Summary. Two novel algorithms based on particle swarm optimization (PSO) and support vector machine (SVM) have been employed to obtain predictive QSAR models of anti-HIV-1 activity of HEPT derivatives. The results obtained by using the adopted PSO and SVM for structure-activity correlation determination were in close agreement with previous multiple linear regression models, which are reasonably satisfying, based on both statistical significance and predictive ability.  相似文献

We report on the development of a bi-layer bi-enzyme biosensor architecture using different peroxidases and alcohol oxidase from Hansenula polymorpha C-105 as biological recognition elements. The sensor architecture comprises a first layer containing either horseradish peroxidase or royal palm tree peroxidase crosslinked with an Osmium complex-modified redox hydrogel. On top, a second layer was formed by electrochemically induced precipitation of a cathodic electrodeposition paint simultaneously entrapping alcohol oxidase isolated from a genetically modified strain of Hansenula polymorpha C-105. The sensor architecture was optimized with respect to effective electron transfer and stability of the enzyme. The main characteristics of the biosensors are an apparent maximal current Imaxapp of 572–940 nA, an apparent Michaelis constant KMapp of 9.5 mM, a sensitivity of 60–98 nA mM−1 and an improved operational stability represented by a deactivation constant of 1.5–2.0 × 10−4min−1.  相似文献

Changes in bed expansion are frequently encountered during an expanded bed adsorption, such as during the initial bed expansion, feed loading and washing processes. We have here studied the changes of local particle size distribution and bed voidage of an expanded bed in the initial bed expansion process as well as those during the changes in mobile phase viscosity, which imitated feed loading and column washing processes. Using a glass column modified with three side sampling ports and Streamline AC as the solid phase, experimental measurements on a series of operation moments during the transient processes were carried out by sampling the particles from within the column at different axial positions. In the initial bed expansion process, the gradual formation of an axial classification from a settled bed to a stable expanded bed was first displayed. By changing the mobile phase from water to 10% (w/w) glycerol solution or vice versa, the variations in both the particle size distribution and bed voidage corresponding to the increase or decrease of the bed height caused by the changes of the mobile phase viscosity were examined as well. The transient changes of the local particle size distribution and bed voidage first occurred in the bed bottom and then progressed from bottom to top along the axial direction. However, the changes of bed voidage at different axial positions were not unidirectional. That is, by changing the mobile phase to the high-viscosity glycerol solution, a constant increase of the bed voidage was observed in the bed bottom, while a distinct decrease of the bed voidage before its increase was involved at the middle and top positions. This is ascribed to the compression effect caused by the upward movement of the lower part particles.  相似文献

Nonspherical polystyrene (PS)/poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) composite particles having a dent were prepared by releasing toluene from PS/PMMA/toluene droplets dispersed in a poly(vinyl alcohol) aqueous medium. An ex-centered PS-core/PMMA-shell morphology, in which a part of the PS core contacted with the aqueous medium and toluene partitioned more in the PS core than in the PMMA shell, was formed in the polymers/toluene droplet in the process of phase separation therein with releasing toluene. Thermal treatment of pure nanoscale maghemite (γ-Fe2O3) powders under argon yields different products depending on particle size. Particles with a mean diameter above 15 nm transform to hematite (-Fe2O3). Smaller particles, which were synthesised under identical conditions but from solutions with lower Fe3+ concentrations, transform into magnetite (Fe3O4) during thermal treatment. This phenomenon can be explained by adsorbed or incorporated reducing carboxylate groups. The origin of the reducing species and possible reaction mechanisms with the maghemite particles are discussed.  相似文献

The dependence of the efficiency of positive electrorheological (ER) phenomenon, expressed as a ratio of the low-shear electroviscosity to the field-off viscosity, on the particle concentration of polyaniline base suspensions in silicone oil has been studied. A simple analysis reveals that the dependence of the efficiency on the volume fraction of suspended particles may have a maximum at which the optimum ER performance of material is expected. Experimental results confirmed this expectation. It is demonstrated that with higher temperature the maximum is shifted to higher particle concentration.  相似文献

The electrodeposition of cobalt onto gold is studied as a function of the pH of the electrolyte. Electrochemical quartz crystal microgravimetry is used to identify the material deposited. Using a Co sulfate solution without additives, it is found that for pH <-3.2, Co metal deposits. For pH > 3.2 and at sufficiently negative applied potential, first Co hydroxide deposits and then Co metal. The addition of boric acid, H3BO3 to cobalt sulfate solutions leads to different results: measurements done up to pH 5.5 indicate that only Co metal deposits, showing that boric acid prevents the formation of cobalt hydroxide. Mechanism of copper electrocrystallization on highly oriented pyrolytic graphite electrode from a solution of 1 mmol/L CuSO4 and 1.0 mol/L H2SO4 has been studied using cyclic voltammogram and chronoamperometry. The results show that in copper electrodeposition the charge-transfer step is fast and the rate of growth is controlled by the rate of mass transfer of copper ions to the growing centers. Reduction of Cu(Ⅱ) ions did not undergo underpotential deposition. The initial deposition kinetics of Cu electrocrystallization corresponds to a model including progressive nucleation and diffusion controlled growth. Copper nanocrystals with size of 75.6 nm and relative standard deviation of 9% can be obtained by modulation potential electrodeposition.  相似文献
