An efficient catalytic double asymmetric induction during the tandem transetherification-intramolecular hetero Diels-Alder reaction has been developed. The enantioselective tandem reaction of methyl (E)-4-methoxy-2-oxo-3-butenoate with rac-6-methyl-5-hepten-2-ol has been achieved to provide methyl (2R,4aS,8aR)-3,4,4a,8a-tetrahydro-2,5,5-trimethyl-2H,5H-pyrano[4,3-b]-pyran-7-carboxylate in good yield with effective kinetic resolution (up to 95% selectivity), high diastereoselectivity (up to 92% de), and high enantioselectivity (up to 97% ee) in the presence of (S,S)-tert-Bu-bis(oxazoline)-Cu(SbF6)2 and 5 Å molecular sieves. 相似文献

Thermal decarbonylation of 1-benzyl-4,5-dibenzoyl-2,3-dihydropyrrole-2,3-dione yields benzoyl[N-benzyl(phenylglyoxalimidoyl)]ketene. Phenyltrimethylsilane possesses a higher HOMO energy (–9.34 eV) than nonsubstituted benzene (>0.41 eV). The π electron of the phenyltrimethylsilane localizes on the benzene ring at the ipso position rather than at the para position. Two center energies calculated by the MNDO-PM3 method indicate that the C? Si bond is facilitated to cleave in comparison with the C? H (para position) one of the benzene ring. Phenyltrimethylsilane and phenyl bis(trimethylsilane) were polymerized with sulfur chloride through the cationic oxidative polymerization. The product is isolated as oligo(p-phenylene sulfide), with a melting point of 150–190°C. An electrophile attacks the carbon atom linked to the Si atom in phenyltrimethylsilane. Sonogashira cross-coupling of 6-chloro-1,3-dimethyllumazine with terminal alkynes gave 6-alkynyl derivatives in good yields. Oxidative amination of the latter with primary alkylamines was accompanied by the pyrrole-ring closure to form 1-R"-2-R-6,8-dimethylpyrrolo[3,2-g]pteridine-5,7(6H,8H)-diones. The addition of bromine to 6-alkynyllumazines afforded the corresponding dibromoalkenes whose treatment with sodium trithiocarbonate gave rise to 2-R-6,8-dimethylthieno[3,2-g]pteridine-5,7(6H,8H)-diones. structure and solvent polarity. The stoichiometry of the complexes was established to be 1:1. For this purpose, optical data
were subjected to the form of the Rose-Drago equation for 1:1 equilibria. Electronic absorption spectra of the studied anilines were measured in different solvents. Spectral
data were reported and band maxima were assigned to the appropriate molecular orbital transitions (π–π* and n–π* electronic transition). Solvent effects on the electronic transitions were discussed. Optimized geometry of the studied anilines
was obtained at B3LYP/6-31 + G(d). The effect of the electronic factors of the substituents on the geometrical parameters
of the ring has been explored. Geometrical values of the ring deviate from the regular hexagonal ring. Intramolecular H-bonds
in HA and CHA have been computed at B3LYP/6-31 + G(d) and MP2/6-31 + G(d) levels. The H-bonding distance was calculated to be 2.105 ? in
HA and 2.127 ? in CHA.

Acrylamide (AA), is a chemical with multiple industrial applications, however, it can be found in foods that are rich in carbohydrates. Due to its genotoxic and cytotoxic effects, AA has been classified as a potential carcinogen. With the use of spectrophotometry, ICP-OES, fluorescence spectroscopy, and microscopy cell growth, metabolic activity, apoptosis, ROS production, MDA formation, CAT and SOD activity, ionome balance, and chromosome segregation were determined in Schizosaccharomyces pombe. AA caused growth and metabolic activity retardation, enhanced ROS and MDA production, and modulated antioxidant enzyme activity. This led to damage to the cell homeostasis due to ionome balance disruption. Moreover, AA-induced oxidative stress caused alterations in the cell cycle regulation resulting in chromosome segregation errors, as 4.07% of cells displayed sister chromatid non-disjunction during mitosis. Ascorbic acid (AsA, Vitamin C), a strong natural antioxidant, was used to alleviate the negative impact of AA. Cell pre-treatment with AsA significantly improved AA impaired growth, and antioxidant capacity, and supported ionome balance maintenance mainly due to the promotion of calcium uptake. Chromosome missegregation was reduced to 1.79% (44% improvement) by AsA pre-incubation. Results of our multiapproach analyses suggest that AA-induced oxidative stress is the major cause of alteration to cell homeostasis and cell cycle regulation. 相似文献

Anthocyanins are water-soluble pigments present in fruits and vegetables, which render them an extensive range of colors. They have a wide distribution in the human diet, are innocuous, and, based on numerous studies, have supposed preventive and therapeutical benefits against chronic affections such as inflammatory, neurological, cardiovascular, digestive disorders, diabetes, and cancer, mostly due to their antioxidant action. Despite their great potential as pharmaceutical applications, they have a rather limited use because of their rather low stability to environmental variations. Their absorption was noticed to occur best in the stomach and small intestine, but the pH fluctuation of the digestive system impacts their rapid degradation. Urine excretion and tissue distribution also occur at low rates. The aim of this review is to highlight the chemical characteristics of anthocyanins and emphasize their weaknesses regarding bioavailability. It also targets to deliver an update on the recent advances in the involvement of anthocyanins in different pathologies with a focus on in vivo, in vitro, animal, and human clinical trials. 相似文献

Mulberry extract has been proven to have the effect of resisting alcohol damage, but its mechanism is still unclear. In this study, the composition of mulberry ethanol extract (MBE) was identified by LC-MS/MS and the main components of MBE were ascertained by measuring. Gastric mucosal epithelial (GES-1) cells were used to elucidate the mechanism of MBE and rutin (the central part of MBE) helped protect against alcohol damage. The results revealed that phenolics accounted for the majority of MBE, accounting for 308.6 mg/g gallic acid equivalents and 108 substances were identified, including 37 flavonoids and 50 non-flavonoids. The treatment of 400 μg/mL MBE and 320 μM rutin reduced early cell apoptosis and the content of intracellular reactive oxygen species, malondialdehyde and increased glutathione. The qPCR results indicated that the MBE inhibits the expression of genes in the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathway, including p38, JNK, ERK and caspase-3; rutin inhibits the expression of p38 and caspase-3. Overall, MBE was able to reduce the oxidative stress of GES-1 cells and regulated apoptosis-related genes of the MAPK pathway.
