A new protocol to obtain 3-substituted 2-cyclohexenones, was developed by reversing the chemical reactivity of 2-cyclohexenone. One-pot synthesis of 3-substituted 2-cyclohexenones can be achieved by treatment of 3-phenylthiosilyl enol ether with a mixture of t-BuLi/HMPA that allows hydrogen-selective exchange in presence of reactive electrophiles such as aldehydes, ketones and alkyl halides. This affords the corresponding product in moderate overall yield, after silyl enol ether cleavage and concomitant thiophenol elimination initiated with TBAF. 相似文献

Peptides with an N-alkoxy or N-aryloxy amino acid at their N-terminus were synthesized and successfully ligated with a peptide thioester by silver ion activation under a slightly acidic condition without requiring protection of the side chain amino groups. The N-methoxy group was easily cleaved by the SmI2 reduction in CH3OH aq. to obtain the desired peptide with a native peptide bond. This method was successfully applied to the synthesis of the human atrial natriuretic peptide showing the efficiency of the novel ligation. 相似文献

Reduction-responsive vesicle was prepared by salt-bridging N-[3-(dimethylamino)propyl]-octadecanamide (DMAPODA, a cationic amphiphile) using 3,3′-dithiodipropionic acid (DTPA, a disulfide diacid compound). According to the transmission electron micrograph and the fluorescence quenching degree (53.2%), it could be said that vesicles were formed when the DMAPODA to DTPA molar ratio was 2:2. The DMAPODA/DTPA associate was considered to be a building block for vesicle formation because DTPA could electrostatically associate with DMAPODA and help the cationic amphiphile assemble into the vesicle. On a differential scanning calorimetric thermogram, the DMAPODA/DTPA vesicle showed two endothermic peaks at 50.6°C and 63.2°C. The peak found at the lower temperature was possibly due to the solid gel-to-liquid crystal phase transition of the vesicular membrane and the peak found at the higher temperature was considered to be due to the melting of DMAPODA, indicating that unassociated DMAPODA coexisted with DMAPODA/DTPA vesicles. The release of calcein enveloped in the vesicle was promoted by DL-dithiothreitol, possibly because DTPA can be broken by the reducing agent to form mercaptopropionic acids and the vesicle could be disintegrated and/or the vesicular membrane would become defective. 相似文献

This study focuses on the heterogeneous Fenton-like reaction performed over a novel hybrid Cu–Mn–O catalyst for the degradation of a model compound benzophenone-3 (BP-3) in aqueous media. The hybrid Cu–Mn–O catalysts with different Cu/Mn molar ratios were synthesized using co-precipitation and hydrothermal methods, and their composition and morphology were characterized using XRD and SEM analyses. Key parameters including the Cu/Mn ratio in the synthesis, pH and titration of H2O2 were shown to significantly influence the degradation of BP-3. A hybrid catalyst with a chemical composition of Cu1.4Mn1.6O4, Mn3O4, and Mn2O3 exhibiting a morphology of nanofibers and nanoparticles demonstrated the highest catalytic activity in the degradation of BP-3. After 240 min of degradation, 81.5% of BP-3 was removed, which could be mostly related to the presence of hydroxyl radicals (˙OH). Unlike the conventional Fenton reaction that performs well under highly acidic conditions, BP-3 can be degraded in a wider pH range (2.6–7.1) in the Fenton-like reaction presented herein. Considering the mild conditions used for this Fenton-like system, this novel hybrid catalyst remains promising for wastewater treatment. 相似文献

To ensure sustainable hydrogen production by water electrolysis, robust, earth‐abundant, and high‐efficient electrocatalysts are required. Constructing a hybrid system could lead to further improvement in electrocatalytic activity. Interface engineering in composite catalysts is thus critical to determine the performance, and the phase‐junction interface should improve the catalytic activity. Here, we show that nickel diphosphide phase junction (c‐NiP2/m‐NiP2) is an effective electrocatalyst for hydrogen production in alkaline media. The overpotential (at 10 mA cm?2) for NiP2‐650 (c/m) in alkaline media could be significantly reduced by 26 % and 96 % compared with c‐NiP2 and m‐NiP2, respectively. The enhancement of catalytic activity should be attributed to the strong water dissociation ability and the rearrangement of electrons around the phase junction, which markedly improved the Volmer step and benefited the reduction process of adsorbed protons. 相似文献

Birth weight is a key consequence of environmental exposures and metabolic alterations and can influence lifelong health. While a number of methods have been used to examine associations of trace element (including essential nutrients and toxic metals) concentrations or metabolite concentrations with a health outcome, birth weight, studies evaluating how the coexistence of these factors impacts birth weight are extremely limited. Here, we present a novel algorithm NETwork Clusters (NET-C), to improve the prediction of outcome by considering the interactions of features in the network and then apply this method to predict birth weight by jointly modelling trace element and cord blood metabolite data. Specifically, by using trace element and/or metabolite subnetworks as groups, we apply group lasso to estimate birth weight. We conducted statistical simulation studies to examine how both sample size and correlations between grouped features and the outcome affect prediction performance. We showed that in terms of prediction error, our proposed method outperformed other methods such as (a) group lasso with groups defined by hierarchical clustering, (b) random forest regression and (c) neural networks. We applied our method to data ascertained as part of the New Hampshire Birth Cohort Study on trace elements, metabolites and birth outcomes, adjusting for other covariates such as maternal body mass index (BMI) and enrollment age. Our proposed method can be applied to a variety of similarly structured high-dimensional datasets to predict health outcomes. 相似文献

The application of ionic liquids for the dissolution of metal oxides is a promising field for the development of more energy- and resource-efficient metallurgical processes. Using such solutions for the production of valuable chemicals or electrochemical metal deposition requires a detailed understanding of the chemical system and the factors influencing it. In the present work, several compounds are reported that crystallize after the dissolution of copper(II) oxide in the ionic liquid [Hbet][NTf2]. Dependent on the initial amount of chloride, the reaction temperature and the purity of the reagent, copper crystallizes in complexes with varying coordination geometries and ligands. Subsequently, the influence of these different complex species on electrochemical properties is shown. For the first time, copper is deposited from the ionic liquid [Hbet][NTf2], giving promising opportunities for more resource-efficient copper plating. The copper coatings were analyzed by SEM and EDX measurements. Furthermore, a mechanism for the decomposition of [Hbet][NTf2] in the presence of chloride is suggested and supported by experimental evidence. 相似文献

Co0.5Ni0.5(Gd/Nd)xFe2-xO4 (x ?= ?0.0 and 0.06) ferrites were prepared by the solid-state reaction method. These materials were characterized by XRD, FT-IR spectroscopy, and VSM techniques. The XRD analysis revealed the phase formation of all samples and their cubic spinel structure with the Fd-3m space group. Lattice constant was found to increase due to Gd and Nd ions substitution. However, the crystallite size was observed to decrease by the substitution effect. The FT-IR spectra showed the two vibrational frequency bands of the tetrahedral and octahedral sites. From the magnetic properties study, it was identified that the pure and Gd substituted Co0.5Ni0.5Fe2O4 ferrite showed a ferromagnetic behaviour. While the Nd substituted Co0.5Ni0.5Fe2O4 ferrite delivered a superparamagnetic behaviour. The substitution of Gd and Nd changed the values of the magnetic parameters of Co0.5Ni0.5Fe2O4 ferrite. An increase in the saturation magnetization (Ms) value was observed due to substitution of Gd and Nd in Co0.5Ni0.5Fe2O4 ferrite, indicating that Gd and Nd substitution strengthen the supermagnetic interactions in Co0.5Ni0.5Fe2O4 ferrite. Syntheses of N-heterocyclic compounds that permit a flexible introduction of various substitution patterns by using inexpensive and diversely available starting materials are highly desirable. Easy to handle and reusable catalysts based on earth-abundant metals are especially attractive for these syntheses. We report here on the synthesis of 3,4-dihydro-2H-pyrroles via the hydrogenation and cyclization of nitro ketones. The latter are easily accessible from three components: a ketone, an aldehyde and a nitroalkane. Our reaction has a broad scope and 23 of the 33 products synthesized are compounds which have not yet been reported. The key to the general hydrogenation/cyclization reaction is a highly active, selective and reusable nickel catalyst, which was identified from a library of 24 earth-abundant metal catalysts. 相似文献

A delay differential equation is presented which models how the behavior of traders influences the short time price movements of an asset. Sensitivity to price changes is measured by a parameter a. There is a single equilibrium solution, which is non-hyperbolic for all a>0. We prove that for a< 1 the equilibrium is asymptotically stable, and that for a>1 a 2-dimensional global center-unstable manifold connects the equilibrium to a periodic orbit. Its birth at a=1 is not of Hopf type and seems part of a Takens–Bogdanov scenario. 相似文献
