Phase diagram for stripes in YBa2Cu3O6+x superconductors

Neutron scattering has been used to measure the charge and spin structure in the YBa₂Cu₃O_6+x superconductors. Incommensurate static charge ordering is found at low doping levels while only charge fluctuations are found at higher doping. The spin structure is complex with both a commensurate resonance and incommensurate structure observed at low temperatures. The scattering results are used to construct a phase diagram for stripes in the YBa₂Cu₃O_6+x system.     

Shape-dependent local internal stress of α-Cr2O3 nanocrystal fabricated by pulsed laser ablation

The α-Cr₂O₃ single-crystal nanocondensates were fabricated by pulsed laser ablation in air and characterized by analytical electron microscopy regarding shape-dependent local internal stress of the anisotropic crystal. The nanocondensates formed predominantly as rhombohedra with well-developed surfaces and occasionally hexagonal plate with thin edges and blunt corners. Such nanocondensates showed Raman shift for the CrO₆ polyhedra, indicating a local compressive stress up to ca. 4 GPa on the average. Careful analysis of the lattice fringes revealed a local compressive stress (0.5% strain) at the thin edge of the hexagonal plates and a local tensile stress (0.3–1.0% strain) near the relaxed , , and (0 0 0 1) surfaces of truncated rhombohedra. The combined effects of nanosize, capillarity force at sharp edge, and specific surface relaxation account for the retention of a local internal compressive stress built up in an anisotropic crystal during a very rapid heating–cooling process.     

Conformational Analysis of Baclofen Analogues by 1H and 13C NMR: Phaclofen,Saclofen, and Hydroxy-Saclofen. Influence of the Anionic Moiety

The conformations of three analogues of baclofen 1: phaclofen, saclofen, and hydroxy-saclofen 2–4, potent GABA_B antagonists, in solution (D₂O) are estimated from high-resolution (300 MHz) H NMR coupling data. Conformations and populations of conformers are calculated by means of a modified Karplus-like relationship for the vicinal coupling constants. H NMR spectral analysis evidences how 1–3 keep in solution the preferred a conformation around C3-C4 bond. A partial rotation is set up around C2–C3 bond (the conformations about C2–C3 are all highly populated in solution) particularly for 2 and 3 while 1 shows a relative preferred a conformation. This evidences the influence of the anionic moiety.     

Eine Apparatur zur Messung natürlicher 4C-Aktivitäten

Aufbau, Arbeitsweise und Eigenschaften einer Apparatur, mit der naturliche ^l4C-Aktiviäten in Grund- und Oberflächenwässern gemessen werden können, werden beschrieben.

Die Messung erfordert 3 Arbeitsschritte: Probenahme, Synthese von Benzol, welches dann den Probenkohlenstoff enthält, und Messung der ¹⁴C-Aktivität in einem Flüssigkeitsszintillationszähler.

Die Apparatur kann zur Datierung von Wasserproben im Altersbereich zwischen 200 und 37000 a verwendet werden.     

Seletivitätsbestimmung von Katalysatoren zur Toluolentalkylierung durch Einsatz von Toluol-14C-7

Die bei der katalytischen Toulolentalkylierung mögliche Konkurrenzreaktion der Spaltung des aromatischen Kernes führt zu unerwünschten Verlusten an Aromaten und kann infolge ihrer starken exothermen Wärmetönung bei der technischen Realisierung des Verfahrens Schwierigkeiten bei der thermischen Beherrschung des Reaktors bewirken. Bereits in der Entwicklungsphase des Katalysators ist man somit auf ein Verfahren angewiesen, das es erlaubt, diese Ringspaltung sicher nachzuweisen und quantitativ zu bestimmen.

In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird eine Tracermethode unter Einsatz von Toluol-¹⁴C-7 beschrieben, die diese Forderung weitgehendst erfüllt.     

基于STC89C51的新型液氮低温微创冷冻控制系统设计

设计了一种新型液氮低温微创冷冻控制系统,详述了系统的控制原理及各功能模块的实现.采用热流平衡原理、PID技术与STC89C51单片机及外围控制电路对冷冻冻结面范围、液氮瓶压力及冷刀刀头温度进行实时控制和显示.应用结果表明:该系统运行稳定,可靠性高,操作简单.     

On the topological theory of self-dual connections over noncompact Riemann surfaces

A topological action for self-dual connections over noncompact Riemann surfaces is proposed. TheJ formulation and the associated linear system are obtained. A new connection is constructed, depending on a Kac-Moody parameter such that its flatness condition is theJ-equation associated to the self-dual problem. The algebra of infinitesimal Bäcklund transformations depending on this Kac-Moody parameter is constructed.     

基于蛋清栅绝缘层的高性能C_(60)有机场效应晶体管(英文)

采用生物材料(蛋清)作为栅绝缘层制备了基于C60为有源层的有机场效应晶体管。器件展现出了合理的电学特性,场效应迁移率和阈值电压分别为2.59 cm2·V-1·s-1和1.25 V。有机场效应晶体管展现良好性能的原因是蛋清具有较高的介电常数及热退火后形成的光滑表面形貌。实验结果表明,对于制备有机场效应晶体管来说,蛋清是一种有前途的绝缘层材料。     

Control of composition and crystallinity in hydroxyapatite films deposited by electron cyclotron resonance plasma sputtering

Hydroxyapatite (HAp) films were deposited by electron cyclotron resonance plasma sputtering under a simultaneous flow of H₂O vapor gas. Crystallization during sputter-deposition at elevated temperatures and solid-phase crystallization of amorphous films were compared in terms of film properties. When HAp films were deposited with Ar sputtering gas at temperatures above 460 °C, CaO byproducts precipitated with HAp crystallites. Using Xe instead of Ar resolved the compositional problem, yielding a single HAp phase. Preferentially c-axis-oriented HAp films were obtained at substrate temperatures between 460 and 500 °C and H₂O pressures higher than 1×10⁻² Pa. The absorption signal of the asymmetric stretching mode of the PO₄³⁻ unit (ν₃) in the Fourier-transform infrared absorption (FT-IR) spectra was the narrowest for films as-crystallized during deposition with Xe, but widest for solid-phase crystallized films. While the symmetric stretching mode of PO₄³⁻ (ν₁) is theoretically IR-inactive, this signal emerged in the FT-IR spectra of solid-phase crystallized films, but was absent for as-crystallized films, indicating superior crystallinity for the latter. The Raman scattering signal corresponding to ν₁ PO₄³⁻ sensitively reflected this crystallinity. The surface hardness of as-crystallized films evaluated by a pencil hardness test was higher than that of solid-phase crystallized films.     

Dielectric, thermal and optical study of an unusually shaped liquid crystal

Dielectric measurements have been carried out for the determination of real and imaginary parts of the permittivity of a newly synthesized, unusually shaped liquid crystal. The sample has been investigated in the frequency range from 100 Hz to 10 MHz within a temperature range 80-130 °C. The dielectric measurements in the smectic A phase indicate a Cole-Cole type of dispersion, and the activation energy was found to be 5.5 meV by using the Arrhenius plot of relaxation time. In addition to this, thermal and optical transmittance studies have also been conducted in the above mentioned temperature range, and the temperature dependence of these parameters has been discussed in detail. The phase transition temperature obtained from a differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) study matches within 2 °C that was obtained from an optical transmittance study. The dielectric and optical behavior of the unusually shaped liquid crystal has been explained on the basis of a proposed theoretical model in which a sample possesses two different conformers having induced polarizations in opposite directions.
