粒子的形状影响其功能性,非球形粒子作为构建单元不仅可以体现材料本身的内在性能,而且其新颖的粒子堆积类型,改善了材料性能,赋予材料更多的应用潜能。非球形粒子可用于改善材料的光学性能,用作生物材料的自组装构造单元,悬浮液流变性能的调控,制备皮克林乳液和复合材料的设计。本文综述了种子聚合法、高分子溶液混合法、机械拉伸法、微粒聚集法、微流体法和模板法等合成非球形粒子的方法,论述了非球形粒子在Pickering乳化剂,光子晶体和有序多孔材料等领域的潜在应用,并展望了可能的发展趋势。 相似文献

Preparation of sulphonate-containing core/shell latex particles via seeded emulsion copolymerization
<正>In this study,P(St-MAA) seed latex particles were first prepared via soap-free emulsion polymerization of styrene(St) and methacrylic acid(MAA),then the seed particles were allowed to swell with St at room temperature,and the P(St-MAA)/P(StNaSS) core/shell latex particles were then synthesized via seeded emulsion copolymerization of St and sodium styrene sulphonate (NaSS) using AIBN as initiator in the presence of N,N'-methylenebisacrylamide(BAA,water-soluble crosslinker).Results showed that the polymerization could be carried out smoothly when the ratio of BAA to total monomers was less than 3 mol%,the narrow dispersed P(St-MAA) seed particles with the diameter of 150 nm and the P(St-MAA)/P(St-NaSS) core/shell latexes with the particle size of about 200 nm were synthesized.When the 25/75 mole ratio of NaSS/(St + MAA) and 2 mol%of BAA were used in the seeded emulsion polymerization,the resulted P(St-MAA)/P(St-NaSS) latex product showed a low weight loss after water extraction,and the NaSS unit content in the whole particle and in the shell reached 11.7 mol%and 34.6 mol%,respectively. 相似文献

The emulsion of cationic polyacrylamide was prepared by a soap-free polymerization,using water as media,the oligomer that prepared by myself as emulsifier and stabilizer,(NH_4)_2S_2O_8 as initiator.The effect of the amount of isopropanol,oligomer and the ratio of DMC/AM on the molecular weight of cationic polyacrylamide were all studied.The best amount of isopropanol,oligomer are 25%,20% of the total monomer and the ratio of DMC/AM is 3/7. 相似文献

An emulsifier‐free core–shell polyacrylate emulsion, containing nano‐SiO2 nanoparticles in the core and diacetone acrylamide (DAAM) in the shell, has been successfully prepared by emulsifier‐free seeded emulsion polymerization. The effects of reaction temperature, dropping time, nano‐SiO2 and initiator contents, and variation of the composition of core monomers on the amount of coagulum, particle size, and monomer conversion have been investigated. The particle morphology and the distribution of emulsion particles have been measured by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and dynamic light scattering. The keto‐carbonyl groups on the surface of the polyacrylate emulsion nanoparticles reacted with adipic dihydrazide (ADH) to form a film with a cross‐linked network structure at room temperature. Therefore, the emulsifier‐free core–shell emulsion could be used as a two‐component room temperature curable waterborne coating. In this paper, poly(methyl methacrylate‐co‐sodium sulfopropyl lauryl maleate‐co‐2‐hydroxy‐4‐(3‐methacryloxy‐2‐hydroxylpropoxy) benzophenone)/TiO2 (i.e., poly(MMA‐co‐M12‐co‐BPMA)/TiO2) composite particles were prepared by ultrasonically initiated emulsion polymerization. To study the dispersion and UV‐stability of the composite particles, laser diffraction particle size analyzer (LDPSA), ultraviolet‐visible absorption spectroscopy (UV‐vis), UV‐vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS), differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), and the weight loss measurement were used. The results indicate that the dispersion of the poly(MMA‐co‐M12‐co‐BPMA)/TiO2 composite particles prepared by ultrasonically initiated emulsion polymerization is good. And the composite particles can absorb UV light; the ultraviolet absorption strength of poly(MMA‐co‐M12‐co‐BPMA) grafted onto the surface of TiO2 has not changed after UV irradiation while that of PMMA changed significantly. The UV absorption strength, weight loss, and Tg changes are in the order PMMA> poly(MMA‐co‐M12‐co‐BPMA) >PMMA grafted onto TiO2> poly(MMA‐co‐M12‐co‐BPMA) grafted onto TiO2. These results show that the ultrasonically initiated emulsion polymerization will enhance the UV stability of composite particles, and the UV‐stability of PMMA can be enhanced by the introduction of the organic UV‐stabilizer BPMA and the inorganic UV‐stabilizer titanium dioxide into the PMMA chains by covalent bond, and the effect of the BPMA and the TiO2 used together is better than that used, respectively. In this paper, microspheres were prepared by oil-in-water (o/w) emulsion solvent evaporation method. Biodegradable polymer such as blend of poly (lactic acid) (PLA) and poly(?-caprolactone) (PCL) with certain compositions and characteristics was used to prepare the microspheres with poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) as an emulsifier. This study observed the microspheres particle’s size distribution at various concentrations of PVA (1%, 1.5%, 2%, and 2.5% PVA). The PVA volume variations effects during the process (50, 100, 150, 200, and 250 mL) were also observed. The blend of PLA and PCL is formed only by physical interaction between them. This can be seen from the FTIR spectrum which shows both PLA and PCL component. The microspheres physical size and appearance were observed by optical microscope (MO). The overall results of this study showed that the formula which used 50–150 mL of 2.5% polyvinyl alcohol produced the microspheres with the most uniform size distribution. 相似文献

A series of carboxylated acrylate copolymer latexes were prepared via two different emulsion polymerization technologies with different carboxylic‐group distribution and morphologies. The effects of the emulsifier, the initiator, and the carboxylic monomers [acrylic acid (AA) or monobutyl itaconate (MBI)] on the total conversion of the monomers and the properties of acrylate latexes and films have been investigated. The distribution of carboxylic groups (?COOH) measured by conductometric titration shows that the concentration of surface –COOH (Cs) and embedded –COOH (Cb) both increase with the increase of the amount of carboxylic monomers. For the latexes containing AA, –COOH tends to distribute on the surface of latex particles and in the aqueous phase, whereas –COOH tends to concentrate inside the core of latex particles for the latexes containing MBI. Transmission electron microscopy demonstrates that the latex particles are regular with narrow size distribution and have significant differences in morphologies when different carboxylic monomers and polymerization technologies were used. The stability of latex is satisfactory through the results of common stability and zeta potential tests. Moreover, the water absorption and contact angle experiment tests also revealed that the water resistance of the latex films is good. Copyright © 2011 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献
