The progresses of understanding of the surfactant adsorption at the hydrophilic solid-liquid interface from extensive experimental studies are reviewed here. In this respect the kinetic and equilibrium studies involves anionic, cationic, non-ionic and mixed surfactants at the solid surface from the solution. Kinetics and equilibrium adsorption of surfactants at the solid-liquid interface depend on the nature of surfactants and the nature of the solid surface. Studies have been reported on adsorption kinetics at the solid-liquid interface primarily on the adsorption of non-ionic surfactant on silica and limited studies on cationic surfactant on silica and anionic surfactant on cotton and cellulose. The typical isotherm of surfactants in general, can be subdivided into four regions. Four-regime isotherm was mainly observed for adsorption of ionic surfactant on oppositely charged solid surface and adsorption of non-ionic surfactant on silica surface. Region IV of the adsorption isotherm is commonly a plateau region above the CMC, it may also show a maximum above the CMC. Isotherms of four different regions are discussed in detail. Influences of different parameters such as molecular structure, temperature, salt concentration that are very important in surfactant adsorption are reviewed here. Atomic force microscopy study of different surfactants show the self-assembly and mechanism of adsorption at the solid-liquid interface. Adsorption behaviour and mechanism of different mixed surfactant systems such as anionic-cationic, anionic-non-ionic and cationic-non-ionic are reviewed. Mixture of surface-active materials can show synergistic interactions, which can be manifested as enhanced surface activity, spreading, foaming, detergency and many other phenomena.  相似文献

本文用分光光度和核磁共振两种实验方法研究非离子表面活性剂(记作n-Sf)胶束对漂蓝6B(ECAB)及其金属络合物的增溶增敏作用。n-Sf对金属络合物的增溶增敏作用发生在胶束的极性部分与非极性部分的交界处,故n-Sf分子中的烷基链与聚氧乙烯链是否直接相联,会影响到金属-ECAB络合物的吸收光谱形状、λ_(max)和ε值。n-Sf胶束增溶ECAB,会抑制ECAB的酸式离解。  相似文献

Densities, viscosities and tracer diffusion coefficients for solutions of the nonionic surfactants Triton X-45, X-114, X-100 and X-102 in water (except for Triton X-45) and methanol, and for Triton X-100 in three water-methanol mixtures have been measured at 298.15 K and 308.15 K. The activation energy for viscous flow and the contributions to it from solute and solvent have been calculated. Comparison of the Gibbs energies of these systems shows the roles of polyoxyethylene chains of Triton X molecules in the interactions between solute and solvent, and also the effects of solvents on the inter-actions for different solutes. The viscosityB coefficients are positive for all of the surfactant solutions, and the temperature coefficients ofB are negative. In the non-micellar solutions in methanol, values ofB are small and the temperature coefficient ofB is nearly zero. In water-methanol mixtures the critical micelle concentration becomes larger as the methanol content increases up to 40% w/w; micelles are not formed at higher methanol concentrations. TheB coefficient decreases with increasing proportion of methanol in the solvent, and the temperature coefficient ofB changes from a fairly large positive value at low methanol contents to a small negative value at 80% w/w methanol.  相似文献

The molecular conformation of ionic surfactant in aqueous solution is investigated withfluorescent probes which are intrinsic insurfactant molecules or externally introduced. Quench-lng or pyrene monomer fluorescence by alkyltriphenylphosphonium or N-alkylpyridiniumobeys Stern-Voimer equation, being diffusi6n-controlled dynamic quenching, but the behaviorof quenching with different lengths of alkyl chain is "abnormal", i.e. the longer the chain,the greater the quenching rate constant. The pyrene excimer fluorescence is observed in theaqueous solution of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTMAB), and the inhibition (for cationicquenchers) and promotion (for anionic quenchers) effects of CTMAB on the quenching ofpyrene fluorescence are also observed. The self-coiling conformation of ionic surfactantmolecules in aqueous solution is proposed to be responsible for these observations and theconformation to be dynamic.  相似文献

In relation to a colloid stability, the adsorption structure of the Stern layer on a sessile mercury electrode in a thin liquid film of nonionic surfactant was investigated by measuring the double layer capacitance. The Stern capacitance on the electrode in the film could be detected when the measuring frequency used was low, for the resistance of the film was not extremely high but of the order of several thousand ohm. It was found that the adsorption structure of nonionic surfactant in the thin liquid film shows a stratification different from that of bulk.  相似文献

以对甲酚、月桂酸、乙二胺等为原料,通过酰化、Fries重排、磺化和缩合等反应,合成了一种含席夫碱结构的新型络合性表面活性剂,合成总产率为39.2%,以该表面活性剂为配体与Cu~(2 )作用形成配合物,产率为87.6%。测定了该表面活性剂在20℃时不同浓度下的表面张力和发泡高度,结果表明该物质具有较高的表面活性,其临界胶束浓度CMC为2.5×10~(-4)mol/L,其水溶液的最低表面张力为30 mN/m;用可见分光光度法测定了该表面活性剂铜配合物在25℃0.01 mol/L硼砂缓冲溶液中的生成稳定常数β为1.91×10~8,实验表明该表面活性剂与Cu~(2 )易形成稳定的配合物;用浓度稀释法测试了该配合物对大肠杆菌、金黄色葡萄球菌和白色念珠菌的抗菌活性,实验表明该配合物对白色念珠菌的抗菌力最高,其最小杀灭浓度为96.1×10~(-6)g/mL。  相似文献

The research of the effects of surfactants on coloring reaction between titanium and phenyl fluorone was developed.A survey of coexisting elements in the houttuynia cordata thunb was carried out by X-ray fluorescence spectrometry,and a series of interference tests and analyses were performed.The interference can be eliminated by processing through high temperature cineration and adding ascorbic acid.A new method of determination of titanium in houttuynia cordata thunb was established by phenyl fluorone spectrophotometry in the presence of Emulsifier OP.The results showed that Beer's law is obeyed within the range of 0~0.32 μg·mL-1 for titanium.The relative standard deviation(RSD) was 1.9%~2.0%,and the recovery was 96.8%~100.6%.The method was applied for determination of titanium in houttuynia cordata thunb with satisfactory results.  相似文献
