Divinylbenzene-80 (DVB-80) and polar monomer acrylic acid (AA) having hydrogen bonding at a total monomer loading of 5 vol% were precipitated-copolymerized in a variety of organic solvents with 2,2'-azobis(isobutyronitrile) (AIBN) as initiator. The experiments were investigated from a two-dimensional matrix, i.e., the actual crosslinking degree of DVB varying from 0 to 80% and the solvent composition varying from 0 to 100% of toluene mixture with acetonitrile, when the mixture of acetonitrile and toluene was used as the reaction solvent. Under various reaction conditions, six distinct morphologies including soluble polymers, swellable microgels, coagulum, irregular microparticles, and nano-/micrometer microspheres were formed and the structures of these polymer architectures were described. A morphological map was utilized to discuss the effects of both crosslinking degree of DVB and composition of solvent on the transitions between morphology domains. The results demonstrated that the microspheres are formed by an internal contraction due to the marginal solvency of the continuous phase and the crosslinking of the polymer network through the covalent bonding from DVB as well as the interchain hydrogen-bonding between the carboxylic acid units. 相似文献

The reaction of the tetranuclear cyanide aquo complex [{Pt(CN)4Cu(bipy)(H2O)}2]· 2H2O with aqueous ammonia produces the new tetranuclear ammino-containing product [{Pt(CN)4Cu(bipy)(NH3)}2] (1), with terminal cyanide groups and with NH3 coordinated to the Cu atom. The distorted trigonal bipyramidal coordination about copper in 1 differs from the square-pyramidal coordination present in the starting material. The bipyridine ligand in 1 is nearly perpendicular to the tetranuclear core of the molecule, as opposed to its coplanar disposition in the aquo complex. The two platinum atoms of the tetranuclear core in 1 form Pt···Pt interactions of 3. 2390(8) Å with platinum atoms of neighboring molecules, producing an echelon-shaped supramolecular chain held together by staggered (CN)4Pt···Pt(CN)4 linkages, an aggregate structure which does not have a precedent in chemistry derived from the Pt(CN)4 building block. 相似文献

Voltammetry of immobilized microparticles was used to study the electrochemistry of the raw pigments that produce the metallic lustre on ceramics after a successful firing. To study this influence of the mixture components on the reduction properties to achieve the metallic lustre, 14 mixtures of illitic clay, Fe2O3, HgS, CuO and AgNO3 were prepared and studied in different media. Iron oxide improves the yield of the reduction of the metals and cinnabar helps a closer reduction of silver to copper reduction and prevents the Ag? Cu alloying because of the formation of silver–mercury adducts. The presence of one of the metals influences the peak position of the other metal. The use of vinegar as diluting agent is not casual, because in this media the reduction of silver takes place at a potential closer to the copper. This electroanalytical technique allowed to distinguish between powders of different composition and offered some information about the role of the components in the reduction of copper and silver and the selection of vinegar to prepare the raw pigment suspensions. 相似文献

The thermal decomposition of the Pt(II) complexes with cyclobutane-and cycloheptanespiro-5′-hydantoins were studied by TG
and DTA techniques. The Pt(II) complex with cyclobutanespiro-5′hydantoin (PtCBH) was stable up to 115°C (388 K) and Pt(II)

Neutrino induced transition rates from205Tl to excited states in205Pb were calculated for neutrino fluxes from the different hydrogen burning reactions in the sun. Suppression factors for electron neutrinos due to flavor oscillations in the sun were obtained. The thermo-programmed reduction study of
Pt/WOx–ZrO2 materials
prepared with different tungsten loading were performed by thermogravimetry.
The samples were synthesized by impregnation method and calcined at 600, 700
and 800°C. The characterizations of both un-calcined and calcined materials
were carried out using different techniques: thermal analysis (TG and DTA),
X-ray diffraction (XRD) and thermo-programmed reduction (TPR). TG and DTA
analysis of un-calcined were used to determination of calcination temperatures
of the samples. XRD diffractograms were useful to help us in the determination
of phase presents. TPR profiles showed between three and four events at different
temperatures attributed to platinum reduction and the different stages of

A method is developed whereby spherical and other particles can be derivatised with electroactive species on their surface and then immobilised on the surface of an electrode. The chronoamperometric and voltammetric responses in the limit of reversible electrode kinetics are modelled using a theory of charge movement over the surface of the spheres where this movement is considered as a diffusional process. The model is extended to include different distributions of sphere radii and to model the scenario of truncated spheres resting on the electrode surface. It is found that a good estimation of the truncation angle can be found by fitting the experimental data with theoretical predictions. 相似文献
