Amylopectin tris(phenylcarbamate) has been evaluated as a chiral stationary phase for HPLC; the influence on its cptical resolving capabilities of mobile phase composition and nature of the alcohol used as modifier has been studied. We reported controllable synthesis of ZnS nanocrystal-polymer transparent hybrids by using polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) as
a polymer matrix. In a typical run, the appropriate amounts of zinc chloride (ZnCl2) and sodium sulfide (Na2S) in the presence of 2-mercaptoethanol (ME) as the organic ligand were well dispersed in H2O/dimethylformamide solution without any aggregation. In addition, the Mn-doped ZnS nanocrystals (NCs) were synthesized with
similar method. Then, ZnS-PMMA hybrids were obtained via free radical polymerization in situ by using ZnS NCs functionalized
with methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane (MPS). FT-IR characterization indicates the formation of robust bonding between ZnS
NCs and the organic ligand. The TEM images show that ZnS NCs are well dispersed in PMMA matrix, and particle size of as-prepared
ZnS NCs is about 2.6 nm, in agreement with the computing results of Brus’s model and Debye–Scherrer formula. The photoluminescence
measurements present that ZnS NCs, Mn-doped ZnS NCs, and ZnS/PMMA hybrid show good optical properties. 相似文献

We study the aggregation of oxygen dipoles well dispersed in a CaF2 crystal upon annealing at temperatures ranging from 370 to 420 K. The concentration of oxygen dipoles is monitored by measuring the intensity of the ionic thermocurrent peak as well as by absorption and luminescence spectroscopies. Results from three methods agree within experimental error and yield an activation energy of (1.2±0.1) eV for the diffusion of isolated oxygen centres in the crystal. 相似文献

Micro-hotplates operated at elevated temperature form the basic element in several sensor devices, such as integrated calorimetric or Taguchi-type gas sensors and flow-rate sensors. In all of these applications thermal properties of the sensing elements play a determining role in functional operation, therefore, their accurate characterisation is essential. The micro-hotplates investigated were developed by one side porous silicon micro-machining technology, forming Pt micro-filaments embedded in non-stoichiometric silicon nitride, and suspended across a cavity. This work is dealing with the accurate temperature detection in the micro-scale by different measurement methods for the deduction of steady state and transient thermal properties from the results. The analysis of a demodulation system for Fiber Bragg Grating sensors based on two fixed spectral filters has been carried out both theoretically and experimentally. Different system configurations were analyzed by modifying the spectral position of the filters as well as the optical power-level of the signal reaching the two photo-detectors. Measurements with integration times that varied from 0.01 to 1 s have been compared with the low-frequency limit predicted for long-term operation. Comparisons between simulated and experimental results show good agreement, and extrapolations indicate that it should be possible to achieve an operating spectrum range of the order of 7 nm, with uncertainties equivalent to less than 2 pm in measurements of the sensor peak position. 相似文献

光纤加速度传感器与传统加速度传感器相比,不但能抗电磁干扰,而且体小、质轻、动态范围宽、精度高、能在恶劣环境下工作,因此受到各先进国家军事与商业领域的极大重视,各种实用的光纤加速度传感器不断涌现。主要有光强调制型和相位调制型两大类。光强调制式有反射式、透射式和偏振式等等。相位调制式有Mach-Zender干涉仪、Michelson干涉仪和Fabry-Perot干涉仪。有一维的,也有二维的;有与水听器组合在一起的,也有与光纤陀螺仪组合的光纤加速度传感器。最小的已经做到2.5cm长,直径仅0.25mm;测量精度已能达到1μg;共振频率可达到10kHz。为了克服温度不稳定性对测量精度的影响,人们采用了3×3耦合器解调法,双光路法,由单臂式改成推挽式等。一旦关键技术得以克服,光纤加速度传感器将会在惯性导航和其它领域发挥更重要的作用。本文将分别介绍目前各种类型光纤加速度传感器的结构、特点、走向实用化存在的问题。 相似文献

Infrared (IR)-induced second-harmonic generation in the chalcogenide glasses is observed. A phenomenological approach of IR picosecond non-linear optical (NLO) response in glass is developed for the middle IR spectral range (5–15 μm). The observed effect is explained within the framework of fifth-order NLO susceptibilities. A model that reproduces the basic characteristics of the experimental data, in which the optical non-linearities caused by photoinduced electron–phonon anharmonic interactions, is proposed. A novel method of obtaining shearing interferogram by slightly moving the crystal in a photorefractive interferometer is proposed. This method can measure the phase of an object itself instead of its diffraction field, and it is easy to realize continuously changeable shearing distance in any lateral direction and introduce carrier fringes at the same time.
