Photothermal therapy makes use of photothermal sensitizers and laser light to thermally ablate diseased tissues. Porphysome nanoparticles offer a nontoxic alternative to inorganic nanocrystals for the efficient conversion of light into heat. Mn3+ ions were incorporated directly into the building blocks of our porphysome nanoparticles, thus imparting MRI sensitivity while simultaneously improving photostability and maintaining high photothermal efficiency. Mn porphysomes are as photothermally effective as free‐base porphysomes and can rival gadolinium diethylenetriaminepentaacetate (Gd‐DTPA) for MRI contrast generation. Their MRI contrast generation, photothermal efficiency, and photostability are unprecedented for an all‐organic nanoparticle composed of a single functional component. 相似文献

New bis(dipyrrinato)zinc(II) complex micro‐ and nanosheets containing zinc(II) porphyrin ( N2 ) are synthesized. A liquid/liquid interface method between dipyrrin porphyrin ligand L2 and zinc acetate produces N2 with a large domain size. N2 can be layered quantitatively onto a flat substrate by a modified Langmuir–Schäfer method. N2 deposited on a SnO2 electrode functions as a photoanode for a photoelectric conversion system. The photoresponse of N2 covers the whole visible wavelength range (400–650 nm), with a maximum quantum efficiency of more than twice that of a bis(dipyrrinato)zinc(II) complex nanosheet without porphyrin. 相似文献

A star‐shaped electron acceptor based on porphyrin as a core and perylene bisimide as end groups was constructed for application in non‐fullerene organic solar cells. The new conjugated molecule exhibits aligned energy levels, good electron mobility, and complementary absorption with a donor polymer. These advantages facilitate a high power conversion efficiency of 7.4 % in non‐fullerene solar cells, which represents the highest photovoltaic performance based on porphyrin derivatives as the acceptor. 相似文献

Iron(III)‐5,15‐diphenylporphyrin and several derivatives were accommodated by HasA, a heme acquisition protein secreted by Pseudomonas aeruginosa , despite possessing bulky substituents at the meso position of the porphyrin. Crystal structure analysis revealed that the two phenyl groups at the meso positions of porphyrin extend outside HasA. It was shown that the growth of P. aeruginosa was inhibited in the presence of HasA coordinating the synthetic porphyrins under iron‐limiting conditions, and that the structure of the synthetic porphyrins greatly affects the inhibition efficiency. 相似文献
