A lime-pozzolan cement was used to make pastes containing different quantities of MSW fly ash. After setting, the pastes were cured in water at room temperature from 1 h to 260 days. The hydration characteristics and the nature of the hydration products of the various pastes were studied by simultaneous TG/DSC thermal analysis and X-ray diffractometry. The MSW fly ash was found to induce a slowing of the hydration process in lime-pozzolan pastes, and after some days an evident acceleration of hydration reactions occurred. Sulphate and chloride in the MSW fly ash yield hydration products forming a cementitious matrix.The author is grateful to D. Calabrese for assistance with the thermal and XRD analyses. 相似文献

The structure and surface properties of ZrO2 strongly depend on its preparation. In the present work the impact of prolonged aging at basic conditions (pH = 9, T = 100°C, t = 48 h), on the phase composition and textural properties, obtained by calcination of the precipitate, was investigated using
several techniques conjointly (DTA/TG, DSC, XRD, porosimetry). The thermal effects accompanying the ZrO2·xH2O gel formation, the coalescence of the particles and crystallization were evaluated and discussed in terms of the structural
differences between the aged and non-aged samples.

以XRD、XPS和EXAFS手段对CuO-BaO/Sic2催化剂及其还原态的结构进行了研究.结果表明,在CuO-BaO/SiO2体系中铜和钡都是以氧化态的形式存在,超细SiO2载体对所负载的CuO的结构有影响.随着样品负载量的逐渐降低,Cu-O和Cu-Cu睡的健长和配位数逐渐征小,而且低载量样品的健长和配位数减小的幅度最大.在总负载量>13.39%的样品中,CuO以晶相的形式存在;总负载量<13.39%的样品中,CUO呈现单层分布的高分出状态.还原态样品中钢以本价铜的形式存在,随负载量的降低,还原态Cu-Cu健的镇长和配位数也分别呈现出逐渐减小的趋势.还原态中心铜原子在催化剂表面的分布状态基本上保持了氧化态催化剂中CuO物相的分市状态. 相似文献

Steels with a high boron content are valuable as a neutron shield in waste containers and as control absorbers in nuclear reactors. The purpose of this study was to obtain by mechanical alloying an iron powder with 50% boron (by weight) and then powder-metallurgy materials. The elementary powders were mixed in a high-energy mill for 36 h in an inert atmosphere. Samples were withdrawn at intervals, and the powder was characterized by differential thermal analysis, X-ray diffraction and electron microscopy. The Fe/B powders withdrawn at different intervals of milling were diluted with further additions of iron up to a final content of 10% boron. The mixtures were uniaxially compacted at 500 MPa; their green density was verified, and they were sintered in argon at 1150°C. Their physical properties (density and dimensional change) and bending strength were evaluated and microstructural studies and fracture tests were performed. 相似文献

Powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Raman spectroscopic study of order-disorder-phase transition with increase in the content of Gd in Nd2−yGdyZr2O7 solid solution is being reported. It has been observed from Rietveld analysis that with increase in concentration of Gd in Nd2−yGdyZr2O7, the value of the x parameter of the 48f oxygen changes from 0.332(1) to 0.343(1) with a sudden change in the slope for y=1.8, which indicates that the structure is transforming from ordered pyrochlore to disordered pyrochlore. In addition to that a sudden and drastic change in the Raman spectra including changes in the position and width of several Raman modes beyond y?1.8 has also been observed which has been correlated with increasing disorder. Based on these studies, it is suggested that there is a discontinuous order-disorder transition from ‘perfect pyrochlore’ to ‘defect pyrochlore’ phase in Nd2−yGdyZr2O7 solid solution. 相似文献

The hollandite Ba1Cs0.28Fe0.82Al1.46Ti5.72O16, which has been proposed for the cesium-specific conditioning, can be synthesized either by an alcoxyde or a dry route. In both cases, a two-step protocol is applied, i.e., a calcination at 1000 °C followed by a sintering at 1200 °C. After sintering, both synthetic processes lead to a tetragonal form. According to the X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns collected at the barium and the cesium K absorption edges, the different positions of these two elements have been evidenced with a more centered position in the oxygen cubic site of the tunnel for Ba than for Cs. On the contrary, after calcination, the two synthetic routes yield different products. The alcoxyde route gives rise to a mixture of the aforementioned Cs- and Ba-containing tetragonal I4/m hollandite, a Cs-only-containing monoclinic I2/m hollandite and an unidentified phase with a weak coherence length containing only Ba. The dry route yields a single tetragonal hollandite material containing Ba and Cs slightly different in composition from the targeted compound. 相似文献

The catalytic performance of Mn/TiO_2,La-Mn/TiO_2,Li-La-Mn/TiO_2 etc for the oxidetive coupling of methane(OCM)was investignted.Thecatalysta were cheracterised with X-ray diffraction(XRD)and X-rayphotoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The results reveal that catalyst Li-La-Mn/TiO_2 exhibits high activity and C_2 selectivity;Ti in this catalyst exists asTi~( 4) state;Li can promote the formation of lanthanum tituate via theinteraction between La and TiO_2;the formed La_2Ti_2O_7 and La_4Ti_9O_(24) aredistributed in the inner surface layer and Mn exists in outer surface layer in lowvalence states.The high activity and C_2 selectivity of catalyst Li-La-Mn/TiO_2are intimately related to the valence states of Mn,Li,La and theirdistribution on the catulyst surface layer. 相似文献

Sodium zirconium phosphate [NaZr2P3O12], a potential ceramic matrix for fixation of high level nuclear waste, was synthesized by heating the mixture of sodium carbonate [Na2CO3], zirconyl nitrate hydrate [ZrO(NO3)2·5H2O] and ammonium dihydrogen phosphate [NH4H2PO4] in air, in a resistance heated furnace and a microwave heating system respectively in the temperature range 450 to 650°C. The mixture heated for 1 h in a resistance furnace at 450°C yielded a poorly crystalline NaZr2P3O12 [NZP]. Increasing the temperature to 650°C produced a highly crystalline product. The same mixture heated in a microwave oven at 450°C for 1 h however, yielded the most crystalline NZP.In an alternate method, the mixture of sodium dihydrogen phosphate (NaH2PO4), zirconium dioxide (ZrO2) and diammonium hydrogen phosphate [(NH4)2HPO4] heated in resistance furnace at 650°C for the same period did not react in air.
