Nowadays, increasing extortions regarding environmental problems and energy scarcity have stuck the development and endurance of human society. The issue of inorganic and organic pollutants that exist in water from agricultural, domestic, and industrial activities has directed the development of advanced technologies to address the challenges of water scarcity efficiently. To solve this major issue, various scientists and researchers are looking for novel and effective technologies that can efficiently remove pollutants from wastewater. Nanoscale metal oxide materials have been proposed due to their distinctive size, physical and chemical properties along with promising applications. Cupric Oxide (CuO) is one of the most commonly used benchmark photocatalysts in photodegradation owing to the fact that they are cost-effective, non-toxic, and more efficient in absorption across a significant fraction of solar spectrum. In this review, we have summarized synthetic strategies of CuO fabrication, modification methods with applications for water treatment purposes. Moreover, an elaborative discussion on feasible strategies includes; binary and ternary heterojunction formation, Z-scheme based photocatalytic system, incorporation of rare earth/transition metal ions as dopants, and carbonaceous materials serving as a support system. The mechanistic insight inferring photo-induced charge separation and transfer, the functional reactive radical species involved in a photocatalytic reaction, have been successfully featured and examined. Finally, a conclusive remark regarding current studies and unresolved challenges related to CuO are put forth for future perspectives. 相似文献

In many classification applications and face recognition tasks, there exist unlabelled data available for training along with
labelled samples. The use of unlabelled data can improve the performance of a classifier. In this paper, a semi-supervised
growing neural gas is proposed for learning with such partly labelled datasets in face recognition applications. The classifier
is first trained on the labelled data and then gradually unlabelled data is classified and added to the training data. The
classifier is retrained; and so on. The proposed iterative algorithm conforms to the EM framework and is demonstrated, on
both artificial and real datasets, to significantly boost the classification rate with the use of unlabelled data. The improvement
is particularly great when the labelled dataset is small. Comparison with support vector machine classifiers is also given.
The algorithm is computationally efficient and easy to implement. 相似文献

Micro-sized hydrogels synthesized by electrostatic cross-linking of anionic alginate with Ca2+ cations were additionally loaded with cationic fluorescent dye Rhodamine 6B or cationic antitumor antibiotic doxorubicin. Forming complexes with Ca2+ alginate hydrogels, doxorubicin retained or even reduced its toxicity to tumor and normal cells. 纳米二氧化钛的制备方法及前驱物的差别影响其光催化活性.将20ml钛酸丁酯及30ml乙酐在密闭容器中与50ml环己烷混合,在70~85℃反应30min,生成微细的非晶钛氧有机物;经FT-IR和TGA分析,该物质被确认为计量式是TiOOOCCH3)2和TiO(OC4H9)(OOCCH3)的混合体.该钛氧有机物前驱物经焙烧后得到具有高光催化活性的纳米二氧化钛晶体.表征结果表明,钛氧有机物在焙烧过程中,其表面的吸附物及键合有机基团在400℃以前发生脱附和氧化分解;在389~405℃间形成锐钛矿型晶体,在600℃出现金红石晶型;600℃焙烧3h所得样品的比表面积为86m2/g,其二次粒子呈200~300nm条形体,孔隙大于20nm;单分散粒子为球形单晶,粒径为22nm;表面物理吸附水量为1.21%,加热至800℃时失重1.48%,粉体稳定纯净.光催化实验结果表明,以钛氧有机物为前驱物制备的纳米二氧化钛晶体具有高的光催化活性,光降解丁基罗丹明溶液的反应速率常数约为溶胶-凝胶法制备的催化剂样品的4倍.表面氧空缺和一定量的表面羟基可能是粉体具有高光催化活性的重要因素. 相似文献

采用电化学方法制备Ag@AgI/Ni表面等离子体薄膜催化剂,使用扫描电镜(SEM),X射线衍射(XRD)和紫外-可见漫反射光谱(UV-Vis DRS)对薄膜的表面形貌、晶体结构、光谱特性以及能带结构进行分析表征,在模拟太阳光照射下,把罗丹明B作为模拟污染物对薄膜的光催化活性与稳定性进行评价,采用向反应体系中加入活性物种捕获剂的方法对薄膜光催化机理进行探究。结果表明:最佳工艺下制备的Ag@AgI/Ni薄膜表面是由附着少量Ag粒子的AgI纳米晶构成。薄膜具有显著的表面等离子共振作用、优异的光催化活性和突出的光催化稳定性。光催化反应60 min,薄膜对罗丹明B的降解率(81.1%)是AgI/Ni薄膜的1.35倍,是TiO_2(P25)/ITO薄膜的1.61倍。在薄膜光催化活性基本保持不变的前提下可循环使用5次。薄膜表面纳米Ag的等离子共振对光阴极反应的活化是光催化性能提高的重要原因。提出了薄膜光催化降解罗丹明B的反应机理。 相似文献

Radiophotosynthesis has been carried out using the unicellular green algea Scenedesmus acutus grown, as a substrate for preparing some carbon-14 labelled amino acids. Gaseous 14CO2, in an air tight photosynthesis chamber or NaH14CO3 solution, in an ordinary photosynthesis chamber, were used as radioactive carbon sources. The yields, radiochemical yields and specific activities of the formed radioactive products are reported in both cases. The results obtained clearly showed the advantages of using the NaH14CO3 method. In that case the process was by far less tedious. Moreover, the chemical and radiochemical yields of the formed amino acids were relatively much more higher than the values obtained on using 14CO2 in the tight photosynthesis chamber. 相似文献
