OXAZOLIDONES ET DIOXOLONNES DU GERMANIUM (IV) ET (II) DU PHOSPHORE (III), DE L'ARSENIC (III) ET DU SOUFRE

Abstract

Diffèrents modes de synthèse d'oxazolidones 1.2.4-7 et de dioxolonnes 8-11 germaniées sont décrites.

La stabilité thermique de germadioxolonnes a été étudiée. La décomposition procède d'un méchanisme du type (2 + 2 + 1), avec ouverture du cycle et formation de germylène.

La réactivité chimique des oxazolidones et dioxolonnes germaniées a été étudité. Des réactions d'échange avec des dérives organominéraux dichlorés conduit facilement et avec de bons rendements aux derives isologues, phosphorés(III). arseniés(III), soufrés. ou germaniés(IV). La réaction d'échange entre une dioxolonne germaniée et le dichlorogermylène nous a permis d'obtenir un nouveau germylène fonctionnel cyclique stable 20 qui a été caractérisé par spectrographie (RMN ¹H. masse).

Different synthetic ways for germaoxazolidones 1.2.4-7 or dioxolonnes 8-11 have been described.

The thermal stability of germadioxolonnes has been studied. Decomposition occurs by a [2 + 2 + 1] ring opening with formation of germylene.

The chemical reactivity of germaoxazolidones or dioxolonnes has been studied. Exchange reactions with dihalogenated covalent compounds occur readily lcading to phosphorus(III). arsenic(III). sulphur or germanium(IV) analogs.

From dichlorogermylene, new stable fonctionnal cyclic germylene 20 is obtained and characterized.     

POLY(10-UNDECENOIC ACID) AND SOME OF ITS DERIVATIVES

Commercially available 10-undecenoic acid was esterified with 2,5-dimethylphenol. After the supply of ester was properly complexed, it was polymerized in quantities and in high yield to high molcular polymers. The polymeric esters were hydrolyzed with base to the acid salt, which were converted to the acids. Reactions with 1,1′-carbonyldiimidazole gave polyethylene-based polymeric imidazolids.     

K2CO3-Promoted Domino Reactions for Synthesis of Isocoumarins Under Microwave Irradiation

A small library of isocoumarin derivatives has been synthesized via K₂CO₃-catalyzed domino reactions of 2-carboxybenzaldehyde and ω-bromoacetophenones under microwave irradiation (MW). This strategy offers a simple, environmentally acceptable route to synthesize isocoumarin derivatives in moderate to excellent yields. All new compounds were characterized by ¹H NMR, ¹³C NMR, infrared, and high-resolution mass spectroscopic techniques.     

Convenient One‐Pot Procedures for the Synthesis of 2,2′:6′,2″‐Terpyridine

One‐pot reactions to produce 2,2′:6′,2″‐terpyridine (tpy) under mild conditions are described under both solventless and solvent‐assisted conditions. Tpy can be obtained in 32% yield in a simple one‐pot reaction, which can readily be scaled‐up to give large quantities of tpy. These new approaches are superior to those previously described because of the fast and efficient synthesis and purification of tpy.     

Advances in the Bestmann–Ohira Reagent–Assisted Regioselective Synthesis of Substituted Pyrazoles,Triazoles, and Oxazoles

The Bestmann–Ohira reagent serves as a versatile platform for the regioselective construction of pyrazoles, triazoles, and oxazoles via a cycloaddition reaction and multicomponent reaction. In this review, we have summarized the most significant advances in the Bestmann–Ohira reagent (BOR)–assisted construction of functionalized five–membered heterocycles reported in the literature up to 2012.     

Prins Cyclization of Styrenes or Acetophenone Catalyzed by DBSA in Water

Dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid (DBSA) was proved to be an efficient catalyst for Prins cyclization of styrenes and formaldehyde or acetaldehyde in water. A tandem dehydration/Prins cyclization reaction using a tertiary alcohol and formaldehyde as substrates proceeded very well by using DBSA as catalyst. Acetophenone, which is less reactive compared with styrene, can also react with formaldehyde when catalyzed by DBSA in water to afford 1,3-dioxan-5-ylphenylmethanone in good yield.     

Cascade reaction for 3-pyrrolines and pyrroles from nitroallylic acetates and N-mesyl 2-aminoethanones

Cascade reactions of nitroallylic acetates with methanesulfonyl 2-aminoethanones affords either the 3-pyrrolines or the pyrroles in one pot depending on reaction solvents and temperature. A possible mechanism for the entire sequence is proposed.     

Solvent-Free Mechanochemical Synthesis of Aryl Glycosides[ 1 ]

Aryl glycosides have been prepared from a range of readily available glycosyl halides by a solvent-free mechanochemical procedure employing a planetary ball mill in excellent yields. Besides being a solvent-free reaction, the procedure has been successful in eliminating the need for employing any phase-transfer catalyst in the reaction.     

Odorless Preparation of Thioglycosides and Thio‐Michael Adducts of Carbohydrate Derivatives

A general, odorless, one‐pot methodology has been developed for the preparation of 1,2‐trans‐thioglycosides and thio‐Michael addition products of carbohydrate derivatives through triphenyl phosphine‐mediated cleavage of disulfides and reaction of the thiolate formed in situ with glycosyl bromides and glycosyl conjugated alkenes.
