The conversion of tetrakis(diethylamino)titanium (Ti(NEt2)4) into titania via either a combination of hydrolysis (Ti(NEt2)4 : THF : H2O = 1 : 10 : x, x = 2, 4, 10) at ambient conditions and calcination (method A) or hydrolysis in a water-tetrahydrofuran (THF) mixture (Ti(NEt2)4 : THF : H2O = 1 : 10 : 100) at reflux (method B) was investigated. Titanium tertiary butoxide (Ti(O t Bu)4) was also used as a substitute for Ti(NEt2)4. The hydrolysis via method A resulted in the formation of amorphous solids containing organics. Thermal analyses showed that the hydrolysis products showed mass losses up to 500°C probably due to the presence of diethylamine (Et2NH) formed via the hydrolysis of Ti(NEt2)4 in the hydrolysis products, while a mass loss of the hydrolysis product from Ti(O t Bu)4 was completed up to about 200°C. After calcination at 600°C, anatase or a mixture of anatase and rutile was obtained. The crystallization behavior of the hydrolysis products from Ti(NEt2)4 was different from that of the hydrolysis product from Ti(O t Bu)4. The hydrolysis via method B gave only an amorphous material from Ti(NEt2)4, while a crystalline titania (anatase and brookite) formed from Ti(O t Bu)4.  相似文献

Sol-gel-derived titania films were analyzed by temperature programmed desorption (TPD) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) techniques. The relationship between the TPD curves measured for two types of titania gel films and their crystal structures was investigated. On the basis of the analyses, a preparation process for a titania sol solution containing anatase nanocrystals was designed and developed. Using this process, a colloidal anatase titania sol solution was prepared by heating aqueous titanium hydroxide containing HCl at 60°C for 2 h. The nanocrystal structure of the titania films obtained by coating the sol on glass substrates was confirmed by TPD and XRD measurements.  相似文献

Methods of the preparation of catalysts for alkane skeletal isomerization based on uniform nanoparticles of sulfated zirconia anchored to different supports were investigated. These catalysts were characterized by using the ICP, HRTEM and BET techniques. The activities of the catalysts in the reaction of n-butane isomerization were measured and compared with those of bulk catalysts.  相似文献

A nanocomposite photocatalyst composed of AlFeO3 and TiO2 is prepared, and characterized through X-ray diffraction. Application of the nanocomposite for the photodegradations of eosin dye and methyl orange gives an improved photoactivity compared with TiO2-only nanomaterials. The optimal concentration of AlFeO3 in the composite is about 1.0 wt% under UV excitation, and 9.0 wt% under sunlight excitation for the improved photoactivity. Furthermore, this nanocomposite is more active for eosin photodegradation if natural sunlight rather than UV is used. This may be due to the reason that adding AlFeO3 nanoparticles into TiO2 matrix can promote the separation of photogener-ated charge carriers, and extend the photoresponse of TiO2 toward visible region, which results in an increase in the solar energy utilization efficiency.  相似文献

Sol-gel titania was sulfated by using sulfuric acid as hydrolysis catalyst, or by impregnating with ammonium sulfate fresh samples prepared with nitric acid or ammonium hydroxide as hydrolysis catalyst. Samples were characterized with X-ray powder diffraction, infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetry and atomic absorption spectroscopy. Sulfate ions were found anchored to brookite and anatase phases, because they have short O—O atomic bond lengths slightly larger than the largest O—O bond length of sulfate ion. Since the shortest O—O atomic bond in anatase is smaller than the one in brookite, the sulfate ions are then less deformed when they are anchored to anatase, and consequently more stable. Therefore when the sample temperature is raised, the brookite with sulfate ions was transformed mainly to anatase and not into rutile, which is the most probably transformation when these ions are not involved. Sulfate ions also hindered anatase and brookite crystallite growing and stabilized the crystalline structure of anatase. When the sulfate ions are lost the crystalline anatase phase is transformed into rutile, leaving a large number of vacancies that favored atom diffusion and consequently the growing of rutile crystallites. The crystalline evolution of the samples as a function of the annealing temperature is almost independent of the sulfating method.  相似文献

Titania powders were synthesized by thermal hydrolysis of titanium tetrachloride in a mixed solvent was studied. The dielectric constant was tuned by regulating the acetone/water volume ratio (R/H ratio) and temperature of the solvent. Hydroxypropyl cellulose (HPC) was used as a steric dispersant. The synthesis were carried out at R/H ratios of 0–4, temperatures of 70–90°C, TiCl4 concentrations of 0.05–0.2 M, HPC concentrations of 0–5 × 10–3 g/cm3, and synthesis times of 15–60 min. The TiO2 particles obtained at an R/H ratio of 0, i.e., pure water system, were fine and agglomerated. In contrast, the TiO2 particles prepared at an R/H ratio of 3 were uniform and spherical. The TiO2 particle size increased with increasing TiCl4 concentration. The synthesis temperature did not influence the particle size, but greatly influenced the morphologyof the TiO2. Adding HPC to the solution yielded more uniform and spherical particles. In addition, the synthesis time should be longer than 30 min to obtain the most uniform and spherical particles. The dielectric constant of the acetone-water mixed solvent at 28 gave the most uniform and spherical TiO2 particles. The powders prepared at the condition of 0.1 M TiCl4, R/H ratio of 3, HPC concentration of 0.001 g/cm3, temperature of 70°C, and synthesis time of 1 h exhibited the most uniform and spherical morphology. The as-synthesized powder was anatase and retained the phase below 400°C. It transformed to the rutile phase after calcination at 700°C.  相似文献

Aqueous titanate sols were prepared by reactions of titanium tetraisopropoxide (TIP) with -hydroxycarboxylic acids in water. IR and Raman spectra, and elemental analyses of the precipitates obtained from the sols revealed that the carboxylates were chelated to titanium but the Ti species were polymerized to form a cluster that had a colloidal nature. Spin-coating of titania (TiO2) thin films from these sols was also examined. Interestingly, it was found that (004) preferentially oriented anatase films with refractive index of 2.54 were obtained from TIP-lactic acid-NH3 (1:1:1, molar ratio) aqueous sol. This crystallographic orientation was characteristic of the TIP-lactic acid-NH3 (1:1:1) system, and was not affected by the kinds of substrates used and the heating rate of the film. TEM observation indicated that small anatase grains had already formed at 200°C. Therefore, the crystallographic orientation might depend strongly on the structure of the chemical species of the precursor solutions.  相似文献

 研究了几种不同粒径的TiO2在CH3CCH和H2O的光催化反应中的催化活性.结果表明,利用离子注入法可以拓展纳米TiO2催化剂的光吸收区域,使其吸收带向可见光方向偏移,且偏移程度随着TiO2粒径的增大而增大;特别是注入V离子使TiO2催化剂在可见光区域具有光催化活性.V离子注入后,TiO2催化剂在紫外区域的光催化活性没有下降,但在可见光区域的光催化活性有所提高.在五种光催化剂中,具有中等粒径大小的P-25注入V离子后表现出最高的光催化活性.在太阳光直接照射下,这些光催化剂也具有较高的催化活性.  相似文献

EPR, UV/Vis and FTIR spectroscopy as well as thermal analysis (TA/MS) were applied to study the influence of sulfate species present in the anatase support on the specific nature of VOx species in supported VOx/TiO2 catalysts. Those sulfate species modify the local structure of the supported vanadyl species and lead to the formation of two types of VO2+ sites instead of only one type being formed on sulfate‐free anatase. EPR and FTIR spectroscopic measurements revealed that a part of the VO2+ species are directly bound to the surface sulfate species. By TA/MS it was found that SO2 is released at lower temperature from VOx/TiO2 in comparison to the vanadium‐free support. The direct bonding between sulfate and VOx species stabilizes the latter on the surface of VOx/TiO2 resulting in three effects: 1) a higher V site dispersion in comparison to sulfate‐free TiO2, 2) a better resistance of surface vanadyls against diffusion into the bulk of the support and 3) a much faster reoxidation of reduced V sites than observed on sulfate‐free TiO2.  相似文献
