Batch radical polymerization of non‐ionized methacrylic acid, 30 wt.‐% in aqueous solution, has been studied at 50 °C and ambient pressure with 2‐mercaptoethanol (ME) as the chain‐transfer agent (CTA). Initial polymerization rate decreases with CTA concentration, which has been varied up to 20 mol‐%. A kinetic model is presented which includes chain‐length‐dependent termination and uses an empirical function to account for the dependence of termination rate on both monomer conversion and molar mass of the polymeric product. In conjunction with PREDICI simulation, this model affords for an adequate representation of the measured monomer conversion vs. time profiles.

Composites of metal-organic frameworks and carbon materials have been suggested to be effective materials for the decomposition of chemical warfare agents. In this study, we synthesized UiO-66-NH2/zeolite-templated carbon (ZTC) composites for the adsorption and decomposition of the nerve agents sarin and soman. UiO-66-NH2/ZTC composites with good dispersion were prepared via a solvothermal method. Characterization studies showed that the composites had higher specific surface areas than pristine UiO-66-NH2, with broad pore size distributions centered at 1–2 nm. Owing to their porous nature, the UiO-66-NH2/ZTC composites could adsorb more water at 80% relative humidity. Among the UiO-66-NH2/ZTC composites, U0.8Z0.2 showed the best degradation performance. Characterization and gas adsorption studies revealed that beta-ZTC in U0.8Z0.2 provided additional adsorption and degradation sites for nerve agents. Among the investigated materials, including the pristine materials, U0.8Z0.2 also exhibited the best protection performance against the nerve agents. These results demonstrate that U0.8Z0.2 has the optimal composition for exploiting the degradation performance of pristine UiO-66-NH2 and the adsorption performance of pristine beta-ZTC.  相似文献

Vascular wilt caused by F. oxysporum (FOX) is one of the main limitations of producing several agricultural products worldwide, causing economic losses between 40% and 100%. Various methods have been developed to control this phytopathogen, such as the cultural, biological, and chemical controls, the latter being the most widely used in the agricultural sector. The treatment of this fungus through systemic fungicides, although practical, brings problems because the agrochemical agents used have shown mutagenic effects on the fungus, increasing the pathogen’s resistance. The design and the synthesis of novel synthetic antifungal agents used against FOX have been broadly studied in recent years. This review article presents a compendium of the synthetic methodologies during the last ten years as promissory, which can be used to afford novel and potential agrochemical agents. The revision is addressed from the structural core of the most active synthetic compounds against FOX. The synthetic methodologies implemented strategies based on cyclo condensation reactions, radical cyclization, electrocyclic closures, and carbon–carbon couplings by metal–organic catalysis. This revision contributes significantly to the organic chemistry, supplying novel alternatives for the use of more effective agrochemical agents against F. oxysporum.  相似文献

Fluorescent brightening agent VBL-based waterborne polyurethane dye (VBL-WPU) was synthesized by incorporation of VBL into waterborne polyurethane chains. The expected structure of polymeric fluorescent brightening agent was confirmed by FT-IR and UV-vis spectra. The molecular weight, average particle sizes and the contents of VBL segments in VBL-WPU were investigated. This polymeric dye exhibited intriguing optical behaviors. The absorption and emission maxima of VBL-WPU showed obviously hypsochromic shift in comparison with those of VBL. The fluorescence intensity of the polymer was prominently enhanced comparing with VBL because of the changes of micro-circumstance of VBL. Furthermore, the fluorescence of VBL-WPU was not sensitive to hydroquinone quencher.  相似文献

A novel thermal latent curing agent, 2MZS, was obtained through the reaction of 2‐methylimidazole (2MZ) and a symmetrically carboxyl‐functionalized star‐shaped molecule based on cyclotriphosphazene (N3P3‐COOH). In the complex, the resonance of N3P3‐COOH reduced the activity of lone electron pairs on the pyridine‐type nitrogen atom of imidazole ring, suppressing the nucleophilic attack and crosslinking reaction between 2MZ and epoxy resin. As a result, the storage stability was improved distinctly for the one‐pot epoxy compound, which could be steadily stored at room temperature for nearly 1 month. Nonisothermal DSC revealed a delayed initiation curing mechanism of the prepared one‐pot system, and which could undergo rapid curing reaction upon raising the temperature. Moreover, the introduction of terminally polyfunctional star‐shaped phosphazene derivative could promote the curing process at elevated temperature, as well as improve the chain rigidity of the cured resin by chemical incorporation into the cross‐linked network, thus endowing the cured resin with enhanced glassy storage modulus. The epoxy thermoset exhibited the highest glass transition temperature and thermal degradation temperature when 20 wt% of 2MZS was used. It is suggested that the novel latent curing agent is potential for high‐performance one‐pot epoxy compound, particularly recommended for application in electronic packaging fields.  相似文献

High curing temperature has been restricting the application and development of phthalonitrile resin. A complex curing agent containing melamine (ME) and ZnCl2 was developed to promote the curing reaction of resorcinol‐based phthalonitrile resin (DPPH). The thermal stability of ME can be significantly enhanced via adding ZnCl2, which was due to the interaction between ZnCl2 and amino group in ME. Moreover, the activities of pristine ZnCl2 and ME were improved via mixing, especially, the curing temperature for DPPH can be effectively reduced. Even at a curing temperature of 300°C, the 5% weight loss temperature of the resulting resin cured with complex curing agent still exceeded 500°C, which was much higher than those with pristine curing agents. In addition, the good long‐term oxidation stability and relatively low water absorption can also be obtained in the resins cured with novel curing agent. This work affords a facile route for designing high‐performance curing agent to improve the curing process of phthalonitrile resin.  相似文献

A stereoselective total synthesis of 16-membered C2-symmetric macrodiolide Pyrenophorol, Tetrahydropyrenophorol and 4,4-diacetylpyrenophorol have been accomplished. The organosilicon reagent 1,4‐bis‐(trimethylsilyl)‐1,4‐diaza‐2,5‐cyclohexadiene 2 plays the binary role of the simultaneous reduction of GeCl2.dioxane 1 dissolved in oleylamine to Ge nanocrystals and the formation of graphitic sheets under hot‐injection conditions. This colloidal synthetic route to germanium nanocrystals embedded on N‐doped graphitic nanosheets Ge/NG is free of any template or catalyst and involves easy purification techniques. The Ge/NG/C obtained after carbonization has been explored for anode performance in lithium‐ion batteries. Both Ge/NG and Ge/NG/C can be obtained on a gram scale and are bottleable under argon for months.  相似文献

采用高温固相法制备了一系列可被紫外光有效激发的Na1+xSr4-2x(BO3)3xCe3+荧光粉,并通过X射线衍射、扫描电镜、荧光光谱等测试方法对样品的物相结构、形貌和发光特性进行了表征及分析。X 射线衍射结果显示,Ce3+成功掺入到基质NaSr4(BO3)3中;利用高斯峰拟合、多光谱对比等手段,分析并验证了发光中心Ce3+占据了NaSr4(BO3)3中Sr2+(1)和Sr2+(2)两个格位;研究了不同浓度Ce3+的掺杂对发光位置和发光强度的影响,随着Ce3+掺杂浓度的提高,发射光谱出现红移,发光强度出现增强→减弱→再增强的趋势;将荧光粉的发射光谱与植物光合色素吸收光谱进行对比,发现它不仅可以吸收300~350 nm的紫外光,发射光谱还很好地覆盖了植物光合色素所需的蓝光区吸收波段,证明其在农业生产的转光剂方面有潜在应用价值。  相似文献

Hundreds of billions of commensal microorganisms live in and on our bodies, most of which colonize the gut shortly after birth and stay there for the rest of our lives. In animal models, bidirectional communications between the central nervous system and gut microbiota (Gut–Brain Axis) have been extensively studied, and it is clear that changes in microbiota composition play a vital role in the pathogenesis of various neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, anxiety, stress, and so on. The makeup of the microbiome is impacted by a variety of factors, such as genetics, health status, method of delivery, environment, nutrition, and exercise, and the present understanding of the role of gut microbiota and its metabolites in the preservation of brain functioning and the development of the aforementioned neurological illnesses is summarized in this review article. Furthermore, we discuss current breakthroughs in the use of probiotics, prebiotics, and synbiotics to address neurological illnesses. Moreover, we also discussed the role of boron-based diet in memory, boron and microbiome relation, boron as anti-inflammatory agents, and boron in neurodegenerative diseases. In addition, in the coming years, boron reagents will play a significant role to improve dysbiosis and will open new areas for researchers.  相似文献
