of [Pt(CNN)(4-dpt)]PF(6), (1; 4-dpt=2,4-diamino-6-(4-pyridyl)-1,3,5-triazine, HCNN=6-phenyl-2,2'-bipyridine) with double-stranded DNA, poly(dA-dT)(2), and poly(dG-dC)(2) were examined by spectroscopic, electrophoretic, and hydrodynamic methods. The spectroscopic data were analyzed with McGhee, van't Hoff, and Gibbs-Helmholtz equations. In a comparative study, [Pt(CNN)(py)]PF(6) (2; py=pyridine) was prepared and the nature of its binding towards DNA was investigated [preliminary results: ChemBioChem 2003, 4, 62-68]. For reactions with calf thymus DNA at 20 degrees C, the intrinsic binding constants for 1 and 2 are (4.6+/-0.2)x10(5) and (2.3+/-0.3)x10(4) mol(-1) dm(3), respectively. Results of DNA-binding reactions revealed that 1 and 2 preferentially bind to the AT sequence of duplex DNA. Intercalation is the preferred binding mode for 2, whereas both intercalation and minor-groove binding are observed for 1. Complex 1 is cytotoxic against a number of carcinoma cell lines, including KB-3-1, CNE-3, and HepG2, and remains potent against multidrug- or cisplatin-resistant KB-V-1 and CNE1 cell lines, for which the resistance ratios are 1.6 and 1.5, respectively. Importantly, 1 is almost an order of magnitude less toxic to the normal cell line CCD-19Lu (IC(50)=176+/-1.7 microM) and it selectively induced apoptosis leading to cancer cell death with less than 5 % detectable necrosis.  相似文献
